History

Established in 1939.

Broadway Tire Sales first opened its doors in 1939 at 113 Broadway in Providence. In 1989, we added a second location in Pawtucket at 580 Pawtucket Avenue to better service the community. We look forward to adding you to our long history of happy customers.

Been coming here for the past few months with On and Off Repairs for my 1997 Toyota Corolla and absolutely love this shop. I would honestly be lost without these guys here in Pawtucket.
Every issue I have had, they have walked me through, explained how it worked and what caused the problem, and have been MORE than fair with their prices to fix these issues. They have even gone out of their way to fix a backing plate and rust issue I had from putting new tires on for an additional hour at no cost.
Hands down one of the best shops for cars in the area. I would recommend them and will be back with any more issues I have without hesitation.

Went in for routine maintenance on my SUV, needed my heat shield taken off (rattling) and I ask them to have a good look over to see if I needed anything before winter (break pads, fluid levels, etc.). That’s usually an open invitation to get taken advantage of, but everyone I work with has been going to this garage for 10+ years and spoke very highly of it. My service cost me around 50 bucks, they looked over everything, recommended a coolant purge as the fluid was getting pretty dirty (my SUV is around 73,000 miles so maybe down the road I’ll consider it), everything else was par for the course. You can book an appointment online, which I did, and they got back to me within a few hours with my time slot. All the guys there were friendly and trustworthy, something hard to find in an auto mechanic these days. I will definitely be back if I need other work done.

BTS staff are friendly and efficient. My first encounter was earlier in the year when I moved to Rhode Island and needed to get my inspection test completed as well as an oil change. Had an appointment for the inspection and oil change but due to a miscommunication only the inspection was completed. They were apologetic and prioritized my oil change after realizing the mistake (not a big deal, things happen and they have a decent waiting area with coffee and a tv). Earlier this week my car’s check engine light went on and was being generally difficult. I called on Wednesday morning, and not only were they able to fit my car in, they were also able to finish the repairs by the end of the day. Overall, thankful for the prompt, efficient service; will definitely continue to be a customer.

I have had BTS work on my last three vehicles. They kept my 1988 Escort GT on the road of over 200K miles, my 1999 Wrangler running flawlessly for seven years, and now my 2006 Golf GTI working perfectly. I bought all three new and only let the dealership fix warranty/​recall issues.
BTS does a great job every time! I will never take my vehicles anywhere else. I drive down from Woonsocket and know it’s worth the trip.

The only thing missing is the E in BTS. The service there is great. I purchased my tires there last year, I hit a pothole last week and got a flat tire. I called and they were very quick to replace my tire. I’ve been going there for the last three years. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is awesome — especially Dino and Mark. I would definitely recommend BTS to anyone looking for great honest service.

I am super happy with the service here. I just got my car inspected this morning. I have been going here for years and never had a bad experience. The customer service is great. The prices are reasonable and work is guaranted. I’ve never had an issue with the work that was done on my car. They are a great company and I have and will gladly recommend them to anyone.

I’m super happy with the service I’ve gotten the 3 times I’ve visited– two were for tire leaks (always something lodged in the tire) they fix quickly. On one of my most recent visits was after going to the dealership who told me that my brakes were nearly gone — a $ 300+ repair. I went for a second opinion– they thought before even looking, at my low mileage, that it seemed unlikely, and they when they reviewed, confirmed that I still had a bit to go. Now I don’t want to risk brakes– but also don’t want to complete repairs that aren’t necessary yet. I like second opinions. Staff here have been really friendly, quick to respond and do the job right.
I will return here. They do good work and I trust them with my car.

The one thing BTS has going for them is their friendly staff. The first and only time I took my car to BTS was for my last inspection, and the gentleman at the front desk was helpful and affable.
That said, the service leaves something to be desired. I had to have my brakes fixed to pass inspection, and as soon as I drove off the lot I noticed that my emergency brake no longer worked properly (it had been fine before I brought my car in).
Unfortunately I never had time to bring my car back to BTS to fix the issue, and instead now a few months later have brought my car to my old mechanic for an unrelated service. They confirmed the emergency brake now needs to be repaired.
My advice is to give BTS a pass.

I was shopping around for tires after the dealership quoted me an outrageous price. They had the best price and a Friendly staff. 1 tire needed to be replaced after I hit a major pothole and I was pleasantly surpirsed when I called them that it was covered under the warranty. Overall I was very happy.

We had two tires replaced and rotated and the alignment done.
The new tire started losing air the morning after because the rim wasn’t cleaned properly, they corrected it quickly but I doubt we will return.
