Small and quaint. A diamond in the rough. They are 45 seconds away from my work. I love this place. Service is excellent. You feel like family. The husband and wife are so warm and friendly. Very down to earth and simply lovely. All the food here is fresh and made with love. I had the chicken tacos and they were spicy and fresh tasting. Tortillas were like no other yummy light and crisp. Avocados were perfectly ripe. Not your typical idea of a taco. They had a hint of spice and I love them for that. Desserts are absolutely killer here too. I’m going to go back more often to try more things on the menu. I try to support small businesses as much as possible when I can.

Highly recommend the Tiramisu and, even better, the soft, warm and gooey Apple Tart with the small dollop of melting ice cream on top :-)! A friend recommended this place based on the fact that an Italian friend said that the Italian food was very good. It did not come up on the Unilocal search for Italian food and that’s because it is also combined with Mexican. Yes, that’s a little bit weird :-), but you’ll see how it plays out very nicely on their menu. It’s a very small little place, unpretentious, but we really don’t care about that as we were only interested in the quality of the food. I like viewing kitchens and a restroom visit will route you through it. Mr. Picky said the kitchen seemed very clean and they have an «A» rating(restroom, too, for that matter). Telemundo played a little loudly in the background, but our waitress was very accommodating and nice which was a pleasure. The waitress very graciously brought a gratis warm risotto ball to try which was thoughtful and a very nice touch. It wasn’t my favorite. Unsure whether to order soup or salad, we asked for a sample of the soup. You can see in the photograph their minestrone has very fresh vegetables, but it lacked a bit of Italian food flavor. We both started with a side salad and decided to use the balsamic dressing because they said they made it here on the premises; we asked for a little bit extra. That was a smart move because that balsamic salad dressing they make is really quite delicious! Mr. Picky ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, with shrimp for just $ 2 more, while I opted for Chicken Parmigiana. I had a choice of vegetables or pasta and went with the Fettuccine. The shrimp flavored his Fettuccine nicely and I wouldn’t order it without the shrimp as his was better than my side version. I’m taking the rosemary flatbread accompanying the entreé home in order to spruce it up with some more olive oil, garlic and Romano cheese. We fell in love with a Unilocal photo of four desserts on the plate before we realized that it was meant for multiple people. We asked them to make that up for us anyway – yes, we ordered four desserts for the two of us – and decided to sample them all(not large servings). Panna Cotta was okay, the Tiramisu was very good, the mousse cake reminded me of a very moist fancy bran muffin, and the apple tarte was extraordinarily wonderful with a dollop of ice cream on it which melted over the warm, soft mound. The apple tart and tiramisu were real winners!!!

We were searching for food options on Unilocal and stumbled upon this restaurant. I mean Mexican and Italian? That’s two of mine and my boyfriend’s favorite types of cuisine. And to find that in one restaurant was like Yesss we hit pay dirt! When we walked in we were immediately greeted by the friendly and helpful staff. I ordered the special of the day, chile relleno, my bf got the chilaquiles. We also got Italian food to go for dinner. I got the homemade spinach ravioli and he got the spaghetti bolognese. Everything was really delicious. And don’t get me started on their dessert– the apple tart and the chocolate mousse cake, so amazingly yummy. The mousse cake is very unusual, a very moist and light chocolate cake with nuts and a chocolate sauce poured on top. So tonight we ordered delivery which we are thrilled about. Since we moved to this neck of the woods we have noticed not too many restaurants deliver. Bf got the meatball sub, minestrone soup and I got the chicken Milanese plate. It was so good y’all that I ate everything before I could snap a pic. So be sure to check out this family run restaurant. We will definitely be back for more!!!

Went here today at 830 to try it out as I’ve heard they serve non breakfast(lasagna, pasta, etc) items for breakfast which makes me happy as I’m not really a breakfast type of food person. My husband was even excited and he is a breakfast guy and was willing to make the trek across town.. Anyways online through Unilocal and Facebook it says their hours are 7am-9pm. We got there and they weren’t open. Their hours on the WI do say 9 – 9. So we waited, almost an entire hour at this point and they still aren’t open! Very dissapointed! I’d love to come try the food, just not sure when they will actually be open like they are supposed to be…

I have waited so long for a place like this to come to the Antelope Valley. Finally, we have a restaurant that serves excellent Italian food. Homemade chicken and spinach ravioli, penne and sausage, chicken Parmesan, chicken Alfredo, seafood scampi — -all if it outstanding. The sauces are absolutely delicious and the salads fresh and flavorful. The homemade chocolate mousse, Apple tart and my favorite, tiramisu, are to die for. They are off the beaten path but well worth the visit. If you like good Italian food — real Italian food — this is the place for you. They also have Mexican dishes, pizzas and sandwiches that I haven’t tried yet, but can’t wait to.
