Highly unprofessional. I ended up paying $ 30 MORE than what Apple charges to have a broken iPhone 6S screen replaced. It took them nearly 24 hours to do the work which, with an appointment, takes about an hour at the Apple Store.

I was having a problem with my MacBook Air keyboard where it was suddenly typing only in Greek. I thought I needed a new keyboard so I went to We Fix Macs for a new keyboard.
I was greeted by a friendly person who helped diagnose the problem and lo & behold: in a matter of minutes, the problem was fixed without a charge :-o
These guys are great! I highly recommend you go here if you have an Apple problem. They are not money minded and they will take care of you like family.

I brought my MacBookPro mid 2012 into Abbi for a «clean up» Had that famous beach ball on the screen constantly.
Abbi not only cleaned up my Mac but took the time to explain to me (a older non computer person) how to keep my computer running fast and avoid any further problems.
His customer service is only surpassed by his patience and understanding.

Very helpful! They put my hard drive in a loan laptop while they were fixing my computer, so I was still able to get work done. They also gave me updates via text message, which was convenient. The whole process was pretty easy and simple.

I was in Palo Alto for a conference, and I came to the store after I dropped my iphone in the toilet, and I wanted to get some photos that were not backed up. I couldn’t turn off the phone, and I was concerned that that would continue to ruin the stored data. I called Abbi who said it would be $ 20 to fix it. It turned out that $ 20 was to diagnose it. He did not diagnose it while I was there (Maybe b/​c it was closing time) but he took the phone home. I was leaving the next day (Sunday) and he said I could pick up the phone at his house on the way to the airport after he restored the data. Well, it turns out the next day, he needed more tools b/​c the touch screen wasn’t working. I couldn’t turn off my phone b/​c of the touch screen so that was not new news to me –he should have known before taking it home. I left my phone in Palo Alto since he said he would ship it to me. I told him I’d pay up an additional $ 50 to try to get the data. I flew home, and 2-​days later there was no luck in getting the data with my $ 50 budget, but he said if I am lucky my computer or my wifi may recognize my phone and the data could be backed after I increase my icloud storage space. He did not mention this the first day I went there — which I could have easily done. At any rate, he delayed 6 days (after informing me he could not repair) to return my phone which I needed in order to get a new phone (my insurance needed it), so in total I got my phone 11 days after I first dropped it off with Abbi. Now I have the phone, and it does not turn on so wifi and connecting the phone to my computer do not work. The phone was still on when I took to him, so maybe those tricks would have worked had he mentioned them the first day.
Overall, Abbi is very nice upfront. If you ever question him, he will get defensive. I was also not happy he wanted me to pay the shipping fee as a «gift» on Paypal rather than a business. I still paid business but had to pay to more to cover his Paypal fees. He promises deadlines but does not deliver. He ignores you when he doesn’t have answers. I would avoid this place.

Awesome customer service! Turned it in for a battery replacement and got it back the same day. They even cleaned out my computer

I had to buy a new power cord for a very old Mac Pro. I was pleased it was in stock and at a reasonable price. I arrived with two little ones in tow, and received excellent service. One of my kids is unable to walk, and they removed any hurdles and unnecessary extra steps In purchasing their items, very unlike an actual Apple Store. They were prompt, kind and friendly to my kids, and reaffirmed my beliefs in supporting small businesses. I truly appreciate the staff for their kindness.

MacBook Pro late 2013 backlight went out.
It took a while, but I’m glad to have it back in working order.
It was easier than having to wait an extra week before apple genius appointment.

The business is now next to Foot Locker (if you’re facing Foot Locker, it’s to the right). Abbi worked extra this evening to fix the fan and battery on my MacBook Pro. He even went through and cleaned up stuff I didn’t know was wrong and didn’t charge me extra for it!
I’ve used these folks on and off for years and have always had good luck.

Not sure why my original post was taken down. Just went by WeFixMacs to get my cracked iPhone glass replaced. Dropped it off at noon and picked it up at 4pm. I love this company! They go out of their way to help the customers at a great price!

I had just moved from Brooklyn, NY and I was looking for someone to fix my iMac. I found these guys and was immediately impressed with their professionalism and their fast turnarounds and decent prices. The iMac was not starting up but they were able to fix it very quickly & it’s been rock solid ever since. They had some old RAM laying about and they installed it on my computer for a mere $ 10. Who can say no to that?!

Great place: came in and dropped off my laptop because my hard drive was acting flaky. Got the chance to meet the owner, funny guy and very professional. Got my computer fixed in no time. Even tho the shop closes at 7p on Friday, he stayed til 845p to make sure I got my computer before finals.

I’ve been taking my macs here for years. They are fabulous. Excellent work. Really check everything out and make sure your problem has been fixed.
These guys used to be a block over in a stand alone building. They were told the building was being demolished so they moved. Property owner had delays and leased that location to another Mac repair place. DON’T BE FOOLED. The people in that building are not affiliated with 800 We Fix Macs.
Go with the original company thats been doing Mac repairs for years. You won’t be disappointed.

I came in wanting to sell my iMac because I am moving to China. After a 15 minute test, they gave me the money just as they had quoted on phone. No haggling, no bait & switch, no change of price after I was already there. Very pleased and much better experience than the impostor company that is in their old location.
But here is the best part: after our transaction was done, the owner talked to me at length and was very knowledgeable and helpful for a project I am working on. Completely unexpected and a pleasant surprise! He even offered to make introductions to a major EMS provider :-o

I’ve been driving by this place for years. Finally had an occasion to walk in because I wanted to sell my old MacBook: I had a 13 and recently upgraded to a 15. The person behind the counter made it quick and easy unlike the other sketchy place that pretends to be the We Fix Macs store (I went there as well). In less than 15 minutes, we agreed on a price, a check was cut and I was on my way. But not before I quickly backed up my files O:-)
If you have a Mac to sell, take it to this company. You will be treated fairly and efficiently. Don’t waste time!

My iPhone wouldn’t charge up, I took it to the REAL «We Fix Macs» (which has moved out of the gray building on El Camino, they are now in an office right next to Footlocker.) Abbi had it fixed the next day, and gave me a loaner phone to use while mine was in the shop. He even called last week to ask how it was working, so if there were problems he would take care of it no charge. So much easier than the Mac store, less expensive too.

If you have a Mac that needs care then look no more, this is the place to take it for TLC.
Abbi was there for me and explain in plain English what had to be done.
My Macbook Air was returned to me the next day as promised, and it operates now even better than when it was new.
Kudos to Abbi and his crew.

In the tiny store all of us were upset by our broken gadgets and whimpering for attention. I thought divorce was imminent. Abbi calmly solved the myriad problems our Macbook Air posed, while tranquilizing others who had broken screens and hearts. This is no mere mortal, he should be cloned! He is fair, honest, and overworked. He will not take advantage of you, despite your vulnerability.
He is busy, and you must be patient with him. He will do his best to solve your problem, and he is very capable. Wonderful service sometimes takes longer than expected.

I’m a chef and as such, I’m in the service business, and so it takes one to know one when good service is given.
I came here when my computer suddenly stopped working. Liquid spilled on it while it was in the kitchen. I was in a desperate situation because I had a soft opening for my restaurant in a few days and all my menus were yet to be printed :-o But these guys had my back. Within 30 minutes, they had me fixed up with a loaner. I went to Foot Locker, which is right next door, and I was back up and running quickly with MY hard drive in a loaner machine.
Now for the bad news: the laptop was so badly damaged that it was advised that I don’t fix it. But I had paid over $ 3K for this machine and I don’t want to chuck all that away. I asked We Fix Macs to think of alternative ideas. We decided that we would wait for a good deal on some used parts and fix it that way.
More than 3 months went by and I had not heard from them. I was getting angry thinking they had forgotten me. But I still had their loaner so maybe no but still, c’mon…
Finally, my ordeal was over when a good deal showed up, my laptop had some replacement parts that were not water damaged put in and I finally got my baby back. In the meantime, my restaurant opened, we had reviews and all along my trusty Mac was by my side in the kitchen (thank you Steve Jobs!).
Maybe I should have kept the loaner — LOL!
I want to recommend this company for working outside the box. The repair was pricey but they worked with me financially by giving me time to pay– I have found that when you need help, all you have to do is ask.

What great customer service! I came to this store from China because Apple recommended me. I did not have a car. The store manager offered to pick me up but I said, let me make my own way. I went in the wrong direction by bus so this company offered to pick me up from the bus station.
After I got here, they were able to do a diagnosis on the spot. I was told to wait for few hours so they will clean the computer, load new hard drive and make ready for me. There was another customer in the store and they request him to drop me to the nearest market– very nice and friendly.
When I got back, the hard drive was put in, there was a latest operating system in it and my old hard drive was put in a tiny portable case. I was able to boot up from it and verify everything was working OK.
I am very pleased with the service and the people who work here. After the job was done, they even dropped me off to the bus station.
Very good! Does not feel like a business, feels like you are visiting a friend for advice and service. Hopefully I won’t be back but if you need Mac service, THIS is the place!

For some reason my previous review has vanished :-/​I wanted to review this place because the staff here, especially Abbi, has been super helpful, saved my bacon and not even charged me for each time they have helped me.
The latest reason to come here: my hard drive was getting full. It was late (I mean past closing) and Abbi still helped me. We figured it would be cheaper to buy a couple of external drives & consolidate all my data and free up space on my internal drive. But I need my conputer for work and can’t be without it for too long. So they agreeed to fix the computer HD space problem over night on a Saturday night!
I am in the service business myself– this is how you help people and make them loyal customers!

What a relief it was to find Abbi and the We Fix Macs team. My Macbook pro was tortuously slow. I was told by a couple «experts» that it was a memory problem. But oh no — within a few hours, Abbi had cleaned things up and had it back to its old self. He spent a lot of time with me explaining, giving suggestions and alternatives and warning me about some of the downloads and configurations I had on there. I’m pretty tech savvy but I learned a lot. A few weeks later when my computer was again slow, he accessed it remotely and was able to fix the problem within minutes. Completely impressed and so happy to have a go-​to place to rely upon. I’ll never go anywhere else. See ‘ya Genius Bar.

Fix after this review. The battery was failing days after the «repair» here – something not noted by this store. Cost to fix the entire product was $ 400 and change – pissed off that they charged me more than half that amount to do a band aid fix that didn’t really work. Total waste of money and complete rip off.

NO GO! NO GO! NO GO! Repeat three times for important things. I really have concern on them.
I sent my water damaged macbook air to their Palo Alto office on Aug 31. They asked for 35 $ for diagnost. In that Tuesday, they said they need to send to their santa clara office because their technical people are there. Thursday, told me logic board was dead, and need 400 $ to fix it. So I asked for do not fix it and let me pick up. In 2^nd week, I went to their Palo Alto office three times to pick up, but they keep telling me my mac was still in Santa Clara. Actually every time before I went to their office, I confirmed them on call. Finally I get my laptop back yesterday (3^rd week monday) after almost shout to them on phone.
How could you trust a company even do not know where they put customer’s laptop. And I lose confidence with them.
After got back my mac yesterday afternoon, I plug in power adapter, cpu fan spin like crazy which was not like that before I sent to them. I have doubt on whether it’s still my laptop and really have concern whether all my pieces still there (I am so stupid and did not take pictures before I send to fix).
After work, I opened my mac. My mac air is a quite new one, it still have a smell of new laptop when open screen. Three weeks ago, before I sent my mac to their office, I used cleaning duster to clean inside (the logic board and etc.) But When I saw it again last night, a lot of dust on my logic board and battery. And found soup stain on battery (you know how disgusting it’s when I figured out those are soup stain?). Even worse, I saw A LOT of dent on my battery. Before sent to them, it’s the first time that mac been opened, and from the appearance, it’s factory new.
So, I have only two assumptions on this: their technical staff working environment is really bad or they have replaced my components!

What great service! I broke my iPhone screen over the weekend and was trying to get an appointment with Apple. They said it would take a week. I called We Fix Macs and they even showed up early so I could drop off my phone first thing Monday morning. They offered me a loaner, and had the phone fixed by the early afternoon. I would definitely use them again!

The tech person who helped resolve my computer problem recently & in the past has been very patient, knowledgeable, & quite cordial. He always takes time with the customer to explain and trouble shoot the problem. He is never in a hurry to rush you out the door, even though there are usually other customers awaiting his attention, as well. This company rates «five stars» from me.

I was visiting San Francisco for work from Los Angeles, there was a I phone update so I updated my phone unfortunately I had to have my phone plugged in into a itunes… Problem was my computer was in Los Angeles. Thanks to them they were able to fix my phone and I found way back home and around town. The service was the best part, they were so nice ! And even helped me with some job advice. Tell clooney I said hi! I have been trying to find this on Unilocal and I finally found it ! You guys are the best !!

They fixed my iPhone 5S, which needed a new lightning port. I dropped it off at 5 p.m. and it was ready by noon the next day. (They open at 11 am.) The phone now works fine. They gave me a loaner phone, another 5S, so I was not without a phone during the repair. Other customers I spoke to in the store were repeat customers and were happy with their service. I gave them 5 stars because of their quick turn-​around and because the got me going immediately with the loaner phone.

Brought in my wife’s iPhone 5 because she dropped it– first time in 4 iPhones that we had a dropped iPhone in our family. These guys fixed it for me the same day. Fast, courteous service and the guys behind the counter even hooked me up (for free) with an iPhone case they had so this would not happen again!
