Loved the burgers and the fact that the toppings are included. I had an Oreo chocolate shake which was good, but not the best I’ve ever had. A bit pricey – two burgers and two shakes was $ 22+.

Avoid this location! I was a loyal customer and would go there every week. I went to this location on January 12016 at 11:00 am and got food poisoning. To make things worse I was flying home that day for a funeral and was sick all night the day of the funeral. I went to the doctor and they confirmed I have food poisoning. I will boycott all 5 guys burgers and spread the word about my unpleasant experience.

Love the burgers here. Choice of toppings great including sauteed mushrooms and onions. Got the kosher hotdog, wish they had sauerkraut.

You get free peanuts, which is the best part about this place. Notice that the people that say Five Guys is their favorite place, is also the kind of person that gets ripped on College GameDay, and jokes about frat friends from back in the day. If you’re drunk, then these greasy burgers are incredible. Oh, you say you want fries with that? Well here’s a big greasy brown bag full of nasty grease fries. Oh, I forgot to throw your grease burger on top of your greasy bag of fries. Here you go. Ew. Never again. There are so many different options for hamburgers, that the only reason I would eat here was if I was starving and just happened to walk by as they were giving out hamburgers for free. You’ll never get another dime. I gave it a 3 because it doesn’t taste horrible, but it’s not worth cash — flavorless grease burger, much like white Castle. Then people just drop peanut shells all over the floor like that was ever a cool thing to do. You’re rude. This is not your home. This is an establishment owned by a company. You don’t just throw your trash on the floor when you’re done. Terrible people. You should try it.

4 of us were looking to get a good burger and never tried 5 Guys. Came in on a Saturday evening around 5:30 and the place was almost empty. Had the regular cheese burger(2 Patti) and fries. Burger was good, fries — not the way I like them. Fries were limp and kinda of soggy. I like mine some crispy. Burger 3 ½ stars, fries 1 star.

Showed up with a group of about 20 people. They let us rearrange the dining room to fit our needs and had our food to us so fast we all pretty much ate at the same time. Burger was nice juicy and spot on what I ordered. Went for a large fry to share with my section and it fed way more than a few. After we were done we started putting the tables back and the workers offered to do it for us. Classy. Big points for that. We put it all back ourselves but they were so nice. Big props from this family for sure.

New location for BF and I. Far superior to location at Overland Park Mall. Busy lunchtime today and still got a correctly executed order… juicy burger a big plus… in 10 minutes. Thumbs up to this store!

This was the freshest, tastiest burger and real fresh French fries we’ve had in a long time. Made to order and so hot you have to wait a few minutes to eat them! VERYNICE!

This place easily has the best Burgers in Kansas city. Whatever you do, don’t overdo it on the fries. One order will easily feed two adults. Also, make sure you specify what condiments to put on the burger. They even take call in orders, this place is awesome!

Great burgers! Haven’t had a burger that good in a long time, the hubby agrees! Staff was very friendly and professional. The place looked clean and simple. Wish we had one of these where we live.

I have been to 5 Guys in the past and really liked the whole fresh made to order concept. Unfortunately this time I didn’t have the pleasure of going in, instead my boyfriend being the nice guy that he is brought me a cheeseburger to my bedside. It had been a very long day and neither of us had eaten for 24 hours. I had just had surgery and woke up starving and jello just wasn’t going to cut it. This was probably the best cheeseburger I had ever eaten. I chose the small cheeseburger knowing I would never be able to finish a double. When he arrived with our dinner and that wonderful aroma filled the room we dove into that brown bag like a couple of little kids on Christmas morning. I opened the wrapping on that burger and WOW what a work of art. Cooked to perfection, medium, slightly pink in the center, warm and juicy with all my favorite toppings, lettuce, tomato, green peppers, grilled onions, mayo and ketchup. I was in heaven, just writing this is making my mouth water. We had several nurses stopping by to see what we were having because it smelled so good. Can’t wait to actually go in watch as my dinner in hand crafted in my presence. But either way dine in or carry out you can’t go wrong here. Delicious food at a reasonable price.

Awesome, I’m the first reviewer of 2014. Came here to pick up dinner for my girlfriend and I, she just had back surgery and neither one of us had eaten close to 24 hour’s. I came here because I love this place. I entered the restaurant and was greeted by friendly staff, once I placed my order I chatted it up a little bit with one of the cook’s when he wasn’t busy. I got my gf a little cheeseburger with her requested toppings and I ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon with lettuce, tomato, mayo, grilled mushrooms and mayo. I also ordered a small fries, it was nice to get fresh out of the fryer fries, I took away 1 star because I personally like a crunchier fries but that’s just my opinion, I/we still ate them all because they were good and they give you plenty to eat. I got our food back to the hospital and had the medical staff coming in our room wondering what smelled so good in their hallways and we were happy to tell them it was 5 guy’s burgers and fries. I believe those were some of the best burgers we’ve ever had from there, hot, juicy and flavorful. I have their 5 guy’s app on my phone but have yet to use it to place a order because I’m hesitate something will get messed up with the long list of toppings choices to choose from. I just need to get over that and try it out. I have come here many of times before my Unilocaling day’s and I will still continue to come here when I’m in the area wanting a burger.

4 solid gold stars!(Minus 1 only because husband and I aren’t fans of their french fries, too limp!) Open wide because even a single burger is enormous here! And if you order a «cheeseburger» you are automatically getting a double, so remember if you want just one patty to order a «little cheeseburger». I love fried mushrooms and onions on a burger and its so rare to find a place that will add them! And for free! The menu is very short, and the price is more than you’ll pay at a cheap fast food place, but I assure you it’s worth every extra penny to have something this size and this quality. If you’re going to break all your diet rules this is the place to do it. On that note there isn’t really anything to eat here other than burgers, hot dogs and fries, so if you’re hoping to get a salad or veggie burger you’re out of luck. There’s just a real spirit of excellence in this place. Great service. Top notch food. They had someone full time wiping tables and clearing up the place which is fantastic to see because it’s always busy.

I used to think 5 Guys was awesome, but have heard not so great things about them recently. Well, tonight we went for our first time to any 5 guys and loved it! The staff was ALL extremely nice, fries were ok, but the burgers were great! A little pricer than I’d like, but I got over it as soon as the burger hit my mouth. All in all, I give this place two thumbs up. No, it will have to be only one thumb up cuz there’s no way I won’t have one of their burgers in my other hand if I’m there :)

I lOVE Five Guys. I really do. I love the little cheeseburger, it’s inexpensive and the perfect size. I love the fries. The peanuts are even good. The quality of the food is great. The soda machine, computerized touch screen. The service is fast, and correct. What shuddered me was the hollering of order taker, when he called the order numbers! It made me jump every time. Yet, he was so kind and hilarious. The man’s voice thunders across Five Guys. The first time, I about jumped out of the seat, the second time, «That might annoy me,’ and I still wasn’t ready for the thunder. Oh, I’ll eat at this location again. It’s delicious. And I’ll be ready for the thunder the next time!

I am not a huge burger fan, but I love the burgers here. They are so juicy and the white-bread bun just melts into the burger. Oh heavenly yumminess!!! I had the«little» cheeseburger and then there are tons of FREE toppings to add on. Grilled onions? Check. Jalapenos? Check. Lettuce and Tomato? Check. These are not«gourmet’ with fancy, exotic, hipster combinations. These are down-home American burgers with the right amount of grease, I mean juice. The fries are hand-cut, or at least they look like they are, and they are just the right amount of crisp. There are way too many for one person — even the regular size — so share if you can. I missed the cajun fries. I’ll have to try those next time. The service was really quick and nice. Service with a smile and a friendly chit-chat. The place is spic-and-span clean — all white with red accents. There are peanuts in the shell while you wait. There is a short wait, but that’s how you know everything is freshly made. Also, even though the peanuts are in a big box, for the person who was grossed out by that, they are in a SHELL. You must SHELL the peanut yourself before you eat it. Do you not eat wrapped candybars or potato chips out of a bag? Will I go back? Yes. Is this health food? No. But every now and then, you need a good burger. Come here.

The nearest 5 Guys to my office. Lovely, fresh, greasy burgers with whatever toppings your little heart desires, which might be none at all, if you’re The Boy and apparently want to live on only meat & cheese & bacon. World’s coolest soda machine adds to the ambiance… it’s a retro-touchscreen wonder, as if someone crossed a 50’s gas-station coke cooler with a Star Trek food replicator. Also, The Boy loves the absolutely prodigious amount of fries they dump into the bag. Seriously, we split a small order & he’s still taking half a bag of fries home in the grease-spotted sack.

I ordered the combo(sub story — I rushed in and ordered like a madman and forgot to say«bacon cheese burger» because I think all burgers should just be made that way… so I say«burger» and I realize it after she already rang it up and I paid… the cashier was super nice about it when I told her about my dilemma and asked to pay the difference to upgrade it… but after seeing it wasn’t quite that simple, I told her«nevermind» but she still went through a pretty elaborate process of retrieving the old ticket, refunding the first burger combo and resubmitting and recharging the new bacon cheese burger combo and by now I have like three tickets — it was madness. I wish I hadn’t messed up in the first place… point is she really wanted my order to be right for me.) and a hotdog with mustard, jalapeño, tomato, relish, and pickle. I got the little bacon cheese burger with grilled mushrooms, grilled onions and jalapenos. The flavors didn’t meld into a cascade of flavor like I had hoped. I mean, I read the reviews before I went and I had some high expectations. I think if the mushrooms had been sauteed then it would have been more like my mental image. Perhaps I’ll try again with some A1 — it needs something liquid like to mix the flavors. The patty is pretty thin, too. The hot dog was really pretty good. It was sliced down the middle and served flat. I liked the dog better than the burger. The fries were kinda limp and I think you have to ask for the Cajun flavoring because mine didn’t taste any different than regular fries. They give you a ton of them though. They are served in cup, I guess you could say. It really seems like they put an empty cup in the bottom of the bag and then just dump about 2 – 3 times the capacity of the cup worth of fries in over the cup. This makes the bag really greasy and perpetuates the fantasy of getting something really delicious. Oh and the peanuts. I don’t know if we are allowed to throw them on the floor or not… I’m going to guess no. It seemed pretty clean. The overall feel of the place reminded me of Rally’s. Red and white tile everywhere. I noticed a sign that said«Best Burger 2008» 2008 must have been a bad year for burgers. The drink station was Coke products — highly endorsed by me. However, they also have a tea station. The very same tea they have at Sam’s Club. I like the Sweetened Green Tea. It’s an ok burger. Not knock your socks off, but ok. I’ll try again… but I’ll bring someone to help me eat all those fries. Little Burger is $ 3.58 and Little Bacon Cheeseburger is $ 4.88 with tax. Hotdog is $ 2.49, fries are $ 2.49 and regular drink is $ 1.79 without tax.
