Randy + Ashley

Well– Randy and Ashley are simply the BEST! They traveled all the way to San Fransisco to shoot our wedding! (PS Ashley doesn’t even like to fly!) Ashley is EXTREMELY responsive which I can appreciate because a lot of vendors are not. They were SO quick on getting us our images back (and mind you we had about 4K!!! and they are ALL AMAZING!!!) They photographed EVERY detail. If you are looking for amazing photographers look no further, Randy and Ashley have a talent that the world should know about.

All of the pictures from our wedding are AMAZING!!! I am not naturally super photogenic but Ashley and Randy really know how to direct you to get beautiful natural looking shots! I am SO impressed! I feel so lucky that I found such amazing photographers online without any personal recommendations. It was really hard to plan a destination wedding (we are from Seattle) and I feel like I totally could have gotten photographers that were not nearly as helpful and supportive as Ashley and Randy were. They are super knowledgeable and were able to answer so many questions as well as recommend other vendors in the area. They truly are masters of their craft and you can tell that they LOVE what they do. They will put you at ease and make your day run smoothly and effortlessly. They went above and beyond!

Where do I begin? Simply put Ashley and Randy were incredible and I would highly recommend them to photograph your event.
We recently eloped in Palm Springs. To us a photographer was the MOST important part since no family/​friends were present. I found Ashley online and contacted her along with a few other photographers. Here is what I loved about Ashley + Randy:
1. She was the first to respond to my inquiry, offered straightforward answers to my questions AND suggested an officiant who we used and loved.
2. Even though we were a fairly small account, they took time to meet with us in person. They gave us a sweet gift and were incredibly helpful in narrowing down locations for our ceremony and photos.
3. The payment/​contract process was all online and streamlined. Very easy and very professional.
4. Day of event they were timely, took tons of photos and even went with us to the Palm Springs sign to take photos (which we sprung on them kinda last minute).
So after our time with Ashley + Randy we commented on how much we enjoyed them and how fun our day was. We hoped we would like our photos as much as we liked them! Which leads me to…
5. OUR PHOTOS WERE INCREDIBLE!!! They know what they’re doing. We absolutely love our photos and they flawlessly captured our day.
Please don’t hesitate to hire Ashley + Randy. They are kind, professional and very good at what they do. You will not be disappointed!

Ashley Durham and her husband/​partner Randy are THE best for not only photography, but also coordination. These guys stepped in when my coordinator went missing and they went above and beyond to make our wedding day the most beautiful and ENJOYABLE time ever. Ashley’s optimistic attitude put me at ease and I TRUSTED her whole heartedly… They came all the way from palm springs to shoot not only our wedding, but also our engagement session photos and we couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out. I mean, we look like we belong on the cover of Bride Magazine… for real! Ashley’s quality is incomparable to any other photographer I’ve met, and he personality and willingness to be flexible just blows me away. I just love her. She was the best decision I made in regards to our wedding! (other than marrying my husband of course haha!)

My partner and I had the pleasure working with Ashley and Randy at Ashley Durham Photography leading up to and during our wedding. Interestingly enough, it was their first California wedding after moving back to Palm Springs from Colorado, as well as their first LGBT wedding ever. So, as to make sure we were happy and that they’d get a comprehensive idea of what we were looking for, we spent time together, filled them in on our history as a couple as well as our plans, for the wedding and life! Also, ran through some peculiarities as to how certain ‘straight’ things just don’t work when shooting a gay couple. They had an open mind, got it all and delivered a smooth and spot-​on performance with compliments still pouring in from our friends around the world.
It was just a perfect experience all around. The attention we received for the price we paid was excellent. Ashley and Randy blended into our group of guests seamlessly and it felt like they weren’t there. Yet, they managed to brilliantly capture the vintage chic, preppy and stylish atmosphere we had been working on creating, including the most natural and simply coolest snapshots of our guests. Among the probably 5.000 photos we received (all in color and black/​white) where maybe only a handful of ones we didn’t like — but that is most certainly a subjective call. Most importantly, they guided us and we let ourselves be guided as to what they thought would be the must-​haves; again, no disappointment here.
The attention to detail was great. Shortly after the wedding, Ashley published a quick sneak at what was to come and everyone among our guests couldn’t wait for more. The eventual blog told a wonderful story of a great day in the desert… including shout outs to all vendors, and every designer that contributed. A perfect memory.
