I recently needed repairs on my hot water heater. Juan C. corrected the problem temporarily until the part comes from the manufacturer. He was polite and professional and explained the details to me. I appreciate his work ethic. My experience with this business was a quick response, did what they said they would do and in a timely manner. As far as the previous reviewers situation, it was the total opposite for me. He did not rush and took his time to troubleshoot. The only reason they don’t get 5 stars is because all companies have room for improvement :). I don’t know why the other 2 reviews aren’t shown upfront. Interesting…

Not impressed at all. Payless did the install of my water heater and when the gas company came out, they cited the installation with a list of problems and told me the was it was installed was dangerous because backdrafts could blow toxic gas back into the house. So Payless came out and argued with the gas company telling me they don’t know what they are talking about. Finally, they did enough just to get the gas company to turn it on.
Then, I start having trouble with the unit not heating. Long story short, they come out multiple times, and rush through the job. I had them out a total of 4 times to get the heating problem fixed. Each time they came out, they rushed through the job, never tested the work and ran out the door as fast as possible.
They don’t take any time to do the job right and test their work. They «guess» at the fix, rush to get it fixed and then expect you to spend more money if their 1^st guess didn’t work. My advise is to find another company that takes more pride in their work.

I used Payless on 3 separate occasions for 2 different locations. I was extremely impressed with all 3 technicians Matt R and Brandon from Palmdale and Larry J from Newhall location. They were not only courteous but extremely knowledgeable. They went straight to the problem and knew exactly what needed to be done. I would definitely recommend Payless to anyone their prices were reasonable. The girls in the office were equally as professional.

Payless Water Heaters & Plumbing good customer service. Received same day service and Matt came between 12−2pm as promised. He was very professional and timely with his work. I would recommend this company for any water heater issues. Thank you!
