Escape Resort

Escape Resort is a perfect get away. It is so clean and has an absolutely beautiful pool area. Employees,; Willian and John H (couple of hotties) are the nicest staff in Palm Springs! :) They always making sure you are taken care of and have what you need to make your stay awesome.
It is GAY owned and operated by a couple, Mark and Greg. They are so accommodating and wonderful. They know what gay men want in a resort. The price is not bad and worth every penny,
Note: It’s not a druggie — twink — mean gurl environment, which is wonderful and makes the environment so comfortable. There is no drama — just relaxation, Fun, Sun and great service. I always find the guests at Escape the most friendliest of all of the resorts.

I have just returned this past week to Escape after being absent for 3 years since I’ve been using vacation time for weddings funerals and family gatherings. I’m glad I had time this year and I knew Escape Resort was where I needed to go. So calm and relaxing. The hospitality provided by guest attendant William Branton really makes me feel pampered. I will definitely make a vacation to Escape and annual event going forward.

My partner and I decided to take an impromptu trip to Palm Springs. It was our first time staying at a place like Escape. We were concerned that we might end up at a bathhouse, not a tasteful men’s resort. Thankfully our fears were thrown out as soon as we walked in! The grounds are very well maintained and the rooms are even more attractive than the pictures show online. We never once felt uncomfortable during our stay. Willian was very gracious and informative. We feel that we would have not had such an amazing experience if we stayed at any other property in the area. I highly recommend Escape Palm Springs!

I never leave reviews on Unilocal for anything but Escape resort definitely deserves this amazing review. My boyfriend and I checked in on a Friday and from the very beginning of the stay we felt comfortable and relaxed. The resort is very clean, cleaner than a few large chain resorts I’ve stayed at. Willian was by far the highlight of the resort. His friendly personality made the resort a perfect home away from home. We will definitely be back soon

I love this place. Nice and mellow, the other guests have always been friendly, and there’s always some new upgrade every time I visit. The owners and staff make it seem like you are their most important guest. I was greeted this time by Willian, and was graciously shown to my room and he took the time to make sure I knew all of the amenities available to me. That is consistent with my previous visits, which is one of my favorite things about Escape – you can count on a great experience.

This was my second visit to Escape in about 3 months and once again I was thrilled with the friendly, outgoing attitude of the staff. Willian in particular is a shining star and it was nice to see him hard at work again this visit. It’s an older property but well-​maintained and with some modern updates such as newer bedding and furniture to make it feel very comfortable. I do appreciate the social hour on Friday and Saturday nights and we were able to take advantage of this amenity as well. A nice time to meet the other guests as well as the friendly staff. The pool area is beautiful and the temperature was refreshing. The only thing I would change is I thought the hot tub was a bit too hot, but it was nice on the one cool evening after we got back from dinner. Can’t wait to go back again and introduce other friends to what feels like Palm Springs’ best secret getaway!

My partner and I stayed at Escape for three nights in mid-​May, and beginning when co-​owner Mark greeted us at the front gate for check-​in, every one on staff that we encountered at Escape was friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful time.
As you read further, keep in mind that we will definitely stay at Escape again for our next visit to Palm Springs. But, we have a few suggestions that could make the next experience even better.
Our room was spotless and cheery … all white and bright. Even the floor felt clean under our bare feet each time we returned from the pool. The linens on the bed and in the bathroom smelled fresh, the towels were fluffy, and large enough to use at the pool … but that wasn’t necessary because Escape supplies even larger towels for use on the outdoor lounge chairs.
The landscaping is beautiful … well, all except for the dead plant in the pot on the patio outside our room. Yes, each room has its own small patio, complete with table and chairs. The pool is sparkling clean, the lounge chairs are comfortable, and the hot tub is clean and beautifully tiled. There’s a need for more shaded areas because the desert sun is just too intense for lounging around the pool for an extended time; the few umbrellas are just not enough. We’d suggest a retractable canvas canopy along the entire row of lounge chairs on the north wall.
Escape offers a free daily continental breakfast … a large selection of breads, fruits, juices, cereals … and very good coffee. At one lunchtime we took advantage of the food delivery service offered from a local restaurant. It was delicious, nicely priced, and the boxes were even tied with a fancy ribbon. Great service.
So why not five stars? I’m guessing the building dates from the mid-​20^th century, when hotels were kinda small, so while the bedroom was spacious, the bathroom was small and the shower was even smaller … extremely small. Because of the bathroom size there was no space for a flat counter area to lay out toiletries, so all of our personal items had to remain in the bedroom. There was a very small glass shelf mounted on the wall in the bathroom, but it’s so curved and slanted that anything we placed on it just slid off the end (design-​over-​function ??). Obviously, nothing but a complete rebuild of the building can correct something like this, but that would destroy the obvious charm of the place.
So, again, we had a very enjoyable stay at Escape, and would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends.

My partner and I recently visited Palm Springs. We found Escape online and decided to stay there because of the wonderful reviews. First of all I have to say, that as soon as we walked in we were greeted with the warmest smile from an employee named Willian. As we checked in, he let us know that if there was anything we needed, he would be more than happy to help make our stay a comfortable and memorable one. The weekend was beautiful. Perfect weather and we pretty much just hung out by the pool all weekend. I mean, what else is Palm Springs for right? Cocktail in hand at all times of course. We did have an issue with our DVD player not working right, so I found Willian, and within 10 minutes this guy had it fixed. He is the magic man. There were several times throughout our stay that Willian would walk by and ask if there was anything we needed. We felt so pampered and I have to say, Willian made our stay feel like pure luxury. We’ve never experienced service like that in Palm Springs. We will be making another trip there soon, and I sure hope he is there. I also hope the owners know what an amazing employee they have as well. Thank you Escape for the much needed escape!

Ok ok so I know I have raved before but. Wait for it… In 2016, when most people are hoarding their dollars, my favorite Palm Springs getaway escape resort, where its friendly spotless great bedding and towels, amaaaaaaazing staff and gorgeous gardens not concrete slabs great overall energy have… Yes… Spent money and improved!!!
What you say? That’s nuts!!! I know
The always too high for me private patio walls of each room facing the gorgeous (big deep actually useable) pool, have been lowered perfectly, still a feeling of separation but being able to enjoy the goings on. Like a porch almost. Deserves a mention you say? Well the noise loss of income while it’s done etc. it’s a lot. I think so.
Back today gearing up for many trips over the summer. Escape resort Palm Springs. Now and always my fave xx

After staying in other clothing optional resorts in Palm Springs, I was pleasantly surprised how nice and stylish Escape is. Very low key, very friendly, very clean. We had a wonderful stay. ;)

I love the new changes to the Resort. The walls have been lowered in the front porch of your room making it very inviting. It’s a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the mountain views and the pool area. Bob welcomes you with a great smile and strong coffee, as always. I call this place my second home.

I just returned yesterday to the wonderful Escape Resort in Palm Springs. It’s looking even better than ever with improved views from the courtyard rooms of the pool, the jacuzzi, and, of course, one of the best mountain views available in the valley!
The always reliable, friendly, and helpful Bob prepared our room which was, as usual for this resort, clean, comfortable, and well appointed for a relaxing and carefree stay. Bob always goes beyond the call of duty to make guests feel welcome and well informed of all the resort’s wonderful amenities and the area attractions.
We were greeted this morning by John, another outstanding staff member. John really makes you feel like you are part of the Escape family. It’s so nice to stay here, where staff like John engage you in friendly and fun conversation and do a superb job keeping the place in top condition. (It doesn’t hurt at all how easy John is on the eyes, also!)
All in all, the beginning of another relaxing, beautiful getaway in the best gay accommodations in Palm Springs!

I had a wonderful, relaxing time this past weekend at Escape — a terrific resort that I highly recommend. My room was spacious and well-​appointed, and the pool and spa were just steps from my front patio. The staff was exceptional… and I want to especially commend Charles, the manager, for creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

I’ve been coming to Palm Springs for 15 years and this is the most fun I’ve had at a resort. The staff and owners are awesome and make you feel like family. This is my new resort when I come to Palm Springs. And get a load of Charles, the manager, he’s cute and a super nice guy!

I’ve stayed in lots of men only places in Palm springs. This place, by far has the BEST SERVICE and truly makes you feel like you’re welcomed and home. And the guys who stay here tend to be classier, friendlier and confident in their own skin
Things that are great:
* Social Hour on Fridays and Saturday nights– they provide the booze and mixers and its a great way to meet other guests before going out.
* Great selection during the continental breakfast
* Quality pool and hot tub; big and large;and you never feel that you’re crowded or fighting for space
* Rooms– love the complimentary snacks
* All the rooms look out into the courtyard and has ample space to relax
* love the simple décor, modern décor
* The service; everyone was so friendly and accomodating. European standards of service here.
* ice machine and water!
* appropriate music played pool side
Cons (very minor and i’m being VERY picky): which is why I give it 4 stars
* If you are there to work (as I had to unfortunately) some of the rooms don’t have a desk to do any work. Instead, i worked outside, which can be challenging if you need to be plugged in.
* Location – its not walking distance to Hunters, but there are bikes that you can rent to get there and don’t want to deal with parking.
* not completely in a mid century neigborhood, but the furnishings are modern– Ikea inspired and very clean. It would be nice to walk around Eichners; but its most likely you’ll have a car
* jets in the whirlpool aren’t the strongest. But, you can’t complain when its so big!
Overall, I’d prioritize staying here over any place in Palm Springs because of the people (nice mix of ages, couples and singles) service (never feel rush, truly feel appreciated) and the quality of facilities.
If I could give 4.5 stars, Escape would earn it! This is a great place to relax, meet other like-​minded guys who respect each other.

I reeaally wish I could have stayed longer. The space plus the friendliness of the staff and the guests was getting me relaxed very quickly. Everything was cleaner than most hotels chains. Those things make me want to come back the most. That and Charles’ smile.

I believe this is our fifth time back at Escape. We enjoy Escape because it is quiet, relaxing, and not full of trolls. The morning breakfast and Friday, Saturday social hour are well done. Willian kept our room in tip top shape as he always does when we are there. The vibe of the place, atmosphere, décor of rooms and landscaping always give us the feel of the 1950’s-1960’s. We can’t wait to come back in the fall! We really love this resort!

Staying at Escape is always a delight. The experience is consistent. They have figured out what works and are sticking to it. The owners and staff are great. The small and quiet property invites you to relax. The pool and hot tub are perfect for socializing. Willian has been working here since we started staying. He always goes out of his way to make sure we feel welcomed and have what we need. We only make it to Palm Springs a couple of times each year, but we are remembered and treated like regulars. We have never looked for another place to stay since we found Escape. Escape is peerless in its class.

Escape is a wonderful well maintained oasis. The staff was extremely friendly and genuinely cared about our experience. Fewer rooms meant easier access to the amenities and a feeling of true escape. I will return to this beautiful location in the desert and you should also.
