I have visited this store many times over my many years as resident of Palm Desert. Never once have they acknowledged me tho I have been in there so many times. I have never in all my experience as a customer with a background of retail business, felt so unwelcome and they did not need my business($$$). I bought an expensive wallet and another small item today. Nobody was interested and I had to thank them for deigning to take my money. No thank you’s au contraire had to thank them for taking my money. They took no interest in me as a paying customer and it does not feel very pleasant to see this attitude when there are so many alternatives for shopping. I do not know how they stay in business doing things the way they do. I have been trying to see if it was me who was wrong but today clinched my original thought they are just apathetic. There was a woman behind the counter eating noodles when I needed assistance. She never looked up at me. That is the last time I will spend my hard earned money there.

Expensive repairs, bad attitude, not going there again. 45 $ to replace EACH wheel on my travelpro paid for in advance, AND a refundable $ 15 fee if you pick up within 7 days; otherwise the $ 15 is for mailing directly to you. The owner has a bad attitude and seems to only want to sell his overpriced luggage.

Not a good place to shop! I had a return on a top line luggage and needed a repair. The owner and staff were rude and argumentative. The zipper was broken and they couldn’t repair. Expensive lesson for me to learn not to purchase luggage from this place, now my money is «in the bag» and I am left with a defective bag.

What a find!!! This shop is a cross-breed of REI, Travel Smith & Sharper Image! Never ever been in a shop with anywhere near the knowledge, selection or staff. Call ahead for their schedule of travel classes– these guys are Travel Genius’s!

Excellent selection of all kinds of luggage and many useful accessories for travel such as waterproof pouches for electronics, locks, passport cases, money belts, power adapters. Also good for repairs. Fixed my combination lock on a briefcase.

Great supply of virtually everything you’ll need before any trip big or small. The locale is hidden in a shopping plaza but once you find it it’ll be a pleasant surprise. The knowledgeable staff are very helpful is any needs. From luggage, security locks, compasses to necessary power adapters for every international country. Locally owned makes this store more personalized in service. The only reason i knock off one star is thr price. Most of their things can be found online at a cheaper price but the convenience of having it available with the addition of travel experts make it worth the price. The we’re even quick to finding out the power voltage of the country I was traveling to as well as the allowable luggage allowed for my specific airline. I’ve been here several times because it is nice having everything in one place if you love to travel and you will too.
