History

Established in 2012.

Sundance Bed and Breakfast is the culmination of a decades-long dream of Chef/Owner Alma (with a supporting role played by her husband Neil!). We moved to Paso Robles Wine Country to open Sundance in 2012 and are now in full swing — come enjoy the beautiful views, beautiful rooms and beautiful food for the perfect getaway, whether for a day, a weekend or an entire week!

Meet the Business Owner

Alma A.

Business Owner

Alma moved to Paso Robles from Los Angeles in 2012 to create and run Sundance Bed & Breakfast. In LA, she worked as a television and live event producer, primarily for Spanish-language television programming, commercials and public service announcements. She made a career change to pursue her passion for cooking and fine food by enrolling in Culinary School in Hollywood. After graduating with honors, she interned under Master Chef Michael Cimarusti in the kitchen of one of LA’s finest restaurants: Providence on Melrose Ave. From there she helped open LA Mill in Silverlake (voted one of the 10 best boutique coffee shops in the country by Bön Appetit Magazine) and then worked with Wolfgang Puck Catering in Hollywood. Opening Sundance Bed & Breakfast allows her to combine her skills as a designer, a chef, and an event organizer with her love of people, her passion for great service, gourmet food and fine wine in a breathtakingly beautiful setting!
