My sister purchased a birthday cake from here, it was super stale, I could not believe what I was tasting, the frosting had a refrigerator taste, the bread was hard and dry, i do not recommend for a birthday cake dont get your hopes up this may be you and will end up with bad remarks from your guests.

Yummy!!! love this place every time I come down to Oxnard I have to go here best bread ever anywhere! I was born here and mostly all my family lives here so when I would come and visit them from Arizona I would have to pass by to get me some of the best Mexican bread around. Thankfully now I live about 3hours away so come more often than I used to!!!

I love this place! The people here are very friendly, the place is very clean. They have the best breads and I really love their pork tamales! A++++ Totally delicious! They also have a cooler with drinks and they make several other authentic Mexican food items. I want to try their Tortas! They look amazing!

5 stars for having delicious goods, and putting up with my «OK but what does THAT one taste like?» every time I see a pastry I haven’t tried yet.

I was debating using the 5, because this is the best panaderia I’ve been to so far, plus the only one I’ve seen that takes credit cards. I’d gotten a galetta, a mantecado, and a cream-filled pan fino. Everything was very good here, although none in a way that really makes me stop and make sure I didn’t just transcend the space-time continuum. Their dough is generally soft, and their cinnamon laces on beautifully. The cream fillings have a great consistency that helps it add to but not overpower the rest of the pastry. The panaderias in Oxnard in a clear step up from the ones closer to me, but Vanessa is still a clear choice.
