wanted to say something nice about a small business that did something nice. My wristwatch fell apart one morning, the back come off and the battery fell out. I tried to close it up, but was unable to do so. I found myself in Pasadena later in the day and did a quick internet search for watch repair, and Eric’s Clocks and Watches on Allen ave came up. I drove over there and showed him my watch. He took it and in a few minutes closed it back up and handed it back to me, as good as new. When I asked how much, he smiled and said no charge.
I was very appreciative, as service like this is the exception in today’s society, not the rule. I always try to patronize smaller businesses whenever possible and ask that all of you do the same.
In the meantime, I recommend visiting Eric’s Watches in Pasadena if you ever have the need for a repair or purchase, his store is full of clocks that go tick. tick…tick.

Needed a watch battery replaced and stopped by here as it’s right up the street from me. Eric fixed it right away (took less than 5 minutes) and only charged $ 8. Great price, great service — very much recommend!

If I could give more then 5 stars, I would. These guys are great. I purchased a coo coo clock from them and love it. Works like a charm.
I have also taken watches to them for link removal and appreciate the efficient and courteous service.

I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve probably drove by Eric’s place twice a day for the last ten years and never noticed it. OK, so last three years because when I visited, he said he’s only been there for three years. Parking is terrible, but the price AND SERVICE is right. He fixed two of my watches in record time for much less than I thought I’d pay. I used to go to Woodland Hills to get my watches serviced, but no longer. I’m a customer for life at Eric’s now. Thanks, Unilocalers, for steering me right.

I had inherited my Dads Grandfather clock about a year ago and it was not working. I was worried on how I would get this enormous clock to a shop. As I was delightfully surprised Eric from Eric’s clocks and watches does house calls! He came to my house, took out the clocks mechanics and promoted me I need a Complete overhaul. Within 8 weeks he brought it back, set it all up and my beautiful grandfather is working great! Thank you Eric, can’t wait to get my other clocks in your hands!

Eric did a beautiful job repairing and restoring my large wall clock. It is more than 40 years old and was damaged when we moved 10 years ago. We finally decided to get it fixed and Eric did an excellent job. The clock looks just like it did when it was new and runs perfectly.
The repair took a few months because the original manufacturer is no longer in business and the parts are not easy to get and have to come from Europe, but after waiting 10 years to get it fixed, I wasn’t in a big rush. I was glad that Eric took his time to do the job right. When we picked it up he showed us exactly what to do to set it up when we got home and even offered to come over to help us if we had any trouble (we didn’t). I thought his fee was very reasonable too!
He has a lot of beautiful clocks for sale in the shop and seems very willing to work with you on price. I will be back!

With all the modern technology today, I rarely wear a watch. I was going through an old jewelry box and found a Movado Museum watch (given to me as a gift years ago) and gold/​silver, Seiko Mickey Mouse watch (my favorite).
I looked on Unilocal for a watch repair business and found Eric’s. Located in a small strip mall, so you might drive right by it if you are not looking.
When I walked into the small storefront, I was amazed. It was filled with beautiful old clocks. Eric walked out from behind the counter and greeted me. He took a look at both my watches and said that they would be ready the next day.
I asked him if he would tell me the history of some of his beautiful clocks. The first picture I posted of a gold and black clock with, what appears to be, a woman seated on top. This clock was made in The United States in 1888. The company that made the clock is Asonia.
The second photo is a very similar looking clock. However, there is a magnificent eagle perched on top. This clock was built in France in 1850. (photo 3).
The last photo is of a Howard Miller Ship’s Bell clock. My father used to have the same clock on his boat. When it chimes, it uses military time for the number of chimes. It used to confuse the heck out of me in the middle of the night when the ship’s bell would chime 23 times (11 PM).
I got a photo of Eric surrounded by an amazing collection of clock’s. He specializes in restoring and repairing Grandfather clocks.
My watches are working beautifully. I would highly recommend taking any watches you need to Eric. I took an old wall clock from our Geology Library at Caltech to be repaired. The clock had not run in years. When I walked inside I was amazed by all the ticking sounds I could hear from all the clocks in Eric’s shop. Dropping off the clock Eric took a look at it and noticed that it need a new electric motor. I respect honest people and why they believe something needs to be done right. He told me that I could order a new motor for the clock but he could not guaranty that the motor would last because it was made in China. He told be that if I was patient, and had time, he would order one made in the United States. He said the U.S. makes the best but right now they are back ordered. I told him that it would be great if we could get the clock back before the Fall term started on September 28^th. He assured me that he would try. Now I dropped off the clock on March 14, 2015 and he called me on September 10, 2015 and said it was ready. During this 6 month period he kept in contact with with me by phone to assure me that he still expected the U.S. made motor would arrive during the time frame I asked. On the day I picked up and paid for the clock he had it on the wall and it was plugged in a working. After paying him I took the clock back to our Geology Library and hung it up on the wall. It was great to see it working again after all these years. Our department and myself would love to thank Eric for a great job.

I came in because the small piece that holds my watch strap had broken. And then he did the unbelievable by finding a similar looking piece and adjusting it to my watch for free. The whole process took less than 5 minutes. It may seem like no big thing but after spending $ 500 on my car for repairs and finally getting the time to take it to a watch repair shop this was totally a blessing in disguise. I strongly recommend these guys. I can’t thank you enough

Eric’s Clock and Watch shop is a small mom and pop shop with great service. I went in with my watch hands having fallen off inside the face of the watch. Erick fixed the hands in just a day or two AND replaced the battery without me asking. Great pricing and fast service. Totally recommend.

Eric was awesome. Replaced batteries for my fiancé and I in just a couple minutes, and at a bargain at 10 bucks each.
The store has a neat look, with old watches.
What my fiancé and I were impressed by was how passionate Eric was about watches/​clocks. You have to witness it to know what I’m talking about :) I’ll definitely come back with any further watch issues!

I received a Cu-​Clock by designer Naoto Fukasawa as a gift.
It malfunctioned and since it doesn’t have mechanisms like a real cuckoo, I didn’t know where to go so I took it to Eric, who… intrigued as he was, told me that he couldn’t make any promises.
Lo and behold, I received a call from Eric a few days later saying that he’d tightened the hands and that it worked fine. No charge.
He was also generous enough to share a little fatherly wisdom about happiness.
I will recommend this gentleman to everyone. He’s the real deal.

Just picked up my watches from Erick, had some batteries that needed changing and broken glass on my Rolex. Real sweet man gave me a hell of a deal.

If you have a clock or watch to repair, I can highly recommend Eric’s Clock and Watch shop, and of course it is Eric who is the one who is at the heart of it.
I first brought in an expensive Swiss wall clock (Pendule) about 100 years old, a family heirloom. The chime had stopped working. He had to replace the spring that powers the chime and he showed me the broken one when I picked up the clock. He also did a thorough cleaning at the same time. He did a great job, at a third of the price I was quoted somewhere else. The clock has been working perfectly ever since!
I subsequently also brought in two Swiss wrist watches to have the batteries exchanged. One a quite expensive one, I would not trust to give just to anyone and the other one an inexpensive one. No problems at all, personable service with a smile!
I can highly recommend Eric and his little shop, conveniently located just a few yards from the Allen exit on the 210 in Pasadena.

I honestly don’t know how to describe this man, i took almost 15 watches that were a mess they all needed a full checkup, New batteries, some of them needed new glass screens… He fixed every single one of them, before going to his store i took them to some other places they didn’t even know what batteries were needed for each watch, anyways Eric took care of all of them he charged me a fair price with a very warm thank you. They have great customer service, they’ll go the extra mile just to make you smile and get you what you need. I recommend Eric to everyone. He does repairs on almost any kind of watch, clocks, grandpa and grandma clock…
Just go there once and you’ll get a taste of what im saying!

Bought a cuckoo clock at the swapmeat and the bird wouldn’t come out. Eric was incredibly nice and helpful. He went out of his way for me and fixed it quickly. Really sweet man, highly recommended.
