TJ Maxx

When I started writing this review, I had made up my mind to give this store 2 stars. Basically, I just find this location to be so much smaller than the others in the area (in particular the Square One Mall locaion) and with another practically identically sized store just a couple miles away on 114, I’m not sure how this remote location in residential West Peabody survives. That being said, when it came to be crunch time this Christmas shopping season, this TJ Maxx churned out a bunch of good last-​minute finds and, perhaps thanks to its relative isolation to other retail outlets, I did not have to wait in long winding lines to check out. So two stars because, yes, there are bigger, better TJ Maxx’s nearby, but a bonus star for coming through and making my procrastinated holiday shopping a pretty painless experience.
