History

Established in 1981.

Edward Beiner came to South Florida from Brazil after making career stops in Puerto Rico, Europe and Canada. Bringing with him a background in retail, Edward Beiner was well prepared when he created his optical business and opened his first store in South Miami some 30 years ago. Today Edward Beiner is comprised of the finest optical retail stores and services, and an influential eyewear design practice. Mr. Beiner and his business partner Guido Balocco met in the early 90s along the catwalk of a fashion show in Milano, Italy. In 2001 Mr. Balocco, joined Edward Beiner as a partner and board member. In the last ten years, he has had an enormous impact on accounting, forecasting and financial controls and has been instrumental in the chains expansion.
