my fiancé and I wanted a late night donut and so we can here. The older gentleman was so nice and was very helpful! The $.50 credit card fee is not uncommon for small businesses so that wasn’t even an issue and everything was very decently priced. I’d definitely come back just because of the customer service!

I’ve lived in the area for close to 45-years and I LOVE that they’re «homegrown». Hardworking people who have some OUTSTANDING offerings! A HUGE breakfast croissant sandwich being one of them. I’ve had one of these twice in the past three days. Price is MUCH better than any of the fast food /drive-through joints and is soooooo much more delish! Donuts? Welllll, yummmmmm, too… lol…

Gold standard in cake and old fashioned donuts, especially if you go after midnight and get them fresh. My favorites are the blueberry cake and maple-glazed old fashioned. Mmm.

This is where I get my giant sized simpson donuts! Compared to the Universal Studios Simpson donuts that are literally $ 6+, Spudnuts sells them for $ 3! Spudnuts is like every other donut shop, just gotta know your dough & rolls. If you want a simple dozen box, you can grab yourself a fast to-go service here. My only concern is the area. Sometimes there’s a bum outside waiting to be fed or something, but this is also next door to Subway, behind a gas station, & nearby El Pollo Loco. The outside can be deceiving, but if you’re not too critical about the indoor & just want donuts, this is the spot. I asked the worker if they have the donuts with cereal on top, but they said every Spudnuts is different & have different specials. If you want interesting looking donuts or cereal on your donuts from Spudnuts, I’ve seen it at the one in Newbury Park. They have cronuts here!

I’ve visited to get donuts for my kids before they started their school day and although the donuts are average and the service is good I was quite upset about being charged $.50 for using a credit card I would not recommend this place nor will I ever go back

I would have given 4 – 5 perfection if I’d only had the experience I had the first time, everytime, with what appeared to be the manager/owner lady. She served us great, fresh blueberry doughnut holes. However, upon trying to have a repeat experience I was let down, hard. Not once, but 3x. Most recently, last Sunday October 4th(2015) @12:30 am(just after midnight) & Wednesday night October 7th @ 11pm, when at both times, this business(which claims 24 hrs) was closed down. Smoke break? Again? Seriously man. … and the same white pickup each time. Get it together and don’t waste my time. I was going to get a large order for work and now I just wasted my time again, and $$ money at Ralphs. Thanks for nada.

Bought the apple fritter, cinammon twist, raspberry filled donut, chocolate covered and filled donut bar, and maple glazed donut bar! The apple fritter is my favorite – so glazed and crispy. They were amazing and fresh out the oven. Their products are always fresh and well worth their price! Highly recommend. Will definitely come again.

Simply stated, a great doughnut. The potato flour is key. With that being said… it’s still a doughnut and perhaps not the healthiest choice, and certainly not the breakfast of champions. HOWEVER, I do believe in moderation, so when you get that hankering for a doughnut… this is the place to go… hands down. Your taste buds will thank you.

I wound up stopping in here the other morning on the way to the Channel Islands Marina for the Channel Islands to Marina Del Rey Regatta. It doesn’t look like it could be that great on the outside. Just looks like a little strip mall spot, but once you walk inside, it becomes evident that they have great food! I don’t have much of a taste for sweets these days, so I just had a cake doughnut with chocolate chips on it and a cup of coffee. The coffee was strong and hot, and the doughnut melted in my mouth. I would definitely stop here again. Their breakfast sandwich, which my friend got, and I did not taste, looked GREAT!

They open at 5 but there are NO fresh donuts! Everything there at this time is from the day before. They won’t have any new donuts until 7!

Stopped in Spudnuts to grab 3 dozen donuts for work. I bought 7 of the large donuts, and 2 of the huge filled bars. Oh my they were so good!(I had bites out them, I didn’t eat them all!)

Their natural and fresh squeezed orange juice is delicious. I wish their blueberry scone was heated up, warm. It was still pretty good though!

Not quite 5 starts, but more like 4.5 Stars( Unilocal really needs the ½ star increments). I love spudnuts, love the light donuts made with potato flour. Always have a nice selection of fresh doughnuts, even late at night!

Donuts! I was told to try as the flour has a mix of potato in it… Any excuse really :) Personally, I tasted no difference than any other donut mix, but yum, so good! Especially liked the traditional style maple, with that extra crunch, ooh! And 24 hours? Am glad I don’t live nearby, I would be one tubby Unilocaler: D

I’ll admit, I was super curious to try Spudnut Doughnuts because I heard that they make donuts with potato flour. After passing by several of these locations around the Oxnard area, I Unilocaled them and was surprised to see GIANT donuts that would make Homer Simpson himself drool!(See pictures with a dollar bill for scale). After showing my friends the photos, we made at trip to Spudnut Doughnuts in search for the giant donuts. We ended up getting 2 giant donuts, a croissant with ham & cheese, and a strawberry strudel to sample. Prices were about $ 2.75+ for each giant donut(about $ 8.50 total). Honestly, I didn’t taste potato in the flour, they tasted like regular donuts. The frosting on top cracked as we broke each one apart(maybe too much frosting?). I enjoyed the strudel the most and the croissant with ham and cheese second. Though the ham was sort of lacking and cheese was pre-melted inside. They also sell fresh fruit smoothies, cappuccino machine drinks, bagel sandwiches, and a variety of other baked goods like scones. Bottom line, I would come back again!

I’ve heard from some locals that this place was pretty good, so of course I wanted to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this place was opened 24 hours AND that they had a great selection of donuts, even around 1pm, when many donut places are sold out. My date ordered a GINORMOUS chocolate sprinkle raised donut, which was quite possibly the biggest donut i’ve ever seen in my life(will post a picture soon: D). I ordered a maple sprinkle topped cake donut and a chocolate frosted bavarian cream filled raised donut. Both were PERFECTLY baked, super fresh, and loaded with just the right amount of sweetness. I particularly liked my bavarian cream filled donut, because most of the cream filled donuts that I eat have a very small amount of cream, but this one was LOADED and the cream was perfectly prepared. I was very satisfied with my donuts and I just wish there was a Spudnuts in San Diego so I can enjoy it more often! Next time I’m back in town, I don’t think I’ll be spending my donut money at Rolling Pin anymore :)

So I remember hearing something bout this place. I believe they use potato flour instead of regular flour henceforth the name spudnuts. I have to say that this place donuts it’s business. Get it? Donuts, heh heh… yeah I know stoopid. Anyway back to the review. The people running this shop were way friendly and even hooked it up with a free donut. If you donut know now you know baby babbbyyy! Better right? Yeah I know still goofy. Don’t take my horrible attempts of being funny scare you away. These is a friendly donut shop with a nice twist to a morning staple.
