Comcast Service Center

Comcast is the worst internet service in the area. In fact, it went out while I was writing this review. Stay away.

Worst customer service ever. How this company stays in business is beyond me. Spend $ 300 a month with them and they don’t stand behind their service and want to fix it baffles me.

This is by far one of the worst companies to contract. Customer service is awful. Training is awful. Billing dept is shady and our bill fluctuates and no one seems to know why.
Every call takes nearly one hour
Internet drops frequently
They blatantly lie when they don’t know what the issue is. At one point they told me their service had no issues and I had to rewrite my entire home yet my neighbor had the same issue.
I lived in another home that I rented and when they went to install for my tenant they told her I cut all the wires when I moved out and charged her $ 120 to retire. That was a total scam for the contractor to bill more money.

This local Comcast sucks.
My internet was going offline ever single day and the Comcast person said it was because of my modem that I bought at Best Buy.
We need uninterrupted service to work from our home.
Anyhow we decided to get their modem because they said this would never happen again, well this is day 3 with their modem and has been offline for several hours all 3 days.
I am so tired of calling them every day.
Very frustrating.

Deanna was my customer service representative and I have to say she was kind, friendly, helpful, courteous and a pure pleasure.
I witnessed the same treatment to each and every person she served before me, a true professional whom you should be proud to have on your staff, it’s difficult to teach what she possess.

I had Comcast come out 5 times in attempt to fix internet. I forgot what quality internet service feels like! It should be illegal for them to charge money for this! The amount of time and money i wasted with them. They are really nice on the phone and their technicians are very nice too, but NOTHING will compensate for inadequate network infrastructure!

I know this is going to sound crazy but the customer service rep at the palm beach gardens location was super to deal with and actually help me get the best deal on my cable and internet package.
Everyone is bashing Comcast and rightfully so their management just sucks. But 1 rep made a difference today. Maybe they should promote her to management so she could teach those idiots how to help customers.

I had the misfortune to their multi-​dwelling department in an attempt to setup new service. I have been waiting for over 50 minutes and I am still waiting. I used to think the comments about Comcast’s poor customer service was exaggerated but I have been proven wrong. These people are crazy!!!

I scheduled an appointment with Comcast 10 days ahead of time to repair sporadic internet service. I confirmed the appointment for between 8 and 10 AM the day before. I contacted Comcast at 10:30 AM on the scheduled day when no one showed up. Comcast told me that the technician could not contact me to confirm the appointment. I was waiting by the phone all morning. Comcast then realized that they communicated the wrong phone number to the technician. I have had this same phone number for over 20 years. Comcast rescheduled the service call, but would not commit to a time, so I had to take the rest of the day off and to wait all day by the phone. At 5 PM I called Comcast again because I had not been contacted and they said I was still scheduled. At 5:30Concast (Annette) called and said the technician was running late and would not be free until 7 PM, but II could reschedule for the next day between 10 AM and noon. I told Annette that I waited all day for this appointment and want it completed today. Annette then told me that if I was by the phone in the morning and answered it the appointment would have already been completed.
Nothing could have made me more irate than for me to be put at blame for this incompetent service and abrasive attitude. I called Comcast and complained, but suspect that it will go nowhere. This poor service and behavior is consistent with many years of service with Comcast. I think it is time to spread the news of poor service by Comcast over social media and cancel my cable, phone, internet, and security. There are other options.

WORST SERVICE EVER! First… I make the appt for a Wed between 5 – 7. They send a tech out between 3 – 5. I call and complain, they tell me they will OVERNIGHT me the box free of charge and waive the self installation fee. I DID NOT get the box the next day, they sent it 2^nd day AND the box is faulty. Message on screen says «NOT AUTHORIZED FOR USE». I call cusomer service, they send a few signals to the box. Same message keep appearing so the rep tells me I have one of two choices… either pick up another box at no charge from one of their locations or wait for a tech. WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR THE SHIPPING FEE WHEN THEY SENT ME A FAULTY BOX??? AND WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE TECH TO COME OUT BECAUSE THEY CAN’T GET THEIR SHIT TOGETHER??? I asked to escalate and speak to a manager, I was told the manager could not be found… meanwhile I was not even put on hold. THIS SERVICE SUCKS!!!

Worst service ever!!! The tech rep was unprofessional and rude in resolving why the Internet kept stopping.
My solution: Get another internet carrier if you have the option in your area!!!

Horrible. Just horrible. Automated message after automated message. I hate comcast they have literally caused my life so much stress.

Why does Comcast continue to frustrate their customers and waste their corporate money by forcing their customers to return the Entire DTA units (the small remote control boxes they forced all of us to put on our TV’s), when the most common deffective part is the remote control eye receiver? The trouble, and time to the customer, and then the unecessary additional shipping weight cost to un-​rig and re-​rig a DTA unit, then ship it back (Comcast pays for the UPS shipping) is ridiculous. What a waste of time, frustration and company dollars. WAKE UP COMCAST! You boast you want to give good service, but this is a terrible customer experience! Train your customer service reps to allow return of a single defective part on the DTA, especially when you know that you’re handing out defective remote conrol (‘eye) receivers!!!
