Fast efficient. Always gets the job done well. They are always so scripted and not personal is the only reason for 4 stars.

I usually go to the one near me but circumstances forced me to go to this one instead. I usually get full synthetic and the lead tech confirmed this before writing up the estimate. Everything seemed good at first. However as they were putting in the oil I realized luckily because I stepped out of the car that they were putting in the wrong oil. He did call out the name as a synthetic blend and luckily I managed to stop him before he filled the car up. He apologized and they drained the car again and filled it up with the right oil afterward. I hope when I come back it doesn’t happen again.

The employees were very friendly, professional, and thorough with their inspection. The oil change service was quick as advertised. I was in and out within 30 minutes. They were having issues printing hard copy receipts, but they were able to email me a receipt. It was in my inbox within an hour. Will certainly come back to this location in the future.

Girl who is assistant manager was rude. Kept on taking guy who was working on my car away from his job and for some reason cars she was working on were finished before mine. I have been doing my oil change at this store for past 4 years but this was last time. They need to get some better people before I am going to come back.

Great, friendly service! That’s a rarity. You stay in the car the whole time and they explain everything to you. I wasn’t pressured with up sales and was treated respectfully. Oil change and tire rotation in under 30 minutes! And the cost was very reasonable.
I definitely recommend Valvoline Pasadena.

These guys saved my life. I was stressed out, coming off the freeway with a steaming radiator. Matthew and Jonathan instantly came to my rescue and tried to help me. They ended up getting me back on the road and helping me solve the problem until I found a mechanic. These people are willing to help with good intentions. I have never experienced better customer service with my car care! Thanks Valvoline!

After writing a bad review for jiffy lube, I had to find a new place to have my oil changed. I went to Valvoline oil change. What a difference, the service was excellent. Not 1 person that worked there was rude to me like they were at jiffy lube. I had a 10 dollar coupon so that was nice, then when they finished in about 15 min. I got another coupon for $ 10 off on the next time. Excellent customer service, Stephanie was great. I now have a new place to have my car serviced.

This review is about a very serious situation that occurred to me recently at this Valvoline location. On November 21^st I went in for an oil change and battery replacement. Everything seemed fine as I left that day. Three days later, on November 24^th, I got into my car to drive to Northern California for the Thanksgiving holiday and the car would not start. There was no lights, not even any sputtering to indicate the battery was even connected to the car. I called the closest mechanic shop and begged someone to take a look at the car as it was already getting pretty late in the day. When they opened my hood to look at the battery they found not that only were the bolts attaching the wiring to the car not tightened at all but the bolts connecting the battery to the car was not even on. The battery was able to shake and move around as I drove. They were able to fix it however a much more serious situation could have happened if I tried to drive 350 miles to Northern California with a battery that was shaking as I drove. Later that day, as soon as I was able I called this location to ask to speak to the manager regarding this issue. I very calmly explained the situation, honestly I mostly just wanted them aware that their employees were doing this kind of shoddy work that could lead to some very serious consequences. After I finished talking he did not seem to react in any way and simply asked «Well, what do you want me to do about this?» I was pretty shocked at this point with his response so I asked him for a partial refund. The cost of the replacement was $ 119.00 dollars. I did not even ask for a full refund even though I think that is reasonable after what happened, especially since I had to pay the mechanic to come look at my car and also this delayed my trip by about 2 hours. He informed me that he does not have authority to issue any refunds and would need to speak with his boss. Fine. About 20 minutes later I receive a phone call and he said «We cannot give me any refund however I can send you a coupon for a free oil change». I’m sorry, but this is not how you run a business. You almost ruin my car and my Thanksgiving break. Why would I go back to this location and let you do anything further to my car? I told him I find this unacceptable and asked to speak to his manager. He told me that he cannot give me his manager’s number but he would have him call me. This was on November 24^th and it is now December 3^rd and I have not heard back from anyone. I hope that this review is helpful to any future customers.

Worst place don’t even try! Although African-​American guy didn’t know how to set new version vehicle, why does he try? Why does he try to practice my car? Another two workers laughed at behind my car, and one guy came into my car then he fixed. WTF!!! They cared my car like their toy. I complain one white guy, but he suddenly change his face and I feel like he’s gonna kill me. I feel frustrated.

First time here and I received excellent, fast and professional service, I was in and out in 15 minutes and I was in my car the entire oil change. I totally recommend this place, Azar and his crew take care of business. Excellent customer service.

Stephanie and the guys were amazing and I got in and out in about 15 minutes. I got a oil change, two filters changed, and topping of some liquids. I didn’t feel pressured into buying a bunch of stuff and I felt they were honest in their recommendations on what I did and didn’t need. I also got a battery from them about two years ago on my other car and was pleased with the service back then.

Wow seriously impressed with this place. First you don’t have to get out of your car. 2^nd you are greeted by nice informative staff who greet you by name. 3^rd they are thorough. 4^th they are fast. And at the end the manager came Out and gave me a coupon for my next oil change. Totally coming back soon!

Would leave negative stars if I could I took me truck in to get an oil change, they let me know i was due to flush my transfer case so i did. they came up to me after it was done and said there was a crack by the drain plug which was already there. I took my car home upset that they still charged me the $ 100+ service. so I took my car to the mechanic and they told me it was a new issue since it never leaked or had any problems before hand. My family and I will not be returning to this location.

–1 star. Took my car in for a simple oil change. Started leaking oil all over the place. Returned, they said the gasket was loose. Showed me the dipsticks and told me all my fluids were topped off. 2 days after that my car breaks down. Have to get it towed. Get told the oil levels are CRITICALLY low and that the oil pressure switch was ruined. They told me to never take it back to wherever I had gone for an oil change. Called to complain to the manager, got a smart-​ass jerk. Didn’t offer a refund. They’re lucky I was able to have my tow covered by AAA. Do not go to this place.

This place is quick, professional and courteous. They have multiple people working together on your car, and you can tell that all have been highly trained in an efficient and productive manner for an «all systems in place» kind of feel. Perfect for a Type A personality such as myself. They did offer extra services such as if I needed wiper blades (and yes… I almost forgot that I did, thanks for asking!) and a few other items that I turned down. They were extremely polite and the recommendations were not a «sales pitch» as I have had in other places. They even asked if I knew about a recall on the air bags in my car (and no, I did not… thanks for letting me know! I will go to the dealer to get that repaired. :-)).

They are a sit in your car, quick service oil change. A bit pricier than Jiffy Lube types, but on the website is always $ 7 off coupons. They can be sloppy and leave oil on your drip pan from not being careful removing the oil filter, so a gentle reminder to them to wash the pan down can solve this careless issue.
All in all, quick and painless and never leave the car in about 15 minutes flat.
