Sweet little bookstore with a couple cats roaming around. They also have cookies & brownies out for guests for free, which felt like I was visiting grandma’s place or something. The tv was playing The Hunger Games. The lady there was really nice. And they have a pretty good selection considering how small it is. I could have spent hours there!

I used to have so much fun coming to the lil book bug, but now that me and my friend have bought all the used young adult books there aren’t any more coming in so I just wish they had a bigger young adult section, and it seems like the prices are starting to go up again, but overall a very cute book store and very nice workers, a good selection for adults but not so much for teens and kids

Jackie S. didn’t joke about saying this place is easy to miss in her review… it took me 14 years to realize this place existed! When it comes to used books, I’ve mainly relied on the likes of the Friends of the Palmdale Library’s book sales over at the Thursday Nights on the Square during the Summer and the Friends of the Lancaster Library’s lovely little store in the corner of their library. But for actual standalone bookstores? They seem hard to come by in the AV so to find out that we have one just down the street from the behemoth known as Barnes and Noble was certainly a surprising treat for me! The selection was pretty good. Compared to the big mainstays of used books that I visit when commuting down to LA, it’s decent enough but I’ll take that over waiting for my next commute to stop by the used book stores down below. Indeed, the conditions of many of the books are pretty good and they try to share any issues there are with each book by putting stickers for those that have coffee stains, pages with wet damage, etc. And let’s not forget the adorable cats! These furballs are definitely a pleasure to have around while I spend time digging around the aisles. Makes me wish I wasn’t allergic to ‘em! Do «like» Facebook page so that you can be posted on their sales!

This book store is my favorite store in the Antelope Valley. It consistently has a good selection of books in great condition for half the cover price or less. I also bring in used books and get tade credit for what I purchase in the store. The staff is friendly and helpfull. Happy reader

I really love this place. It has been around a very long time, I am going to say at least five years, but probably a lot longer. It’s located in Palmdale, and can be easy to miss, but hopefully you can find it. She has tons of books that are all in very good condition. Some of the books are 50 cents, some are half priced, depending on hard cover/soft cover. I have bought so many books from this store! The owner is very nice, and I think she has some kitties that hang around. Definitely need to go here. She accepts old books that you have for store credit, as well as lots of used books. Definitely a welcoming place, and a must stop!
