Nice place, very clean, Kevin was nail tech that did a great job on my fill — would return! (altho I have to give their soft rock music station a one star, would prefer a more up-​to-​date music choice)

On Saturday, 5/​28, myself and 3 other women/​girls were getting services at Vinny’s Nails. I got gels to match my toe nail color and man I’m never going back! This was my first time here and came on the recommendation one of of the girls in our group. 3 days later, on Tuesday, 5/​31, the gels peeled right off like a sticker from my index and thumb on my right hand. I thought, did she not put my hand in the light box after the initial base coat? I don’t remember because mid base coat, she left me to do someone else’s hands! Maybe that is the problem? Anyway as, this sucks, it’s 2 weeks before the next time I’m going to get my nails done; so now I’m forced to have a horrible nail job and either pay more to have the touch ups or just live with it until next appointment at my regular place! Well it’s now Thursday, ⁶⁄₂ and the middle finger on my left hand started to peel and I pulled that one off cuz it was bothering me! My hair would get stuck between the cuticle area where the gel was lifting. Within 3 days 2 of my nails were ruined and within 5 days 3 nails total are ruined! This was not a quality nail job and it was not inexpensive! If you want quality, Vinny’s ain’t it! Or just don’t go in a group cuz they don’t work well under the pressure of being busy at 11 am on a Saturday.

Nothing to cry home about. Kevin did my nails and he did a decent job. Paid $ 34 for mani-​pedi. Not cheap but not expensive. They could turn the fan on to air out the salon, there were a lot of ladies doing shellac or fake nails because chemical smell was pretty strong.

I came here for the first time yesterday for a manicure, decided to get an acrylic base with gel on top. They came out nice, but the acrylics are all uneven and don’t match in length on either hand. It’s only noticeable when you get a good look but it still bothers me that for $ 35 they could have been done better. Also, when she was filing down the acrylics with the auto nail file, she kept cutting into my cuticles and burned/​cut through my skin!!! They still hurt a day later! I would give this place 5 stars if my nails came out right and without the attack on my cuticles.

Friendly, but the older guy who did my fingernails went ahead, after I asked him not to, and did a lot of cuticle cutting. He started with pushing my cuticles back, but I’ve had better attempts with this at other salons. Then he told me he’d snip just a bit, but it ended up being so much that now my skin is peeling back with all the annoyances that come with peeling skin.
Another fellow did my pedicure and that has had better results.

Vinny and Jenny are the best in the valley. I’ve been getting my nails done in the desert for over a decade, and no other place has even come close. Vinny and Jenny both do the BEST pink and white nails you will find out here.

I’ve had Vinny, Tina and Tony do my nails and they all do an amazing job. I started coming here about 6 months ago, after struggling to find someone that did a good job. I always get acrylic nails with gel polish. my nails always look beautiful when I leave. They also are very accommodating. I’m always so busy with work that i get off, drive over and walk in and the always take care of me promptly. lol I’m very happy to have found this place! I highly recommend this salon! Jenny is awesome! I have been getting acrylic /​gel for years now, and I have not loved my nails this much. Every visit for me has been great! Jenny, Tina, and Don ect. Every staff member is experienced, gentle, and super friendly! I definitely recommend Vinny Nails!

I’ve been too many times hoping for something different. Perhaps if I got gel nails or acrylics — something pricier — I would have been given a better manicure. But, for a basic manicure go some place else. I asked for square shape and they gave me something in between round and oval. They hacked away at my cuticles, making my index finger bleed. They painted over my cuticles and didn’t even offer a massage. Never again.

I have come here the past few years when I am in town for the season, today reminded me why I don’t come here anymore. The manicurist who did my nails took enough cuticle off, 3 of my nails began to bleed, IT HuRTs!!! She continued and spray alcohol as though it wouldn’t sting, even after I made it very apparent that she had hacked away at my cuticle, is she nuts! I hope their tools are truly clean I will be pissed if I get an infection. I get a mani every week so there is no reason to have clipped away that much. Not too mention the polish job was horrible and went home and applied my own top coat in hopes that it would make it look better.
Their overprice and I got overcharged. I had 2 kids with me and they charged me full price (adult) when it said on the menu they gave me 12 and under $ 25.

My mom and I were in the area visiting and decided we needed pedicures. Called them up and they fitted us in right away. Very clean and did an amazing job. I would totally go here again.

Walked in on a Friday around 12:30 wanting a pedicure for my daughter and myself while vacationing here in palms springs. It was pretty busy but was able to be seated right away! ADD FIRST STAR
I Had gel on my toes and Kevin who was giving me a pedicure used the electric tool to scrape it off. I asked him if he could use acetone to remove it. I guess he didn’t hear me initially because he did look up when i asked him if he could just use acetone instead of the tool. The second time I asked him, he just smiled and said «we use tool.» REMOVE FIRST STAR
They had the gel color that I wanted. ADD FIRST STAR BACK.
The salon was clean enough. Floors clean and chairs in nice condition. ADD SECOND STAR
Jenny did a nice job on my daughters toenails. She had a stubbed toenail and the lady who did her pedicure made sure to bed gentle with her — THANK YOU! ADD THIRD STAR
Kevin did a good job on my gel pedicure. Besides the gel, I opted for a basic pedicure and that is pretty much what I got. It wasn’t bad at all yet at the same time there was nothing spectacular about it either. He gave a quick massage on my legs and quickly used the hot stone on them. He finished the pedicure with a warm towel.
All in all a nice enough salon that was able to accommodate my daughter and I quickly before heading back to hang out at the pool at the resort!

I am so impressed. Don took his time and asked questions to make sure he got my nails right. Im seriously never satisfied with my nail experience but here i left very happy! Thank you Vinnys nails. I will be back!

Really 3.5, but I’m being generous.
I made an appointment for 6p, and yes, they close @ 7. Needed a gel take off and redo and pedi. I’ve tried a few places in the valley that have been pretty bad. So I was hoping by the reviews of this place, I could give it 5 stars. Walked in and was seated right away. Picked out my color, white and told them I was getting a French gel Mani. Tons of great colors tho!
Michael, super nice and very professional, does my pedi. I opted for the $ 32 pedi with scrub and mask, although the $ 22 basic probably woulda been just fine. I think both come with the hot stone massage mmm.
Kevin did my Mani ($ 37, French gel). He proceeded to take off my gel with the tool instead of pure acetone. I asked him for the acetone, which he gave me but still used the tool. Annoyed. Then while cutting my cuticles he cut me! There was blood! I asked him to fix it, he did. On to the polish… Doesn’t look bad from far away, but the lines on the tip are a tad uneven. I’m wondering if he was in a rush or more interested in flirting with the cute, young nail tech. When done, he says, ok you can go now lol. It was too funny but not cool. I get it, it was 7p on a Friday… But Sheesh!
I’ll probably go back just for Michael. Another tech, Ann was nice too. Wish I could truly give this 4 stars, even 5, but alas… Scrapped nails, blood and funky lines make it impossible.

Jenny has such a good eye, she can replicate very well. She makes sure you’re comfortable with her work very precise and takes her time. Great personality and fairly well selection of color and cozy ambiance.

Jenny Is The Best. I’ve Gotten White Gel Before by other nail techs, There always seems to be imperfections, streaks or bumps. But Jenny has perfected it for me! I highly recommend her.

Been coming here for years. Very relaxing, not too expensive and they don’t try and up sale which is refreshing. The deluxe spa pedicure with the hot rock message is amazing!

The technician who did my nails was very nice but I wasn’t happy with the quality of the work. 3o dollars for a gel mani is more than reasonable if your nails come out good but mine were sloppily done. I have so much polish on my cuticles, and of course that is going to be more likely to snag and come off meaning this manicure has a shelf life of a few days. Would def recommend going elsewhere.

Another masterpiece by Jenny… Nails and eyelash extensions today! I use to drive all the way to Orange Country for my beauty needs but not anymore!
