At Azul Tequila we house two different dining areas. Downstairs you will find our family taqueria where we are dedicated to bringing the flavors of Mexico to the people of Peachtree City by preparing traditional dishes like we used to enjoy in Mexico. The other half of our place, the Cantina Lounge, is a 21 and up lounge where our patrons may experiment trying our many unique tequila spirits while enjoying one of our various dishes from our Tapas menu.

Azul Tequila is dedicated to the culture of Jalisco Mexico. Everything about the region inspires us; the food, the music, the dècor & of course the Tequila! We are honored to convey this dedication to you through our traditional cooking and world-famous expertise in fine 100% Agave Tequila.

History

Established in 2013.

Welcome to Azul Tequila Taqueria and Cantina Lounge, the prime spot in Peachtree City to indulge in the flavors of «Authentic» Cocina Mexicana (Mexican Cooking) and Cocktails. This dining experience all began with three Mexican men’s desire to have a place where people can come and enjoy real down-home Mexican food without having to make the 30 minute drive to the heart of Atlanta.

Very good authentic Mexican restaurant in PTC, the servers and hosts are always so warm and welcoming, plus the food is delicious. I usually get the chicken, steak, and shrimp mocajete bowl with tortillas it’s so good. If you’re on the edge, definitely try this place.

After hearing rave reviews about this place, came to try it out for dinner. IT WAS GREAT! Came in on a Friday night and it was full, food and service were great. Their Margarita and Tequila selection are what you would find in places like Las Vegas. Had the cucumber margarita and it was so refreshing and tasty, for dinner i had the Azul fajitas and my wife had the mahi-mahi tacos and both were perfect with their fresh, hand made tortillas! Best Mexican restaurant in town.

The restaurant sells more 1800 Tequilla than almost all in the state of Georgia. The food is very good and the menu has an awesome selection. On the weekends they have entertainment snd great happy hour specials

Wanted to try a different Mexican place to get my taco fix and this place totally hit the spot! I have now found my go-to taco joint! I got Barbacoa, carnitas and pollo on oh-so fresh soft corn tortillas. The meat was seasoned to perfection and so flavorful and tender. I loved that they have a good sides menu and allow you to pick the 2 sides you want instead of just the same olé rice ‘n beans. I got the seasoned white rice and cactus salad. Hubby got the steak fajitas and they were also so delicious! Can’t wait to come back and hopefully sit on the nice patio in the warm weather!

One of my favorite spots in PTC! Chips + salsa are fabulous! Favorite thing to get there is the skinny tacos, enchilada verdes, and fajitas. Customer service is great too!

No, it did not hit the spot! Below average Mexican food.
Highlights: They seem to strongly promote their happy hours, seemed cheap and drinks looked good. No wait and easy to find location with ample parking. Friendly service.
Can improve: Food is just not up to par in taste and quality. You can tell with a Mexican restaurant as soon as they serve you the chips and salsa, at least in my view. Nothing stood out.
Benchmark: A better option would be La Parrilla for your money.
Dined in Oct 2015 and will not return.

Went there for lunch today and even though it was very busy they sat us very fast and service was fast and friendly. Drinks were good and brought within a short time.
Same with the food, it was served fast and everything we ordered was well prepared. Between the great service and very good food I will definitely be returning.

One of the best Mexican Restaurants I have ever been to (and I love Mexican food). I got the chimichanga with chicken and shrimp and it was so good! I always compare chimichangas with those from No Mas Cantina in Atlanta (because they have the best) and this one, in my opinion, was better! The Azul Tequila Signature Drink was well made and a new favorite! It was sweet but you could definitely taste the alcohol! I also got the tequila flight. I completely agree with the previous reviews with the service because it was somewhat slow. The food came out quickly but we spent a great deal of time looking around for our waitress. Nonetheless, I will definitely be returning.

Azul was at it’s best right after it first opened a couple of years ago! The manager was AWESOME! I went in and he spoke to me and asked my name ONCE. EVERY time I came back in he greeted me by name. Even after I had been out of town for several weeks on business. I wish he was back!
It’s now under new management and has been for some time. The had a simplified menu when they opened and every item was GREAT!
Now they have a very expansive menu and do everything OK. Anyone in the restaurant business knows that a complex menu with 100’s of combinations of food is NOT recommended. Don’t you watch Kitchen Nightmare or any of the restaurant ‘makeover’ shows? SIMPLIFY YOUR MENU SO YOU CAN DO EVERYTHING GREAT !!!

My favorite Mexican restaurant of all time. The carnitas melt in your mouth. The blue margaritas remind me of the Caribbean and the waters of Cancun. We are moving and I’m going to miss this place. Friendly wait staff and orders come quickly.

This place is usually my favorite local Mexican restaurant (since the Crosstown El Ranchero’s quality has gone so severely downhill) but today was my first time ordering their takeout and WOW they really need to re think how they package things. I live maybe 3 minutes away (5 on the worst case traffic light scenario) and I left my home the minute I hung up from placing my order. It was already ready and waiting (which was impressive!) so I grabbed it, went home, and dug in. The crunchy tacos were completely soggy and fell totally apart when I went to pick them up, and I was reeeaaalllllyyyyy looking forward to them too :-(

Not only is the food great here, and the margaritas, the management and staff is great. After a fun date dinner with my husband, we headed to meet some friends at a different location. After getting home a couple hours later, I realized my wallet was missing. We searched all over our home, only for me to remember that I remember lifting my purse and feeling like it was lighter than normal earlier in the evening. I checked everywhere. We went back to restaurant in case it had fallen out of my purse somehow — and sure enough — it had. Not only had the sweet waitress found it, but it was safely in the hands of the management staff. After verifying my information, they returned the wallet to me. I double checked and every single thing was still in it — down to the last dollar. This restaurant deserves references not only for their food, but their integrity!

The food was very tasty and the presentation was great too. The staff is very nice. The cost was very reasonable for the food quality. I have paid more at other Mexican restaurants just because of the atmosphere. And by the way, Azul Tequila has a very cool atmosphere.
The shredded beef taco is seasoned really well. The chicken and steak fajitas were very good too. I especially like that you can order any 2 sides with the fajitas (the tortillas automatically come with) and the selections include black beans, grilled veggies and fried plantains.

Not sure why a place needs 100 different tequilas to choose from when ordering a margarita, but hey it’s their gimmick.
Interesting mix of mex-american food. All in all a good experience.
Little slow on the service but believe they are always working to improve.
Never seems to be full though so hope they can sustain.
