Paso Robles Tech

Paso tech replaced the screen on my MacBook, and I am more that satisfied! Their Technicians are knowledgable, courteous, and hospitable, even to a computer novice like me. No lofty tech talk or up-​selling involved. They had it completed within a day, and texted me when it was ready. The owner gave me a quick tour, where she showed me all the various types of electronics that they fix, from X boxes to servers, they do it all. They have everything you need for computer repairs and they do it with a smile! Thank you Paso Robles Tech!

I called Paso Robles Tech yesterday with a computer problem i was having with a recent Windows upgrade. They were very helpful and were able to fix the problem in a short time. They were also very fair in pricing and I was able to get my computer back the same day. I will recommend them to all my friends who have computer needs from now on!

Okay, I’ll admit. I’m their techno-​dumbest client. What befuddles me is always an easy fix for these guys! It’s so very refreshing to know that they care enough about customer service as much as they do!!!

I have had the pleasure of «Doing Business» with with Paso Robles Tech over the past several years. They have always been efficent and helpful in the numerious problems I have had with my computer. The staff are friendly and can speak about what I need in a manner that I can understand.
I would highly recomend Paso Tech.

I brought my laptop to get the keyboard fix. It took them less than a week to order the part & install the new keyboard. They did an amazing job & it was at a reasonable price. Very friendly staff. I’d recommend them again.

I brought my computer back in for the same bluescreen issue. They said I needed a hard drive and I agreed to pay for a hard drive and a mirror image of my system to make things as painless as possible. I also asked to upgrade my RAM while they were in three. What I got back was a stripped version of my computer. Photos and documents were there, but all of my programs were gone. They hadn’t done the mirror image I had paid for, so they refunded it and took my computer back to try and restore it from my backup mirror image on my external hard drive. If I wasn’t data paranoid with backups, I would have lost so much! Now, had they fixed and and this been the end of it, I’d be leaving a much better review, but this snowballed into a PC nightmare. I got it back and the data on my external hard drive had been able to restore almost everything back.
But then I got the bluescreen of death again and again. Plus, I started getting relentless popups that said my version of Windows was not valid and kept prompting me to buy it. So the bluescreen issue was obviously not a bad hard drive because this new hard drive I bought through them is doing the same thing. And my best guess is the popup has something to do with the fact that there was a DVD-​R in the disc drive that said «Windows» on it in Sharpie. Back to the shop it had to go.
The last review I wrote was about bad communication. The owner asked me to give them a 2^nd chance with the hopes that I’d change my review, but while I was outraged last time, this time I was so pissed off I was in tears more than once. My computer was in the shop on and off for months! I’m sure they spent a lot of time trying to fix their multiple mistakes, but at some point I had to just get my computer back. They said to not put it in sleep mode to prevent the blue screens and that to fix the popup will require wiping everything and doing a fresh install (hopefully with a legitimate Windows disc instead of a home made copy). They also installed a lot of programs that run in the background and I have no idea what is safe to delete, so they run in the background and eat up my RAM. I feel like my computer has been disabled for life by them and my only hope is going to be a full reinstall of everything or to buy a new computer. I really hate giving someone 1 star, but I truly feel like they jumped to the conclusion that the hard drive was bad without a proper evaluation and as a result my computer is much worse than it was before.

They guys are true deal, not so techy they can’t talk to you. I refer them anytime I can.

Can I just say here I COULD NOT SURVIVE IN MY PERSONAL OR BUSINESS IF I DID NOT HAVE TRACI AND HER CREW TO ASSIST ME! I live 2 states away from PR Tech and yet I get better service and RESOLUTION to my computer issues and needs than any local support I have found! They are by FAR THE BEST IN THE INDUSTRY!!! Do not hesitate to call them for virtual assistance or to go in for local! I am blessed to have them in my life. I trust no one else! I have had many bad experiences and Traci and the crew are so knowledgeable, helpful and have a resolution to anything I can ask for! To have that as a virtual assistance, as well as I have been there for local assistance, and bring my computers for tune ups when I come to town… it is unheard of and just flat remarkable! My entire family and other business associates now use her as well and feel the same!

My laptop needed a new hard drive and throughout the majority of the process they were very helpful and accommodating. However it took them exceptionally long (1.5 weeks) to do a job that can be done in 2 days, max. In addition, I never received a call from them letting me know my laptop was ready to be picked up. I had to call them only for them to tell me that it had been fixed 2 days ago. Lastly, when I started up my laptop, a lot of the original functions that I had did not work because they did not install certain drivers that my laptop requires. This is incredibly unprofessional of them because the majority of people are not tech savvy and would not know computers need drivers for certain functions to work; which leaves people in a crutch. The technicians went the extra step to download antivirus softwares without asking me but won’t install softwares that come with my laptop???
Bottom line, they get the job done in an extremely time consuming manner even though they cut many corners.

As always, I have found Traci and her team to be extremely knowledgeable, helpful and professional. We haven’t lived in the area for over 6 years and always save all of our service work to have Paso Robles Tech update, clean and repair all of our computers when we visit Paso. We have never found anyone as reliable, thorough or trustworthy as Paso Robles Tech. They are just a phone call away with their remote service, which we have used several times. They are just the Best!!! Thanks again Traci and your reliable team for another great job!

I had a remote session this morning with Paso Robles Tech. It was so easy, painless & helpful. My issue was fixed within minutes. I highly recommend Paso Robles Tech to anyone with computer issues. I know they will be my first call with any computer problems!

Traci and her tech team are awesome. They are top notch when it comes to finding and fixing the problems when ever my computer has issues. They are very accommodating, understanding how important my computer is to my business… so they are always willing to go the extra mile and get the work done very quickly. I had one little hiccup, but Traci handled it with me on a remote session. I highly recommend Paso Robles Tech!

They are absolutely the best! Best price for the value. They have more checks to rid viruses then any other business that I am aware of. My computer runs great after they rid all the bugs. Thanks to all the staff!

Jonathan at PRT was great to deal with. Expedient service with a good attitude. My business with PRT wasn’t extended so I don’t have much more to say. I went in, got my problem solved, paid a reasonable price and was out. How it should be.

I have been going to Traci McMahan at Paso Robles Tech for several years. Mostly recently, my hard drive crashed and I was in need of accessing some time-​critical documents. As it was Saturday, I incorrectly believed Paso Robles Tech so I went to a big office store. They said it would be several days before they could even look at it to diagnose the issue and then they may have to wait for parts. I was surprised to find Paso Robles Tech open on Saturday. They gave me the option of putting my repair as a priority. They quickly installed a new hard drive which they had in stock, updated my programs, and returned it to its original format. They also make house calls for an additional charge.

I recently bought a new Dell that was having some overheating issues.
I found Paso Robles tech website, and called them up. They were very friendly, professional, and very willing to help. I think it was the owner I met with (not sure). She was able to help me right away, clean out any dust, and offer advice on what to do next. Prices reasonable, and great customer service.
I definitely know where to go if I have any other trouble with my computers. I recommend giving them a call if you need PC repair/​service. Oh, and my overheating problem is better :) Check their website for their new address.
