APEX Endodontics

This is the finest endodontist in the Kansas City area.
I had Metlife dental and had to get two, yes two root canals – I went to the only endo that was «in network». It was downtown Kansas City. There was a row of maybe 4 chairs of people all having dental surgery at once! They were very rough and my entire jaw was swollen the next day as a result.
Fast forward 2 years later and I had to have another root canal (I grind my teeth so I do alot of damage) and my regular dentist referred me to Apex. She said they are nothing like my previous experience. But… they were not in my network. I was torn because I really didn’t want to spend $ 400 more on a root canal but I just could not go through that experience again.
Well, at my husband’s urging I stayed right here in JoCo and got excellent service at Apex. I was the doctor’s only appointment (gee, not 4 at once) and he took his time to confirm I actually needed a root canal too by taking his own x-​rays. Even better, the next day my face wasn’t swollen and painful.
The only reason I didn’t give him 5 stars is I really wish they weren’t only in network with just one insurance.
