Charming Charlie

I like to go there because they have a huge selection of cute costume jewelry in every color you can think of. I like to go buy my girlfriends gifts from there without breaking the bank. They have a great discount selection in the back. I don’t think I have left empty handed.

Charming Charlie is great. I love that everything is grouped by color and so inexpensive.

I was in an ‘iffy’ situation considering I was past the 30 day policy for getting a refund for a necklace I bought for my girlfriend. I walked in, talked to the extremely friendly manager, she listened to my story as to why I’m passed the 30 day policy. Showed her the email response from the headquarters I contacted about my situation. She gladly accepted it and gave me a refund with 0 hassle. This place is sincerely organized, beautiful and welcoming. I don’t have a single complaint about this place or its employees. Two thumbs up for this Charming Charlie’s!

I love it. Cute items at affordable prices. All organized by color so it’s easy to shop. In a great shopping area that will be huge very soon. You can always find something in this store. It’s impossible to leave without finding something that you like!

I’ve said to many people after having visited this place twice now — I died and went to accessory heaven!
Everything grouped by color, I was able to find a pair of earrings for Christmas, as well as a few other items for a different occasion. Helpful employees made this an easy experience and I am grateful to have this in the collection!

It’s a hit & miss with this place. The 1 star is for the employee who worked that day. I was never greeted when I walked in alone. As I was shopping with the minnie basket in hand, she saw me but never asked if I needed help not even a Hello. What’s her problem? Don’t like working there then she should quit!
I have shopped here twice before & bought things. Back then the cashiers were more friendly & energetic.
I end up changing my mind & returned the necklace/​earring set that I was thinking about buying. I wish I knew her name so everyone reading this will be aware of her. She was working on Oct 6^th (my birthday) if any manager/​owner reads this.

This place is super cute — it’s like a forever 21 for accessories and jewelry! There are some clothing item but not very much. They are categorized mostly by the color it seems (pink, purple, blue, black/​white). It each section, you will find cute watches ranging from 15−25+, necklaces, rings, bracelets, handbags, scarves, and even shoes! I tried on a pair and wouldn’t say they are the most comfortable but the accessories are great!
I actually bought a turquoise watch for 15 and it serves its purpose. I also bought two flower hair clip which seems durable and cute for about 6 bucks altogether. Got a coral-​like nail polish for like 5 bucks. It peels easily but the color is beautiful while it lasts. I think this place is worth visiting. It’s cheap so expect the quality to be what you’re paying for. Will get you by if you have a specific event you are planning. I will be returning :)

While I have been a huge fan of the Charming Charlie located at T.O. Mall, this newer one located at The Collection in Oxnard, is even BETTER. It’s bigger, I like the look and feel of it more, and it even seems to have more merchandise. I’m really not sure if that’s true or not, but it just seems like it. I really love the décor, and I have to say, their merchandise definitely seemed better… more things that appealed to me than the other store seems to offer. Also, the set up of The Collection itself is so appealing… you can drive right up to the store itself and just park along the street. That availability will diminish as word of mouth gets out that this is one cool outdoor mall.
