NEW venue offers space private events for up to 35 guests on the weekends.

History

Established in 2000.

Chef Claud Beltran, who studied under Master Chef Thomas Keller, ventured down verious roads. He opened his our restuarant, currently at Noir Food and Wine in Pasadena, Ca. Spreading his art further, he opened Claud & Company so that more people could enjoy his food.

The food that Chef Claud creates is always spectacular at his catered events (The Pops for one). I cant wait for the doors to open at the new eatery. He says he is going to do a different theme each month. He told me the what the plans were for the first month. I dont know if i can share what the first menu is going to be, however i will tell you dont miss out. I belive it is going to be INSANELY good.

Ok! so nothing makes a wine tasting event even better than great food paired with those wines…
Tell me that a local wine producer is coming down to one of my favorite wine shops to showcase some of his wine and on top of that a great Catering Company that happens to be attached to a great little new and exciting restaurant is also gonna be there to show off some appetizer.
I can’t get there fast enough~
I will stay focused on what was presented to us from Claud & Co Catering. Which seems to be connected with Noir Food & Wine Restaurant also in Pasadena.

My memory does not serve me well in that I can’t recall all of the great sauces that were paired with each appetizer. Every sauce served to me was perfect with each course. We were given 1 plate with 6 different items to try.

Spicy Sausage on Crostini
Grilled Beef with Spicy mustard seed also on a Crostini.

Each and every course was a perfect harmony in my mouth. I and a few of my other wine friends could not help ourselves to another plate. Which was graciously handed over by the staff.
The head Chef Carlos Beltran has a long great history of working with great chef’s like Thomas Keller. A very gracious host he was to all of the guest that came to sample the wines that day. They seem to have great grasp on how to service your catering needs. They meet with you and discuss what you are looking for, and custom design a menu and proposal to fit your needs.
I am also very excited to give Noir Food and Wine a shot real soon. They appear to have a super wine list that is not overly priced for the quality, Which let’s face it!!!
Makes this «Wine Geek» a happy man~
