History

Established in 2014.

After a career in the military and private security, I found myself in a very bitter child custody battle for my oldest daughter. Fortunately, I had a great lawyer, and I was successful in getting custody. That experience taught me that there were other ways to protect people than with a gun or body armor. I changed careers and went to law school, always with the intent of working in family law.

Now, after law school, working as a law clerk, and talking to lots of people who have been through the process, I have learned that many people get stuck in family court with no legal representation. In such an environment, they can’t protect their own rights, their property, or, most importantly, their children. That’s why I have resolved to provide the best family law representation and counsel possible, for lower hourly costs than most other attorneys in Southern California. My life, as it was in the Army, is still about service to and aiding others, not money.

Business Owner

Born and raised in California, I grew up in Palm Springs, went to college at UCSB, and later worked odd jobs around Los Angeles. In March 2000, being somewhat lost for purpose and direction in my life, I enlisted in the U.S. Army as an infantry paratrooper. It was one of the best decisions of my life.

When I got out of the Army, I returned to California and began working in the field of government security and later transitioned to private security working as a bodyguard for a prominent Southern California businessman. In 2008, after extensive legal battles for custody of my then-​only daughter, I decided to go to law school and pursue a career in family law representation.

I am now married with three great kids, and I am excited to be working as a family law attorney, helping people protect their rights and their children from being lost in or run over by a fast-​paced and complicated court system.
