After working over 15 years in the automotive industry, Johnny started a smog shop run by Ivan certified in smog testing and emissions repair. The shop acquired the most recent STAR certification required now in California by the DMV.

Johnny is a resident of Palmdale and of 6th street automotive related businesses. He first started in his father radiator repair shop as a youth. Moving up to repairing cars at Ramon’s Automotive (next door), then finally establishing his own business: So-Cal Smog.
