K.R.G. Construction (Ken and Rick Gierloff Construction Co.) was founded in 1969. In 1988 the Gierloffs incorporated as Cypress Builders, named after the lone cypress tree of Big Sur National Park to symbolize the strength and individualism the Gierloff’s have built their company on. Over decades of building quality room additions and ethical business practices, Cypress Builders has earned a reputation centered on the best possible advertising — word of mouth!
