*This is strictly for the delivery order I made last Sunday.* I ordered spaghetti with meatballs, two margherita pizza slices and the breaded shrimp appetizer. My husband greatly enjoyed his spaghetti and meatball dinner and said that it was even better the next day as leftovers. I had the pizza slices and we split the breaded shrimp. The taste of both items was really good but my slices were pretty burnt on the undersides and in the corners, suggesting that it stayed on the fire a little too long. Also it was the rectangular slices rather than the triangle slices which I didn’t really care for. I love ordering a slice of margherita pizza and folding it in half as it’s my favorite type of pizza. Also the slices seemed too thick to me and it was already lukewarm bordering on cold by the time it got me. Unfortunately, the temperature was the same for the shrimp too. This had to do with delivery being after my given delivery window and I actually had to call the restaurant 10 minutes past my given delivery time just to find out what the ETA was. The driver seemed very nice though. I will try this restaurant once more perhaps as pick up or take out because the food did taste good but was marred by everything I mentioned in this review. That being said, I gave it 3 stars because I feel that it was on par with my first experience ordering from the place.

Delivery was horrible. Customer service wasn’t any better. Let’s not start on the pizza quality. Like rubber !!

Ozone is decent pizza at best. Service is terrible. Took over an hour to get our pizza and it was for pick up. They told us 20 minutes, and an hour later I was still feeding the meter. Then there only explanation was«they got backed up and miss gauged how long it would take.» It was pretty ridiculous.

Best sicilian pizza in Queens! Seriously! I’m not joking. I love their regular slice too. They put onions in the sauce. It’s delicious and cheesy! Garlic sticks are also very good with a side of marinara. Stick to the pizza and sticks here and you will enjoy yourself!

OK You want a review. I remember this place when a slice was 15 cents. The owners Paul and Joe became friends of mine throughout the years. I was taught how to make their Sicilian pizza. Paul taught me. I now live in Florida and make it all the time. Whenever I come to new York I call my brother and tell him to pick me up a Veal Parm hero. Its the best .God I miss this pizza place .but I will never forget the memories of going there every night to cure the munchies from our parting days in the 70s.

I’m a huge pizza fan and I have been eating at this place for over twenty years. My dad worked at this place at one point and still eats there to this day. The food is absolutely amazing, enough to cover the lackluster décor and lukewarm service. Delivery is OK but calling ahead and carrying out is your best bet. They don’t always make mistakes but the are better than most places here, way better then the chain places. The place is mostly clean and small and can be crowded, but I have eaten here only once or twice, I’d rather eat my pizza at home. The price is OK but for authentic New York pizza that is what your paying for. The sauce to crust ratio is good and the cheese is the perfect amount. Very rarely do you see sauce permeating the cheese. The crust does leave something to be desiring, rarely being burnt. The foldability on a slice is 5/5, which is essential. Sure this place isn’t perfect but its one of the last strongholds of real New York pizza.

Pizza is pretty good. Their upside down Sicilian is my favorite slice here. Love their garlic sticks as well. Never had much else, since I found what I like. My bf likes the Buffalo chicken slice. Ozone Pizzeria is right downstairs from the A train at Rockaway Blvd, close to many buses as well. This is one of 3 pizza places in the area I like.

So I go to them because they are pretty decent but seriously beware if you order delivery. Everything will be extremely cold and need to be re heated. This was seriously disgusting the way the guy who took my order was nasty and rude. Then sent me a pie with no cheese on it because it was cold and all shifted to one side of the box. The pasta(penne) he sent was dry no sauce after specifically asking for ziti with chicken francese and sauce. They suck just think twice before delivery ordering. This is the 3rd time this has happened. Last time it was cold and raw. Nice

Simply put you cannot beat this place for a Sicilian pizza, its been there for as long as I can remember, they deliver and the guys are always friendly. I’ve never had their regular pizza because New Park blows anything I’ve ever had out of the water for a regular pie but for Sicilian this is my go to!

I should begin by saying that I live very close to Ozone Pizza and I am there almost twice a week grabbing a slice before I head to school or late at night when I’m heading home. It is so conveniently close to the train station that I stop by when there isn’t anything better to eat. This place is very dingy and old, you do not want to dine on their tables. Take your pizza and go home! With their dining area in such condition, one should be scorned from considering this place as an option. But hey, many still swear by their pizza. Like I said, I can grab a slice and run upstairs to get the train in about 5 minutes, my only reason. There is a Papa Johns closeby so my younger sister and I picked up a box of cheese sticks. We wanted a slice of pizza too but didn’t want an entire box, so we decided to get one from Ozone Pizza. Their ceasar salad slice isn’t to die for, but it’s filling. They add way too much ingredient on EVERYTHING that they make which makes it hard to enjoy their food. You know that sick disgusting feeling you get after eating a meal with too much grease and cheese that you begin to feel like you’ve swallowed your whole meal without chewing? Well, that’s what it feels like to eat their slices. So we ordered one ceasar salad slice TOGO. The entire time there the staff(about 4 – 5 men) interrogated us for having a box from Papa Johns. At first I thought they were joking, but boy did that table turn quick! It is cold outside, so my younger sister asked me to eat there. I didn’t want to because as I’ve said their dining area is just disgusting. But I still asked one of the men, let’s call him ‘Bob’, if it would be a huge deal if we ate our slice and Papa Johns there. The entire staff jumped down my throat. They explained that it would be wrong, their boss wouldn’t allow it, and said that next time I should let them make the cheese sticks and then I would be allowed to eat there. Although I purchased from Ozone Pizza, I was barred from eating there. ‘Bob’ and his disrespectful tone added, «you’re cute and everything but no». This last response completely ticked me off. I have my younger sister with me, that was so unnecessary. I asked for a refund right away and my slice was taken away without hesitation and my money given back to me. No apologies, no exceptions. Ozone Pizza will make you sick to your stomach after one slice. If you’re the type of person that likes feeling heavy, bloated and clogged then by all means. If you don’t believe me I urge you to try their food and tell me if you dont feel the same way. Honestly the best thing at their spot is the cherry kool-aid, so yummy! I will not be eating from Ozone Pizza ever again because I strongly believe that ‘Bob’ was either the owner or an important figure to Ozone Pizza. The hate for Papa Johns and fellow customers is real! My younger sister says that Papa John’s cheese sticks tasted way better than anything that Ozone Pizza would throw together.

I’ve been a loyal customer of ozone pizza for 10+ years now and this update of my original review is solely for the delivery. While the pizza is a 10 and the only pizzeria I support on a regular basis; their delivery has become a nuisance! I’ve ordered at least 8 pies in the last couple of months and each pie took nearly 2 hours to arrive! Needless to say they were cold and hard as a rock by the time they got here! The new delivery guy,(I won’t mention his name) is a bit of a grump too. When I called to complain about this, they blamed it on ordering through the Seamless app. I’ve used both Seamless and regular old fashioned phone calls to order– they were equally slow on delivery both ways. Get it together guys! You don’t want to start losing customers.

Man this pace looks ghetto. Located right under the train, at a glance you wouldn’t expect to find that Ozone Pizzeria has been open since 1964. Place doesn’t look old, just looks dirty. However the ratings on here had to be high for a reason so I went to check it out. The counter staff was very nice and made my slice well done as requested. There were also a few people waiting at all times, which meant the slice turnover was good. Walking out with the pizza, it was heavy on the cheese but what little sauce I tasted was pretty good. The crust had more character than it looked like it would. It was a little on the pale side but with good rise. The cheese also had caramelized along the edges which was an added treat. This was an enjoyable slice of pizza that’s better than what I have available in my neighborhood. Not worth traveling for, but definitely worth a try if you’re nearby!

I been in the neighbor hood for 13 yrs + and the consistency of there pizza and Sicilian pies and most menu items still have that yummy in my tummy taste. If your in the mood for a Sicilian«grandma style» is the best bet, it’s one of my favorite Sicilians on the menu here at ozone pizza!!! And if you like to add on the dough order a side or 2 of garlic twist & marinara sauce its o.m.g. Some of the best stuff I ever had eaten and I say a hand full of good pizza shops I know, ozone is the only place that I know of that does these twisty garlicky dough in a order comes 6 pieces. They also have a delicious variety of items on the menu such as beef patties, chicken wings, chicken & meatball Parmesan hero’s, rice balls, mozzarella sticks to name a few. I would of gave ozone pizza 5 stars but I gave it 4 stars because sometimes when I order for delivery, delivery can take forever ahhhh but sometimes I’ll phone order and pick up or just go in person and order, it’s faster in my opinion. Ozone pizza is between 96&97 streets on liberty avenue To get here you can gps the address or if your a local you know where to go. Mass transportation you can take the A train and get off on Rockaway blvd Manhattan bound side you would have be in the last train car and go down and ozone pizza is on your left hand side on the block closet to 97th street, and if your on the A train queens bound you have to be in the first train car. You can also take the Q11, Q21,Q53 buses and get off liberty avenue.
