DCH Honda Of Oxnard

We thought we had a minor issue with the a/​c in our honda, and christian helped us out. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and took the time to show us another car, similar to ours. Turned out, our a/​c was fine, and saved us $ 200 diagnostic fee.

I purchased my first brand new car from DCH Honda of Oxnard and I had an absolutely wonderful experience. I inquired online and was contacted by T.J., who was very interested in having my business but not pushy at all. I told him what I wanted (a 2015 white Accord Coupe LX-​S) and the same day he found me the exact one I wanted in beautiful condition. T.J. and the entire sales staff went above and beyond to accommodate me and I drove off the lot in the car I wanted. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a Honda.
Update– I purchased my car in September 2015, brought it back 6÷21÷2016 for an oil change and inside and outside detailing due to some spills inside. My car looks absolutely amazing ! The staff were super nice and prompt, my car was completed on time and looks as good as the day I bought it. Highly recommend for new car and detailing needs !!!

I just started bringing my 2008 CRV here for repairs and it is the nicest Honda repair place I have visited. I’m always greeted at the door and even walked to where I need to start. The large waiting area is the best that also has a quiet area. There is an espresso machine, big screen TV, fresh cookies and on Fridays free manicures (suggested tips.) All this and the pricing is very competitive — check for coupons on their website.

I am so incredibly satisfied with the service here. I went to two different mechanics and got exorbitant quotes to fix my AC. I decided to try Honda but was afraid it would be more expensive. It wasn’t! In fact is was about $ 1,000 cheaper than the other two mechanics! And Robert was very helpful in the service department. Plus the waiting room is super nice with delicious cookies and coffee. And free manicures on Fridays! I’m definitely coming here from now on.

Had a good deal. Beware of some sharks though that wanted to overprice you. Make sure to look for Tomas Juarico, he’s a good guy!

If you are buying a used vehicle from DCH honda of oxnard, please have them differentiate between a Honda Certified vehicle and a DCH Certified vehicle.
They advertise vehicles online as being Honda certified, but they are DCH certified. Not the same thing by any means. 125 point inspection versus a 250+ point inspection.
I bought a van from them and they advertised as honda certified and it was not. Warranty is different and DCH certification can be done by any mechanic at any shop and not by a Honda Tech like you would think if you buy a vehicle from a dealership.
I’ll have videos to prove advertised vehicles as Honda certified on their website, but they are in fact DCH Certified really soon!

Honda of Oxnard is wonderful! Every person I dealt with, from making an appointment on the phone, dealing with the service department, to the cashier were all so pleasant and courteous. I highly recommend them for servicing your Honda! We will be going back!

I had a very positive experience at DCH Honda of Oxnard. The salesperson Roberto couldn’t do enough for me. First, he gave me the lowest price of all the Honda dealers in So California. Next, he gave me an up front full disclosure of the out of door price of the new car (doc fees, accessories, tax, etc) I wanted. Finally, when I went to pick up the car, all accessories were installed and the car was ready to go.
Whenever I called Roberto, he got back to me within 5 minutes! He even spoke to me on his day off.
I would highly recommend this dealership for their no nonsense, no games and making the buying of a new car experience very positive

The service manual is not helpful! it contains instructions for features my car does not have!
Funny, i think if you give me a manual it should cover the information for my car!
Also, given a dvd. Worthless, how many people want to watch a dvd for instructions on their car!
Don’t call the dealership and ask about the manual. You will find someone who knows nothing on the other end of your call.

I just got a new 2016 Honda Accord and traded in my car, Jacob and Jonathan where very helpful and patient in explaining everything to me and help me make it possible to get my car. I was pleased with their service and making sure I understood everything.

Today I noticed a screw embedded in my front, driver’s side tire. I went to Honda and they had to replace the tire. They have a very comfortable waiting area — tv, coffee and great cookies — so waiting for my car was very easy. I always get great service and they really care about their customers.

This review is for the service department. We have always been very pleased and satisfied with the results, value, and time it takes to do the work. We have two Hondas that we have 65k and 180k miles respectively so drive them quite a bit. The goal is for them to last as long as they can. Because I grew up with Hondas helping pay for me and my mom’s lifestyle as a Honda Stepson;
I am always glad to support a Honda Dealership that does good work at a reasonable price. We have not had any issues with the dealership, as the service advisors; have been very helpful.

DCH Honda Oxnard always does great job servicing my car: 2012 Honda Insight! All employees are very friendly, willing to answer any questions or help in any way! Definitely recommend vehicles as well as services!

Thanks to a recommendation from the best family friend one could hope for, I found myself at DCH Honda on a Saturday morning. I had a 4 year old car I was paying too much for, I was underwater, and I needed help. I walked in and met Christian first, I spoke to Bill (the general manager that my family friend had sent me to), and I began the process of seeing what help, if any, that DCH could offer…
Christian is without a doubt the best, most knowledgeable, and most realistic person I have ever met. He walked me (quite literally) through my options and colors, showed me what I needed and what could just be a luxury, and sold me exactly what I needed. I drove away 3 hours later in a brand new Civic, and even being a lifelong Ford man my entire 20 years of driving history, it is the greatest purchase I have ever made.
Bill is the kind of man you want to deal with when you buy a car. He laid everything out clear and straight, he was completely honest about what I could afford and what the costs and fees would be over the life of the car, and in the end… He helped me. He saved me from the horrible mess I had put myself in and set me on a better path. And for that and much more, I will be grateful and loyal to DCH Honda.
So, after 20 years and 8 different Fords, I can happily say I own a 2016 Honda Civic. It has incredible handling and acceleration. It fits all the craziness of my lifestyle and family. It makes me appreciate my car again… Something I haven’t had in a long time.

The best part is the back window stopped working after 28 days — literally was breaking the interior of the door when we tried putting it up AFTER the FIRST USE! THEN they said we would have to pay them over $ 200 to fix it.
They guaranteed to leave it in a sheltered area as the window was stuck. We surprised them the next day by showing up when it was raining. Guess what? Car was in the rain with the window down! The GM (same guy from Honda who comments on Unilocal if you’re dissatisfied) said he didn’t have a crystal ball and that we should have bought an extended warranty.
The head of the service department was very slimy and condescending on the phone. «You should of bought the extended warranty if you didn’t want this to happen.» It’s going to take 4 days to get the car back. Extended warranties are useless UNLESS you’re buying from Honda of Oxnard — and they love to rub it in your face. Happy Hondadays hahaha.
UPDATE: Picked up the car. Tint was scraped off. Again not their problem. GM of Honda would not respond to any emails from me.

Overall a positive experience w/​DCH Honda of Oxnard. I purchased car through my bank’s car buying service. I received a reasonable price for the vehicle, and the sales team (TJ and Claudia) did a good job communicating w/​me throughout the process (note, I bought a 2016 Pilot, and had to wait nearly a month for delivery of the car w/​options I wanted, as the inventory was just starting to flow from factory). Additionally, Mike in finance was efficient and to the point, which I like when closing out the paperwork. All in all, a satisfied customer.
