I had seen this restaurant a long time ago n finally decided to come today. Great experience. Food is delish specially homemade tortillas and the menu has so many options. The server was nice and attentive. I will definitely be coming back very soon!

My family has been coming to this restaurant for years. Decided to take my wife and son here for the first time. The food is really fresh and it is light on grease. Handmade tortillas are always a special surprise. Also the staff is very attentive giving you a warm welcoming feeling. Definitely recommended to anyone looking for a quiet delicious sit in Mexican food diner.

Would def come here again. We chose it while driving through. At first we didn’t think the directions could be correct as it’s in a very industrial area, but we found it and decided to go in.
Very pleasantly surprised. We were greeted with good, hot coffee, and piping hot chips, freshly cooked. The salsa was perfect for breakfast, almost a salsa fresca, very tasty!
Our breakfasts were perfectly cooked and flavorful. Great find, thanks to Unilocalers who have given it good ratings so we would stop. It’s a hidden gem.

Shrimp soup was good! It was so good… I didn’t want it to end… would want more veggies and shrimps. A solid 9
In house hot sauce is not all that! Being authentic I was hoping for more heat! Don’t get me wrong the one I got is great! Nice smoky flavor. It’s just a bit mild, it would be nice if they had a choice of this one and a hotter one.

So I got the carnitas burrito also! Meat was so tender the rest of the ingredients were fresh! Burrito was like 10 inches long. Great deal for the price.
In no way shape or form I’m saying that the soup was small! It was a big bowl! For anyone else an app/​salad and soup would have been MORE enough food.
Sad…no postres! no desserts!

I had a bacon omelette with hash brown and veggie burrito. The server was very attentive and food was good too.

I have been slacking off on my reviews so I am going to start back up. Deb and I came here for breakfast this morning based on Unilocal reviews. I had the Mexican omelet and Deb had the chorizo with eggs and potatoes. Both were quite good with lots of flavor. Mine was served with hash browns and her chorizo with beans. I have to agree with other reviews, this is a hidden gem of a place but one worth searching out.

Went there for breakfast today, This place is kind of hidden and a real GEM ! I agree with the other posters, this place is easily one of Oxnards best kept secrets. The Omellete and Potatos Hash were cooked too perfection. the portions are Large, they dont skimp on the servings !!! The service was fast and friendly, the girl who served us was really professional and nice, I’ll def be back again soon. its rare to find a restuarant that can cook american food and mexican food, so deliciously. This place is an A+ !!

Love this place! Denver Omellette was delicious. Carne Asada Taco was delicious. Waitress was really nice and gave us great customer service. She refilled are Chips and Drinks. Chips and Salsa was also great. Really enjoyed the food.

This place is literally the best kept secret in Oxnard. They have the best menudo and chilaqueles in the area. The fact that it is in a isolated trucker spot adds to the ambiance.

I ate a carne asada taco here about 10 minutes after eating one at La Placita on C st. The meat was flavorful. Actually, I think it was fattening. I think they fry the meat in lard. I don’t mind. The tortilla was good, the salsa was chunky and a little sweet. It’s an old diner with a counter and booths. I’ll definitely be back for a burrito soon.
