Specialties
Our school, also known as HYE-KENPO, was started by Instructor Antranig Parseghian to give the youth a chance to learn the true essence of Kenpo; not only to become a warrior, but also a scholar. Our martial arts family not only offers self-defense classes, but it becomes the students second home, where their instructors and fellow students are there to help them achieve the most in karate and also help them achieve many goals in life. At Jeff Speakman’s Kenpo 5.0 we strive to bring out the best in everyone!

Established in 1997.
We began in 1997 as volunteer Hye-Kenpo Karate Teachers at the local youth center to help improve and influence young kids’ lives in many ways.
Meet the Business Owner
Antranig B.
Business Owner
Owner and Head Instructor Antranig (Sensei Anto) Parseghian began training in American Kenpo Karate under Master Jeff Speakman in 1993 and currently holds a 6th degree black belt, ranking him as Master Speakman’s highest and most prestigious student. Upon receiving his black belt in May 1997, Mr. Parseghian opened his school at age 18. Mr. Parseghian also graduated from Cal Poly Pomona receiving his bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Mr. Parseghian is currently running the school with his wife, Marine Parseghian along with the help of his brother, Berj Parseghian, brother-in-law, Artour Martirosyan, and their highest ranking students.
