I received a gift certificate for a car detail. The 2 guys that showed up were very professional. I only got the name of one guy, Christopher. They worked for 3 ½ hours to make my car look new again. From the engine to inside the trunk, all is shiny:). Very pleased. I did deduct the one star because I had to leave more than one message before getting a callback, then a day (s) would pass before getting callback. So a little slow in response setting up the appt. But once that was done, all went smoothly.

Me thinks not… It pains me to be writing this but I am…
I was pretty excited to have found what seemed to be a great mobile detailer. I’m very meticulous with my car and hand wash it myself every week because I can’t find a good hand wash who will use decent products. Needless to say when I saw that ADU has done work for Ferrari, I *thought* my search was over (keep in mind I’ve been looking for 8 months). Called to make an appointment and everything was smooth & went great. I have no qualms about the owner & I imagine he actually does a great job on the cars he does. My appointment was for Saturday at 10am. Saturday at 10 am rolls around & my phone rings. Guy (not the owner) on the other end tells me that somehow they’re double booked and asked if I can do it tomorrow. Considering I made this appointment a week ago, I was very annoyed but agreed.
1^st problem — why are you barely telling me AT the time you’re supposed to be here that you fucked up & double booked yourself? Common courtesy would have been to tell me the day before or at the very least, an hour before.
2^nd problem — I made this appointment a week ago! Why am I the one getting fucked?
Also, he wasn’t apologetic whatsoever. It was more of a «hey we’re double booked, can you do it tomorrow? «umm at least pretend you’re sorry…
Trying not to sweat the small stuff, I agreed but was bothered after. I wanted to call back & just say forget it but I didn’t…should have listened to my intuition.
Guy gets here on time, no problems there. Spends a fair amount of time on the car, etc.
Basically my issue is that the job was half assed. When he was done I went to inspect the car. An entire rim was missed and completely dirty but not a big deal, he cleaned it, we moved on.
Further inspecting the car, I found other «minor» things… wax not buffed out fully, water spots on the entire front grill (so many that I just cleaned them myself). Looking inside the car, I could immediately tell he did not clean everything. Seats were not cleaned nor was the steering wheel as I could see my makeup fingerprints on the horn… again, I brush it off, cleaned it myself.
I pay, he left.
Where I really get mad is when I pulled my car into the sun & see all the shit on the windshield he clearly didn’t bother to clean! My dogs nose print was still on the back window & it was apparent the front windshield was not cleaned inside and there were tons of water spots on the outside windows (all of them).
Pro tip: pull the damn car into the sun to make sure it’s clean! I was going to do this when I was inspecting the car but I didn’t want to seem like a meticulous asshole so I didn’t. Anyone who takes pride in their work would do this at the end but I trusted that he knew what he’s doing & would do a good job. I didn’t pay someone to micromanage them but clearly I was wrong and needed to.
Basically I paid $ 100 for a polish, wax and to clean my rims because everything else sucked (which is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars vs. 1) and I do a better job myself every single week… me, a 29 year old girl who would much rather being doing anything other than washing my car.
It felt like only 50% of the things were cleaned and given that this was a mini detail that cost 6x the price of a car wash, my expectation is that everything that’s done on a normal car wash is completed and then some. My trunk wasn’t even vacuumed for God’s sake.
The real loser here is me because now my search for a great mobile wash must continue.

Best auto detailing in LA. Reno did a great job on me and my friends cars. Really acceptable price for auto detailing. He done 4 cars in just 5 hours non stop. Keep up the good work!

This company is great, they did a great job detailing my Range Rover. Before I sold it, Reno came and gave one of the best details I’ve ever seen on it. From making the color shine to maximizing the leather in the inside. My Range Rover looked brand new before I sold it. When I posted my car on Craigslist, the detail clearly helped me sell my car asap. The customer service and integrity of this company is great! I highly recommend them.

I called Reno to get my husbands car detailed for his birthday. It hadn’t been washed in over 6 months. It was filthy dirty inside and out. I called him and he came over that afternoon. He came when he said he would and got right to work. He started with the inside of the car and i think he spent at least 1.5 hours cleaning the inside! He cleaned out areas that were difficult to get to, like between the seat and the center console, the areas car wash places always neglect to clean. The filthy cupholders looked never used! The outside of the car was as clean and looked almost brand new (minus all the dinks and scratches). The car was meticulously cleaned, inside and out.
Needless to say, my husband was quite surprised when he got home and so happy to see his TL so clean.
I’m so glad i found him on Unilocal.Plan to call him again to get my car and my husbands employees cars detailed!
I asked for the mini detail and it cost $ 100. He did some extra work and the total charge was $ 115. I also tipped him for his fantastic work.

ADU did a fantastic job on my Honda CRV. I’ve gotten auto detailing many times before and I’ve never been 100% pleased with it. But ADU has my 100% satisfaction!!!
Usually auto detailers tell me they can’t remove the dog fur from my car even before they’ve tried. ADU pretty much removed all of it!!! Which is an amazing feat. I know because I’ve tried to do it myself. They actually used toothbrushes to remove the grime from the interior of my car! They KNOW what the word DETAIL means. And they are detailed!
In addition to all of this, there is a dent on he side of my car. They buffed and removed all the scuff marking. You can’t even tell there is a dent there now! My car looks brand new inside & out. And I would like to say, Reno was always very honest with my husband and myself about what they were able to do and what would be difficult to remove. The whole ADU team was amazing and polite. And they are reasonably priced. They are hard workers! And so worth the money!

2 yrs later and ADU is still detailing my car. They always do a great job and the Reno the owner is always very nice and u can tell is on his crew about doing the job good without shortcuts. I have recommended several people and they are equally as happy and the fact that his service is mobile, is def a PLUS!

I must say that reno and his crew of ADU did and amazing job on my Hyundai accent. I was honestly ready to go and get another car because as a parent we know that with children and light colored interior can get pretty messy, and I honestly didn’t think my little car had hope inside. But after reno was finished with it I must say that it looks like new.
One thing that I liked about this company is that Reno (btw the owner) he was up front and honest about his work. He did mention to me at the beginning that there was a probability that the stains in my car cannot all possibly come out, because of the type of material. I didn’t really know the difference until he pointed it out. So there was many details he went over with me before he started.
I’m rating this a 5 because he didn’t promise me anything but that they would do their best. But ADU deliver what they stand for and they did an AMAZING job. Thank you. :) see you in 3 months

ADU does a great job… and aside from their hard work ethic and meticulous attention to detail, Reno and his team are extremely personable and very competitively priced. BUT the best part is they come to you! That’s priceless.

I called Auto Detailing Unlimited based on the 5 star reviews which were from 12(?) reviewers. I suppose the low number of reviews should have clued me in that perhaps the reviews are not true, but I have no idea if the previous reviews are legit or not. Here is my story:
1) I called them to arrange an appointment. So on the appointed time he came by, but unfortunatelym because it’s street cleaning day on my street, all the cars are lined up all along one side of the street and there was just no room, so he decided to come the next Sat.
2)On that day he was suppose to show up, he never did. I called him previously to change the date from a Monday to a Saturday, but I guess he failed to update this on his schedule. Oh well. Not a big deal and not a reason I would give a poor review. Heck, people make mistakes. I try to understand everyone is human.
Please note: At this point he’s seen my car and I told him it’s beige fabric covered and stains and dirt.
3) He comes by the new date. I had stuff in the car, and I guess I was suppose to move it. Mybad, Maybe he should have requested I move it at the time I made the appointment, or maybe I should have known to clean out my stuff in the car. Heck, I just didn’t think of doing it. Still not a big deal, IMO. He comes back to my door about 10 minute later and informs me because the car is soooo dirty he is going to charge me 160 and not 110 as he told me before. (Don’t forget he saw my car a week ago). And this is cleaning INSIDE ONLY. Another fifty bucks?! I am now captive and I could say no, and not have my inside cleaned, but natually I’d just wanted it done and agreed for the extra charge. I
4) When he finished I checked out the car. Usually when it is wet, stains don’t show as much. Since it looked a lot better I didn’t picked up all the missed spots and half– assed cleaning until later. The center console was black and clearly not cleaned at all, the head rests were still pretty dirty and driver side door arm rest still pretty dirty a lot of stains still left on the seat. Basically it was a not a good job and not 160 dollars worth.
5) I found a home remedy listed on the internet to clean up fabric car seats consisting of three parts of soda water, dawn and vinegar. I used a scrub brush and viola! All those stains came out! It wasn’t that hard either. WTF?! How did he not get these stains out? Maybe their idea of cleaning is just using their steam cleaning machine only? The center console was really gross, almost black and it was so clean like new when I was done. Again, WTF? I had some acrylic paint that I accidentally spilled in the in a crack of the seat. (I do art work) and with a little scratching of my fingernail it came out but with still a dark mark left but the goop was gone. Then I used goo gone and it was all gone!
6) At this point, I am not feeling all that good considering I gave this company 160 bucks for ONLY the INTERIOR work that I had to finish off myself!
I now felt he overcharged me for a mediocre job.
7) Now I’m wondering if the $ 160 he charged me was high, I later called another detailing place in the same city who advertised on his web site (if he is listed here on Unilocal) to clean the interior for $ 100. I asked him on the phone if the car is badly stained and very dirty beige seats will he charged extra? He said he wouldn’t but he would. not guarantee all stains would be removed. Fair enough. So here I was, feeling he took advantage of me charging more (even though he saw the car a week before) and dd a so so job.
8) I also discovered he broke my charger adapter too.
9) To see how he would react and do the right thing, (like give me credit back or come over and touch it up again) I called him and very nicely told him I clean up a lot of stains that he left behind and I felt he overcharged me and he broke my charger adaptor.
10) To his benefit he said he would pay for the cost of the replacement (though I never gave him a bill for the new one, I just didn’t want to bother) and he would retouch up the car and call me back to set an appointment.
11) Sadly, it’s been a week and no call back. I don’t anticipate him calling to re-​schedule a touch up cleaning. I suppose if I call him and get cranky he might come back and retouch it, but frankly, Id rather not because I don’t think he would do any better, he’s now resentful that I am not happy and he’s not making money by doing this.
In summary, this is no where close to a 5 star cleaning job. I cleaned up all the stains he said he couldn’t and probably didn’t really try.
If you decide on choosing an auto detailing company, you should pick one with a LOT of reviews so you can get an authentic, honest view of their quality. The point being, there were way too few reviews, which some *might* have been shills. With so few reviews you really cannot get a true picture of his workmanship.

My boyfriend’s Lexus’ beige leather seat had paid the price of chauffeuring around my (sometimes wet) Golden Retriever. It was dirty, dirty, DIRTY.
In comes Reno. Four hours later, car looks amazing; leather seats are beige again! Exterior is gleaming, and the car looks like new.
Reno was professional, personable, hard-​working, and honest about what he can and cannot do. Not to mention the outstanding job and the care he took in doing it. Now I have car envy; I’m already planning for Reno to come back to take care of my little ride.

5hours later, with much love and tender care on my G35, she shiny and it is actually a black car under all the crap from your everyday wear from the enviroment and weather!
Scheduled an interior and exterior auto detailing, and boy did she need it!
About 5 hours later, the inside was ridiculously clean, carpets and my seats were tan again. The exterior was better, all the scratch marks that I had on my car was GONE, deeper scratches was not even visiable unless you looked real hard for it.
I honestly felt like I have bought a brand new car! Reno and his staff did an AWESOME job. He did a walk around before detailing and then after it was done.
Any questions, just ask, he will honestly hook you up and educate you on what he is actually doing for the car. Eco friendly detailing, only used water for the inside for the carpets.
Best thing about this is, he comes to you, to your place, he does everything at the comfort of your home!!!

I had a really great experience with Auto Detailing Unlimited. Reno took me in on short notice to detail my wife’s car (a birthday present for her). I ordered the Exterior Recondition and Interior Recondition packages. My wife’s Honda is a 2003, so was starting to show some wear, including some black scuff marks on the door panels, and a general loss of luster all over. The interior was looking just plain and a little dingy from all of the dust and dirt that accumulates over time.
I couldn’t believe it when I saw the car in its finished state. It looked brand new, like on the showroom floor. The exterior was gleaming, all of the scuffs were gone, and the interior upholstery colors were restored to their original deeper colors. The whole job took several hours, but only part of a day. Since I couldn’t have him do the work in our complex, he offered to drive me home after I delivered the car to his place, and came and picked me up after the work was done. Reno’s a great guy, building a great local business. He has a lot of integrity, and goes to great lengths to maintain his business’s reputation. I highly recommend going with Auto Detailing Unlimited.

I bought a new car… back in 1991. It’s a black Toyota MR2 and the original paint was oxidizing and dingy looking. Reno brought it back to show-​room life! It took a little more than the normal detailing, in fact after explaining the process I opted for the 7 stage paint restoration. The results are fantastic. I highly recommend ADU and Reno. Forget a new paint job… at least for now, I will definitely be using them again. Thanks Reno!!!

Reno is the man. I took in my 2002 wrx. I baby the crap out of my car. I love my car like no man can… until now. I decided to give my car a treat and get it detailed; claybar, interior shampoo, and count em 7 stages of compounding! Reno knew about things you could do to a car that I didn’t even think legal!
So I took my car to Reno and left it in his magical hands for the whole day. Picked it up at 9PM and he was finishing up. Folks, this car looked good… even made all my dents and dings look good… but not really. Even Reno couldn’t make my dings and dents look good. But he knew somebody that could!
The next week, Reno arranged me to meet up with his buddy Art. This guy does for dings and dents what Reno does for detailing. Art worked on my car for a better half of the day and got rid of some serious damage (Thank you wind storm! No Kidding! It looked like somebody took a baseball bat to my car and bunted the crap out of it).
These two gentlemen are honest and hard working. They have a great eye for detail and great work ethic. Now if only they teamed up to create an one-​stop car care center!
But seriously, thank you so much!

I left my motorcycle under a tree on my driveway and was left with a lot of bird poop and tree sap marks that wouldn’t come off. Made an appointment for 2 days later and he did an amazing job. Very reasonable price and perfect service!

OMG! My Honda looks almost brand spanking new! Reno is a pleasure to work with and pays attention to detail. I would highly recommend his service to anyone! He arrived on time, very professional & the quality of work is superb!

My car, Bloo, looked like she hadn’t been washed for a whole year. Even when I would wash her, I can sadly say that I am no good. I leave water spots, don’t get all of the dirt out, and I absolutely hate trying to wax and clay my car… almost seemed like Bloo was a lost cause just because I didn’t have enough oomph in my cleaning ability, lol.
Then, I found out about Auto Detailing Unlimited through a friend. I was kind of iffy about the pricing, being a poor college student, but the homie that referred me, sold me, and told me it would be worth it in the end.
I called and spoke with Reno, the owner, about what they could do. They came to my apartment and worked their magic. When it was all said and done, I just kept feeling up on the fender because it was so damn smooth! I was so happy that Bloo looked clean on the inside and out. Will most definitely ask for their services again!
Cliff note: The guys have great customer service and work hard and efficiently. Worth every penny… especially since they come to you!

Great work, fast, clean, works really hard, and super professional. Came to my house to work on my cargo van with painted logo. Reno told me he color sanded the logo off and buff and polished. Made the van look brand new again, he help me clean the inside a bit without asking for a dime. I was so happy with his work I made an appointment for a detail for my car.

Auto Detailing Unlimited is Awesome, They did an excellent job on my car. I couldn’t ask for better detail really. Very easy I could of dropped the car off at their location if I liked, but I chose I have them come to me. These guys are the real deal, super professional every time. Totally worth more in value, prices are very reasonable especially when you match up the service and quality you get.
