Random Haus Palm Springs

This is a great mid century modern Boutique hotel close to everything but very private. Fully stocked kitchen had nice dishes not your typical mix and match but tastefully done down to the wine glasses. Bathrooms were very clean and master was spacious. Luca picked our unit and he did a great job! Service was great but yet had privacy. I am picky and this place was very clean and pride of new owners showed everywhere. I will recommend for couples that want to seek out a private get away as I do not think it is kid friendly. Every detail was thought out and I would not give out 5 stars if it wasn’t. I will be back.

Absolutely a great stay in PS during my visit for the BNP Paribas Indian wells tennis tournament. Small complex to give you a «boutique-​y» feeling. Unit was IMMACULATE! 2 bed 2 bath, full kitchen. Love the mid century modern décor. Office staff-​SUPERB, especially Luca, who was within a text away. Location — convenient to DTPS for all the fun resto and nightlife. Definitely will be back for my next stay in PS and would HIGHLY recommend for anyone considering this place.

My husband and I stayed here last weekend. We we’re celebrating our anniversary and wanted something secluded. Random Haus offered just that! It’s private, however, it’s walking distance to Palm Canyon. Which was awesome! The staff and price was great! We we’re upgraded to a larger room The Hunter. So our son that’s wheelchair bound could enjoy the hotel. At no extra charge! How awesome is that! I will definitely be back for a Girls weekend retreat!

Stayed here for a few nights in a nicely decorated, clean, well equipped condo style room. Employees were nice, and helpful. This isn’t like staying in a traditional hotel, they will ask you what room services you need for that day (and not just automatically come in and do the entire room). I was fine with this, simpler from my perspective since I didn’t need a full work up on the room each day. If traveling with dogs, they are very accommodating with several pet areas in the fenced parking lot. No extra charge for dog stays, either.
Having a full kitchen is a huge bonus, they provide coffee and creamer for your morning. No need to buy bottled water or ice, those are filtered in the fridge. There is even a washer/​dryer so just bring some laundry detergent and pack one less bag for your stay.
Pool and hot tub were sparkling clean. There was some construction nearby but not loud enough to be a bother. Would definitely consider staying here again soon.

There aren’t enough positive things to say about the Random Haus apartments. From the absolutely friendly staff, the gorgeous grounds, pools, amenities, spacious rooms, etc.
I was seeking a venue/​location to host my sisters wedding bridal shower since I am from out-​of-​state. I randomly came across this location and not only were they willing to allow me to host her bridal shower eith about 10 people /​guest in the room for a hours one Sunday evening, the staff was also so accommodating and friendly.
The room was so spacious, modern, gorgeous and had everything I could even think of needing available. Also, an additional benefit, once the party was over, I was able to clean up, sit back and relax with my mom and sister.
I definitely recommend this location and when I am back in Town, will be looking to book here again.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We loved the water feature with koi fish– such a lovely and unique touch! The pool was a refreshing temperature and very convenient to our room. We did not use the kitchen much, but with a full size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, etc, we could have prepared any meal. There was even a spacious and attractive outdoor grilling area. Eros and Aaron couldn’t have been more helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

I am very pleased worth my stay at random haus during coachella weekend. It is very spacious, kitchen, fully stocked with utilities, washer and dryer. We got 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. They have a pool with floaters, jacuzzi, and one person sauna lol.
I thought the service was great. The workers are very friendly and always asked of we are okay and if we needed items –coffee, towels, room service.
Just be warned they charge a fee for more than 2 guests. And when we booked through Expedia they didn’t charge their 11% occupancy tax per day to the fees. I wish Expedia would have included that… Who wants to think of paying more when you are leaving.

the furnishings were nice to look at but not very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, there was a washer and dryer in the unit which was useful. There were few black hairs on a pillow in the bedroom (neither of us have black hair), and the master bath toilet area had not been cleaned very well, there was what appeared to be dried urine on the wall. this property is listed as having no smoking in the units, however the staff smoke in one of the rear patio areas and this drifted into our unit. The pool and spa area are nice, the weather was cool during our stay and the pool was always kept warm enough to allow swimming. The location is close enough to walk to restaurants and nightlife. We figured out the channel selections for the TVs by doing a web search for the cable provider in the area. The website cites daily housekeeping services-​this did not occur, nor was there starbucks coffee or the plush robes advertised.

We visited Random Haus back in May (2014) for my birthday and it was just so great. We had plans for dinner but after seeing the deluxe kitchen, I had to cook — we made homemade pizza — the kitchen had everything and anything we needed. Our «apartment» was just so lovely, everything was immaculate, everything was of the best quality, the staff was so wonderful. My husband and I really enjoyed our weekend. We’ll definitely stay there again!

Large, beautiful trendy rooms and a sharp attention to detail (fully furnished kitchen). So hip and fun – perfect for any special event.
The pool is a little small but thankfully, my girl friends and I were the only ones there that weekend (Memorial weekend to be exact, which is surprising there were few other tenants).
The after-​hours key pick-​up process was a bit complicated – the instructions in the e-​mail didn’t match up with what we saw in our envelope – but someone did pick up on the after-​hours hotline and helped us get squared away.
They are very strict with occupancy – there are video cameras everywhere but no actual staff on property which is a bit creepy.
Another slight annoyance: on Saturday afternoon, the gardeners were there cutting palm trees and blowing leaves around the facility which felt a bit disruptive to the vacation experience. Should’ve taken care of that before your guests arrived. Still the overall stay was very enjoyable and I hope to be back!

I am so envious of everyone else’s reviews. I am writing this now because I’m still on vacation and need to rid myself of this feeling. I cannot proceed with my vacation until I physically write this.
Let me get the great stuff out of the way, credit is due to the amazing interior and layout. It is amazing! The rooms are beautifully appointed. The BBQ and common areas are nice too.
The honestly not-​so-​good stuff… From check in, I never felt welcome at all. I don’t know how to describe it, it’s just a feeling. After reading about everyone else’s amazing welcome, I felt slighted. Am I missing something? Our stay was originally for four days and we cut it down to two because my group just felt uneasy. We were here for a retreat for my team, and it just didnt work out.
The photos reveal a spacious setup and it really is! However, even the two bedroom setups are only designed for two people. If you are bringing more guests, you will be charged additional fees. I understand how hotels operate, but I don’t understand how this big room with seating for 15 – 20 ppl is only marked at a two person occupancy.
Sadly, one of my guests broke a vase because it was on an uneven table. And he bumped it while taking a photo. Innocently accidental. We went to report it and the manager just said to expect it on the bill, while looking at his phone. There was no thanks for addressing it in the first place. He didn’t seem genuinely caring one but. It all became clear that we were unwelcome after that.
Overall, the trip was bizarre. I just wanted to get out of there. First night, I couldn’t sleep just because I felt like I was intruding. So I probably won’t be back. I think smaller groups will enjoy this place. I feel like my group just received the bitter end of the stick. Really irritates me because I saved my money to enjoy the accommodations. I paid just like everyone else but received not so great service. We are moving on to another property now.

We found it on line and had no idea the pleasure in store for us. Our spacious and beautifully furnished two bedroom apartment came with a fully equipped kitchen (including a martini shaker and other implements for entertaining), beautiful Bauhaus style furnishings, two patios, a koi pond with a waterfall and a visit from a Snowy Egret! The master bathroom was fabulous!
The staff members were warm, welcoming, and helpful. They were so proud of the property and seemed delighted to share it with us. Because it only had a few rooms, there was an intimacy created between the staff and the guests. The pool was warm and I enjoyed the cabinet sauna.
I can’t wait to return!

As good as it gets. I hope they are around for a long time and that they are able to make the changes necessary to grow their model… I was reading about the breakfast which I never saw and did not miss and expect that it is a small concession that has been made to help the hotel operations. I honestly think our room would be a value at double the price and that there are certainly established properties that charge more for a whole lot less… that being said, there are only 12 suites and PS is seasonal. It is going to take some deep pockets and talent to make this high design detail laden property work but I am hopeful that it will continue to succeed and that I will not be priced out when more people with more money begin to see the value and style that is Random Haus.

What a great stay we had at Random Haus! The suites are wonderful and the staff is great. The grounds are beautiful, including a pool, hot tub, cabanas, and a sauna! We will certainly be coming back here again!

Second time staying at Random Haus this year (see my partner Steven S.‘s review earlier in the year). It really is the ideal hotel for Palm Springs: mid-​century modern décor, which gives you that old palm springs feeling, but all completely brand new.
It’s a quaint establishment so you practically have the pool and spa to yourself, but the units themselves are several times the size of a typical hotel room. Staff is very friendly and attentive, and the location convenient. Stay here!

Don’t understand if the hotel has two bedrooms why they only allow two adults. Watch out they charge additional $ 60 for extra people.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon. It was more than we could have ever dreamed of! The room was so clean we thought we were the first to ever stay in it! The furniture, décor, and lighting was absolutely fantastic. The staff was so kind and accommodating. Everything exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to come here again and recommend this resort to everyone.

This is the most beautiful, accommodating and comfortable hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We used the BBQ area, which was great. I love having a full kitchen. When we walked into our room, I told my partner that I wanted to either move in or hire their decorator. Everything was friendly, comfy and gorgeous. We can’t wait to stay there again.

We wanted a relaxing, restful weekend away but with all the amenities of our home and this place was the perfect spot. Fully appointed kitchen with all the cookware, glassware, silverware, and stoneware we could need plus a built-​in wine refrigerator and in-​unit washer/​dryer. Also, the complimentary breakfasts were not only a fun surprise but were outstanding. The staff really took care of us too – adjusting the pool music to different stations and volumes appropriately throughout the day or bringing us our breakfasts when they saw we were up.
The only flaw I could mentioned was that there was no full-​length mirror in the room; we brought this up to the manager and he said the developers are already working on it.
Sure, this is an LGBT focused property but everyone is welcome – in fact there was a straight couple staying next door to us and they had a blast staying there. Plus, all of Palm Springs is gay-​friendly at a minimum, so if someone has a problem with being around gays/​lesbians then they shouldn’t come to Palm Springs!
We enjoyed our time so much that upon check-​out we booked for another weekend trip for later this year! I’d recommend this place to anyone wanting an urban retreat with all the comforts of home (even the pooch) but with the service of a boutique hotel. Five Stars.
