The UPS Store

Stopped by to ship a return envelope with a shipping labor already printed from the company. One person working. Granted it was Christmas Eve so all packages should have been out but there was still a line. Finally made it to counter and was informed I had to purchase an envelope to ship my papers via UPS. Really? Also find it odd that the UPS store lets the employee wear a t-​shirt and gym shorts. Not how I would want my brand represented.

I have had nothing but amazing service here. The only time I had to wait it was because a snowbird brought in all sorts of odd stuff and grapefruit (!!) to ship to friends and back home. They can’t help who comes in though. I will continue to patronize them for their helpful service. Go early when they are usually not busy.

Top notch. Came in with a bunch of stuff that needed to be shipped back home. The guy behind the counter was super helpful and efficient. I was expecting a long process but we got the shipping info from me then took all my stuff, packaged and shipped it. I was in and out in less than 5 mins. Great experience.

I am disappointed in the reviews for this store. I love going there! Guy, Sammy, and Linda always make it a very pleasant visit. Service there is great. They are the tops!

I’m shocked by the horrible reviews that are posted here. I have used this UPS store many times over the years and have never experienced anything short of good service. I have used their mailing services, LiveScan fingerprinting service and today I went in to have some documents notarized. I was greeted upon entering, served promptly and courteously and was on my way in just a few minutes. Don’t let the bad reviews discourage you, as people who have had a bad experience are far more likely to comment than those who receive the service they expect.

Horrible location — customer service and follow through is non-​existent. Parents paid store personnel to package and ship an item to me in Northern California in April. Item came damaged due to incorrect packing. As of middle of June, no resolution of payment for damaged goods. Store manager has told me repeatedly they are waiting for insurance check before they reimburse me. Incredible since they are the reason the package came damaged. Do not use this location — you will be sorely disappointed.

I needed to ship out a package again and this store exceeded my expiations again they always say hello and even gave me information on a store close by. they went out of ther3e way and printed out the directions for me and everything. Igive them great acclaim for there customer service. great job:)

I have been calling this store for over an hour and the line is busy!

I’m a huge UPS fan, but something is clearly wrong at this location based on my experience and the other reviews. I checked UPS website for location hours. Completely arranged my schedule to only find them closed despite their posted hours. What a disrespectful waste of my time.

I had the worst experience at this location. I only went there because my mother raves about how helpful her Cathedral City location is. When I walked in, the men were not friendly, approachable or helpful. I wrote the address down, they transposed the zip code, and my mail never got to its intended location. I called twice and tried to talk to the manager and they never called me back. The person who answered the phone could not tell me where mail was, or when it would be coming back. He was equally as unhelpful and unfriendly as when I was in the store. Ended up going to FedEx (kinkos palm desert location) and received exceptional service by Nathan an Brittani. #neveragin #upsstore #ups

Stopped into this UPS store to mail a small package. It could not be sent UPS because it was to a PO Box so I sent it US Mail. Sent the package first class mail with delivery confirmation. 8 business days later, the postal service says they have no record of my tracking number. I called this UPS store and spoke to a British man who literally told me I was STUPID for not sending the package UPS. His exact words were: Don’t you think it was stupid of you to send something of value through the mail? Hmmmm. Well, I had NO choice but to send it US mail — it has always worked in the past. But what kind of complete and total ASSHOLE calls a customer STUPID? Oh you can bet I am going to write about this place on every website I can find. I use a UPS store quite often — but will never set foot inside this one again. I think UPS would like to know what kind of jerks they hire in their store. The man who waited on me the day I mailed the package was very pleasant — but THE BRITISH GUY IS A PIG. He wasn’t the least bit helpful — except to call me stupid, of course. That helped a lot.
P. S. I did file a claim with the US Postal Service, so hopefully all is not lost.
