If you’re in the mood for a terrific burger, this place is second to none. All the French fries are cooked in peanut oil and the toppings for your burgers are endless and at no extra charge. They always seem to add extra fries into the bag as well. Always a plus. This location also has a soda machine that you can mix up several different flavors. The kids love it for a rare treat. Great value and a great burger

Good quick service here. This place is spotless and run by mostly kids but without any attitude that you sometimes get with teens left on their own to serve the public. I got here about 10 minutes before closing and I didn’t get the attitude I thought I was going to get. Very pleased by this.

The burgers are good, but overrated. All those toppings are unnecessary. I enjoyed the complimentary peanuts while waiting. And the wait was long. The French fries were good, but I wish they had a smaller size. I really don’t need a jumbo sized fries for about $ 3. The dining room and restroom were immaculate. And they play good music.

What a long trip it’s been for Five Guys Burgers & Fries. Wife told me Five Guys Burgers & Fries was a small regional chain in DC. Years later they seem to be everywhere. Every mall, town, city has one or more Five Guys Burgers & Fries location. I am glad. I like Five Guys Burgers & Fries. This is a very solid burger chain. Fresh product, clean environment and a kick ass soda system. Business model is strong. If you been to one, you been to all. Which is all good. The Parsippany location is pumping out a delicious burger, tasty fries and refreshing drinks. This is living lol. Burger was moist, hot and great ratio of add ons. Very tasty. Fries crispy and hot. Love that they have malt vinegar. Five Guys Burgers & Fries may not appeal to everyone. Some folks don’t like chains. I am one, but I really enjoy their burgers. I have been to 7 or more locations in my travels and this location hits the hunger pain spot. Don’t forget the tasty peanuts while your freshly cooked burger is being prepared. YAY…

I have been to three other smash burgers this one is the worse and does not tastes or have customer service poor. I had to send my order back three times cause one the mangers did not care about how I liked my food. So sad good place but nothing like the rest. Not mention dirty any manager who cares about his customers would clean up trash on tables a real manger would clean tables especial with no where for customers to sit.

It’s five guys, if you haven’t been to one then stop reading this and go to one. Burgers are good, food is consistent, workers are pretty nice, and the place is pretty clean. This is not an order your burger rare kina place, patties are smashed down and griddled to perfection. You can add all sorts of toppings-I’m a mayo, grilled onions, pickle person myself. And fries, get the fries. You’re probably fine with a small, they take the cup and load it as heavy as they can. This location has one of those crazy soda makers too so you can make peach raspberry sprite if that’s what makes you happy. Five Guys is good stuff.

It’s the quality of the hamburger meat. You can taste that it’s different from other places. I eat mine plain with a little salt and it’s delicious. While it costs 11 dollars each time I go, it is entirely worth it. I get a burger with 2 patties, a small but plentiful fry, and a regular soda.

One of, if not THE best burger i have ever had. This is a burger mans dream! I always roll with the double patty, BBQ sauce, fried onion and bacon and an order of the fries. Dude… It’s making me hungry right now writing this review. Smashburger got nothing on this IMO. The fries are great, fresh cut, remind ya of boardwalk fries. Man, simply the best. Service is always good, place is pretty clean. No complaints from me.

First of all, Five Guys has the best cheeseburger in town. The fries are delish, and they give you an extra scoop in your bag. Now that we have established the basics, I wanted to make a note of this particular establishment. My father and I stopped in after a rather trying week, and the place was empty at 1:25pm on a Wednesday. I had placed the order via the Five Guys app, so the food was ready and we just waited a few minutes to get the fresh fries. Most important to note was the kindness and professionalism displayed by the staff. The woman behind the counter was always nice and friendly, even though I kept asking or things(a glass for water and a new bag to bring some of the fries home). And, a woman who was sweeping the floor actually stopped by our table to ask if we needed anything and if she could bring it to us. It was a simple gesture, but one that I would like to call out since she went above and beyond the basics of what needed to be done.

I wanted to go to Smashburger for lunch the other day. Instead, I accidentally drove to a Five Guys Burger & Fries, so I decided to eat there anyway. If you’ve never eaten at a Five Guys, it’s styled as a retro burger joint, with spartan furnishings and decorations consisting mostly of their awards and accolades. The red and white tile theme gives it a throwback atmosphere, and employees wear red uniforms to match. Five Guys falls into the«fast casual» dining experience, which is another way of saying that they have found a way to charge a premium for the classic American favorite: a burger and fries. Their model is somewhat gimmicky(complimentary peanuts while you wait), coupled with an all-fresh ethos that promises to never use frozen beef — the website states that there are no freezers in any Five Guys restaurants.(As a side note, they also claim they do not use ammoniated treatments on any of their beef supplies — aka, «pink slime».) The menu has only 18 items on it: eight burger variations, four hot dogs, four sandwiches and two types of fries. The simplicity of such a menu probably saves each franchiser a lot on overhead, and makes it fairly easy to choose your meal option. Fifteen free toppings options give you the ability to customize your burger. We ordered two cheeseburgers, two small fries and a soda priced as follows: Burger — 4.99 Burger — 4.99 Fry — 2.29 Fry — 2.29 Soda — 2.19 Total: $ 17.93 Either there was an error made placing our order or the store’s menu was priced incorrectly, because the cheeseburger was listed closer to six dollars. Corrected for the error, that would have put our order at $ 19.27, with tax. Even though we were dining in, the food was presented after about 7 minutes at the counter in two separate brown bags(there is a self-serve soda fountain). We picked the bags up and brought them to our table where we spread the contents onto… nothing. There were no trays or plates. It was either eat it off the table or out of the wrappers. At our request, a friendly employee gave us a foil burger wrap to spread our fries on. The ‘small’ fry was so generously portioned that it could easily have fed two hungry adults. It left no reason to doubt that Five Guys uses in excess of 123 million pounds of potatoes in a given year*. The fully skinned, Pont neuf-cut fries were freshly made and tasty, with the right amount of salt and not too much grease. The burgers were also generously portioned, somewhere in between what you might expect to get at McDonalds and a Fridays. The patties were thick and mine was cooked on the rare side of medium. The toppings were all fresh, and the whole package offered a mouth-watering, savory satisfaction. Except for the oil-based, single slice of ‘fake cheese’ that dripped over the top of my other-wise decent burger. A real low point in the food quality. In addition to not providing anything to eat on, there were no napkins on the tables, a small gesture that would have been befitting of a ‘fast casual’ style restaurant. The Five Guys experience is supposed to be repeatable across the franchise. However there is no way to review the restaurant generally without offering some observations and criticisms directly related to the location at which we ate. The employees were friendly, but not particularly enthusiastic about us being there. The manager sat at a small table on the other side poking at his iPad and never once asked us about our dining experience or checked in to make sure our order was OK. On the positive side, the facility was very clean, including the cooking areas, dining room floor and the men’s bathroom. As far as value, it’s a tough call. The food was good, but at nearly $ 20, I could have had a similar experience in a sit-down restaurant(Chilis, TGIF, etc.) with similar portions and quality along with a more personalized, attentive wait staff. I guess I wouldn’t have gotten free peanuts, though. Five Guys is worth a try, but its standards aren’t high enough that it would be a place I frequented for a burger.

Well, this place has its good points in its bad. First off the good, the burgers are freshly made, their large, very tasty. The fries are fresh and Cajun seasoning is a lot different than I’m used to but all in all nice. Now the bad, since it’s freshly made it does take about 10 to 15 minutes for your meal to be prepared, the fries was this a little bit greasy, and they over seasoned it with the salt. This place reminds me of juicy’s back home. When I have time and want my cholesterol to shoot up about 50 points out come back, just kidding this place was okay we will return.

I think the fries suck! Mushy, mushy, soggy, soggy, oily mess. If my fries sucked as bad as theirs, I’d give them away too. Bty, the burger is fine but takes forever.

Bom Bom Bom… another 5 Guys excursion under my belt. I know that no matter how bad a day I have or how far away from home I am, 5 Guys will always be there to hold me and tell me everything will be okay.

Time Arrived: 1130, weekday Time Wait: NA Party: 4 Atmosphere: This is a chain. Food/Drink: Most people know what to expect when you get a burger at five guys so there is no need for me to comment on that. However, the thing I will comment on here is the coke machine. This location has one of those coke machines where it serves literally every coke owned product and allows you to add flavors on the fly. Fanta, peach flavor? why yes! Coke, rasberry flavor? sure(this flavor is gross btw)! That being said its… just a novelty, but novelties float my boat. Service: This is a chain. Overall: Come get a burger here, then spend 20 min trying to get the best flavored drink available.

A lot of people rave about this chain and we decided to check it out. I was unimpressed. The service was slow and the burgers were average. The fries were rather limp. I would not go out of my way to go here again. Allergen alert. There are open bins of peanuts as soon as you walk in the door and the food is cooked in peanut oil. Those people with peanut allergies should stay away.

What can I say, I enjoy 5 Guys in my mouth? Uhm, ok, well, let me rethink that… I enjoy moist flavorful burgers made to order and fresh cut fries made to perfection. Whew, much better. 5 Guys is THE place to go for your burger fix. The burgers are a little more expensive than most places, but well worth it. Heres a tip: a burger or cheeseburger comes with 2 patties. want less? get the«little» cheese burger. Same goes with fries, a regular order is plenty for one, and a good amount for 2 as they drop the fries in then put a couple extra scoops in the bag. For a kick, go with the cajun fries. The grilled cheese sammich is also very good, simple, but good. All in all, good food made fairly quickly(fast food this isnt, things are made to order so quality takes time). Another plus — order online or via the app for phones, and when you get there they start making your order so it greatly cuts down the amount of time you spend

Due to the fact that I am mainly a Pescetarian it is rare that I am eating meat unless I am looking for the perfect BBQ experience — and I am not talking about hot dogs and hamburgers but the real BBQ world of pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. So… if I am eating a hamburger I am doing it to really see what is going on with the claims around the fame. To me Five Guys is a hit. I liked it a lot better than In-N-Out in California and perhaps that had a lot to do with going for the bacon cheeseburger as opposed to the cheeseburger(with) for In-N-Out. What makes Five Guys an even bigger winner are the fries. I think the only place that beats them is Thrashers fires along the board walks of DE and MD and that is saying A LOT! It is good advice to go small on the fries unless you are sharing with a friend as their portions are very large!

I am going to start my review with one bad thing. The first time I went to this place a bunch of old people were working the counter and grill and my burger came out rather mediocre compared to the one I had in upstate New York a few months prior to that. So, I stayed away from the place. Fast forward a year. I was in the mood for a burger and I had no choice, but to give Five Guys another try. This time I ordered fries along with my burger, and let me tell you. Best choice I have ever made. Burger was good, fries were AMAZING. To my surprise the employees seemed younger than the last time I visited, so I was a little unsure as to how the service/burger would turn out, but I was proved wrong shortly. Writing this review makes me want to pick up and go right now(which I think i might!) Bottom Line: There’s honestly no better burger in town. I do want to warn my fellow Unilocalers that getting the regular size fries means that you will get the whatever fits in the little cup they have plus about ¾’s of your brown paper bag will be filled with fries. This can be both good and bad because one order of regular fries is perfect for two people(save money), but may be a little too much for one person(waste food). I have tried throwing it in the oven to reheat, but it’s just not as good as the initial taste. HIGHLYRECOMMEND! If you live on the east coast and never had Five Guys. you are MISSINGOUT!
