I had the lemon chicken wrapped in briscoutto… It was OK… Little drier than I thought it would be… Also rice was tasty but under cooked

Great, fast, friendly service. The ancho salmon is fantastic adv the garlic sauteed spinach is perfect. I’ll have to remember to come back here. Perfect experience

Family friendly, spread out, and fast service. I came here with my husband and son(6 months old) and we found this to be a somewhat up-scale in décor restaurant that also would appear to cater to families with young children. At least four tables around us had children/babies under 5 years old and all were relatively well behaved(as was our son since, if he starts to act up at restaurants, we get our food to go and we leave). The food was decent and the wine was not too pricey either. Our waitress was friendly and she was very quick to get our orders and drinks. It was a nice change since things can be a bit hectic when you dine out with a baby. All in all, I would come here again for a decent meal and to be in a restaurant where I would feel at ease taking a young child to.

I love fried pickles, but not here. They were soaked in grease and resulted in a stomachache if you eat more than two.

Don’t waste your time or money! I work I a busy hospital and was being helpful by ordering and picking up.food. man, did I make the wrong choice! I should have know when I called no one answered beside the answering machine the first 5 times or would pick up and be placed on hold. So, I get the food, friendly but still not impressed. I get back and we dig in… GROSS! The fried pickled were soaked in grease and soggy. A couple of us had the chicken wrap, which is basically heavily breaded friend chicken strips soaked in chili sauce in a stale tortilla. The home fried chips lacked flavor and the cheesecake was just disappointing! Just disappointing! Lacked flavor and just awful!!! The best part… now you have a group of hospital employees, working the night shift with upset stomach related to the amount of grease and poor quality if ingredients.

The Brie en crote was to die for, the burger excellent, the homemade chips crisp, and the garlic ranch was subtle and delicious. Best of all was our server Lela. She made the mealtime experience most enjoyable. Very convenient location, just off 135th street.

This was the worst experience we have ever had. At first we get seated in the corner next to the kitchen. There was no salt at the table and only 1 thing of silver wear. There were four of us. And then when we actually do get our food it looks like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 15 minutes. My son ordered a cheeseburger and it looked like a hockey puck. And he did not eat and he is three and will eat anything. We also ordered some soup that tasted like tomato paste. The beer was hot. And the waiter barely checked on us. My bf used to run a kitchen for many years, and he let them know. They acted like that was irrelevant and did nothing to correct the multiple issues. Would not recommend to anybody. Ps. Had to wait 15 minutes to get anyone to acknowledge we were there.

I have visited this restaurant for lunch several times and the front desk is usually unmanned and the service is slow. The last time we were there for lunch, the waiter could not have been more uninterested in serving us. The place only had 3 other tables full and the waiter was slow to take our drink orders, slow to take the lunch orders, and we had to flag him down and ask for drink refills as he did not come back to check on our table. Also, during one of our visits there, there was no heat(the furnace was broken). They did not warn us of this problem when we arrived, nor did they admit there was a problem when we mentioned how cold it was in the restaurant. We ate in our coats and the restaurant did not even attempt to explain the situation or comp us dessert, anything that would indicate interest in the customer. We will not return.

We go to Blue Moose because it’s close to home. We usually go on a Friday night and sit in the bar area. They have a good variety of food and I’ve always been happy with my choices– salmon, filet, crab cakes, quesadillas. They have some good lighter options, too. Service can take time, but we are never in a hurry. It stays on our favorites list!

The service here was amazing. Our waitress rocked everything and was so upbeat I felt like she was an old friend. The reason I’m giving 2 stars is due to the entrée I received. I ordered mahi fish tacos and was so excited to bite into a juicy, spicy, fresh fish taco. What I got was a stale tortilla, with the worst tasting fish I have ever had. I literally could not chew one more time or swallow the food in my mouth. The fish tasted rancid and was so rubbery that I had to spit it out(something I am not proud of). I will say I was very disappointed that nothin was done to accommodate the bad meal. There was not an option of a replacement or worst case scenario, a refund. We were told that our waitress would remember us next time and would give us an appetizer. We haven’t been here before and most likely will not be going back which is unfortunate.

We stop in no less than once per week. Great lunch spot. Plenty on the menu to satisfy everyone. Service at the bar is excellent. Great salads and love the burgers. I think you either get the Blue Moose hanging on the wall or you don’t. Funny as hell to me. Also today $ 2 everything beers. Bottles are $ 1.50. Happy New Years to me!

Me: I am really thirsty, what is the biggest beer I can have? Waitress: All of our beers come in the same sized glass.(points to glass on next table) Me: great, what is on tap? Waitress lists beers. Me: I’ll take the Tank 7! Later… Tank 7 arrives in Tank 7 «wine glass» — Costs 2 dollars more…“higher alcohol content” ugh. 20 minutes after order, one of our meals is not there; asked 3 times for a straw for an elderly guest who needed one(denture issue). Just say no to the nose ringed server… water not filled, etc. Food is always good– portions are great. Service… can be real sketchy. Some good, some AWFUL.

Have been here several times.(My son requests it for his bday, as he loves the chicken wrap.) I like that Blue Moose has some unique dishes that differentiate them from other bar & grills. I also appreciate that they support local BBQ like 3 pigs. Love the fried pickles — different than any others I’ve had, and I’ve made it my mission to try the fried pickles at every opportunity given to me. I’ve tried a variety of entrées and haven’t had anything I didn’t like. Oh, and the service has always been good too!

Went there for happy hour with my family on a Friday afternoon. It wasn’t too busy and we got seated right away. Our waitress knew the menu very well and was very friendly and attentive! I ordered the mac & cheese with bacon and it was delicious! I’m not typically a mac & cheese person but I loved it. Totally recommend it and I would definitely come back again!

It’s a good deal for happy hour. Half price drinks and appetizers. We had hummas and chicken quesidillas for appetizers. We also had a lemon drop martini, black tie affair and beer. Beer selection was ok. My husband had a kc steak. We also had salads, mac and cheese and chicken tenders. It was all ok but not great. The Blue Moose off of K 10 is better.

A star above Applebee’s just because the service is good. Went there on a Friday evening just to have some food and cocktails. I didn’t expect much from the chain. All the food was pretty warm when we got it. Nothing stood out or even tasted like it has any seasoning to it. All the cocktails were very sugary and weak so I switched to water and vodka. Walking past the bar to go to the bathroom it stunk like cologne due to all the married men, or just bro friends watching golf. Ha! Won’t go back but figured I’d give it a try. I’ll try any restaurant once.

Blue Moose is like a larger Applebees with a little more of an upscale menu. It’s a sports bar with a lot of large televisions. The bar looked great so did the drinks, although we didn’t have any. The food was very good. Service was excellent. It’s a nice place to throw a few back after work or catch a game on the big screen.

Wooooow. Terrible service. I’ll skip the lengthy story and get to the details. Five minutes to get greeted. Was greeted by two separate servers, neither sure of which would take care of us. Ten minutes to place entrée order when there was a total of six tables for three servers. Waters were not refilled once. There was no check back during the meal, or during the appetizer. From the time we ordered to the check being dropped, the server was in the back. Was not offered dessert. on the bright side the food was decent. Will not be returning. Price tag does not justify the abysmal service and disregard for the customer experience.

I’ve never heard of Blue Moose until restaurant week. Their lunch menu sounded really good so, we decided to give it a try. Let me start off by saying that it seemed like they were short staffed. It seemed like it took a while to be greeted, seated, and get our food! Overall, the service was great and the food was worth the wait. We tried the following on their restaurant menu: Shrimp and grits Mixed green salad Chicken and potatoes It sounds like they have a really good brunch at a reasonable price so we’ll have to come back and check that out. Hopefully, they’ll have more hands on deck!

A nice, atmospheric place – and gluten free friendly too! I ordered a small Cesar salad, with a bowl of artichoke bisque. They had a mimosa special too, so why not? We splurged. Unfortunately, the artichoke bisque was way too salty, and I ended up only eating about half. Our waitress was extremely friendly and often came to check in with us.
