Beautiful shop on beautiful El Paseo with an exceedingly helpful and attentive tobacconist on hand to answer all my questions. Will definitely be coming back!

Great little spot right on the main drag of El Paseo.
Guys who were working there were very friendly and helpful.
I have seen other reviews complaining of the prices and having to make a minimum purchase in the lounge. Honestly the prices are pretty good for such a clean and well stocked shop. The lounge is very nice, with a huge big screen, great ventilation, comfortable chairs, and from the guys i met, a pretty cool clientele.
All in all a great place to purchase some nice cigars, and relax while the SO spends your money on El Paseo.

Sorry have to do it. I get you are on one of the most exclusive shopping streets in the USA but 75% markup is ridic. Went into shop today for what was my 1^st and last time. A new cigar by Room 101, Johnny Tobacconut, which i purchased in LA for 9.99 was 16.20. Their Davidoff’s are 5 to 10 higher than anyone else, the prices on basic stuff like LFD and Perdomo was 25−30% higher. Sorry wanted to give you some biz after spending $ at Falto and Fame this weekend but just couldn’t do it. Clearly you have a high end clientele cause how else can you keep the doors open… it aint the $ you collecting on that tiny ass private closet. One last thing no need to follow me in the humidor and stay til i am done… ive been smoking for years and need no assistance. Once i told you that you should have backed off… another reason why i did not buy… aint nobody trying to steal from you.

Nice little tobacco shop on the trendy EL PASEO. Good Selection of cigars and a small smoking lounge with TV. They have a very good selection of pipes, lighters and accessories. Their pipe tobacco selection is a little weak. but if you are in the desert and need a smoke, stop in! Nice helpful guys.

Friendly, super selection. They even have the Fuente SIglo. Nice comfy cigar room and wonderful humidor. Really nice cigar shop.

Top of it he watch me like a thief… he over me a cheap ocigar on top the counter… look like 10 year old.
I just joke how I like my cigar… no coment!

Ok, not the «best cigar shop in all of Southern California», but it’s one of the top 20 cigar shops in Southern California.

No real smoking area
Pipes are a about 15% more there than other smoke shops
They favor the regulars, but don’t push for new customers
My first time I went I wandered around for about 10 mins before being helped because a football game was on and all of the regulars are clumped near the entrance where the TV is. If only it were just a little bit bigger or if they utilized the back room as a smoking lounge cause noone really goes back there…
When I’m in the Desert I like to stop by and grab a cigar, but at the same time I don’t mind stopping at Total Wine & More and grabbing a scotch to go with the cigars they have there, it’s an actual walk in humidor there not like Bevmo… but that’s for another review.
This place is still worth a stop, then you can walk down the main street and puff on a R&J or something from the Bradley Collection, then grab some grub from a number of eating establishments you walk by.

Arrived in town for vacation forgot my cigars at home. Went to Palm Desert Tobacco after reading a few Unilocal reviews, I am no cigar expert and I always worry about being over charged for crappy cigars when going to a cigar shop I don’t know about, This place was great. Very friendly, large selection and gave me great advice on some cigars that were in my price range. They have something for everyone from your high end to your every day smokes at reasonable prices. I will be going back the next time I am in town.

I know whatever type of cigar I need I will find it at PDT: A great smoke to celebrate something, a bunch of smokes to have for the golf course, or a quick smoke to get me home.

Palm Desert Tobacco is always helpful and has a great variety of cigars. My husband loves to come to the tasting gatherings. They are always helpful to me when picking out a good cigar for my husband when I want to surprise him with a «treat»

Palm Desert Tobacco is a top shelf smoke shop. Cigar’s, tobacco, pipe’s, lighter’s, a good selection of brands and an awesome selection of humidors. Their location is primo directly across from Tommy Bahama’s on the corner of El Paseo. Stop in while your wife shops then meet her up at Tommy Bahama’s for Happy Hour. It’s how we roll.

Palm Desert Tobacco is by far one of the better cigar stores i have ever been in. This place is loaded with top shelf smokes and your everyday cigars for you and your buddies. Their selection of Padron and Davidoff is insane. The staff is beyond helpful and do not mind giving you advice or giving you background of the smokes they offer. To me that makes the experience enjoyable. Most Cigar shops do not give you the time of day, while this crew makes it a priority.
I will be back in the desert this weekend for a golf trip and this will be stop #1

Bert treated me like an old friend. As a fan of Ashtons he introduced me to the extremely smooth line of Ashton Cabinet and told me how to cut each of the three I bought. I will be back.
