Baby-boomer, native of Maryland, grew up on a farm on the Mason-Dixon Line (Maryland-Pennsylvania state line) midway between Baltimore, MD and York, PA. Went to local public school until junior high then to Friends School, a Quaker private school, in Baltimore. College and university experience consisted of Centre College of Kentucky, Towson University, Johns Hopkins Evening College and University of Maryland. Completed majors in psychology, creative writing and American literature.
Moved to CA in 1986 with youngest daughter, Nicole, in search of greener pastures.
Insurance career began in 1989 helping a small brokerage in Glendale with their marketing, advertising and customer service areas. Customer service, marketing and underwriting have always been my strengths, but, sadly for my fortunes, not sales. I enjoy taking care of all my clients personally and we often have great, long conversations that have nothing to do with insurance.
