I’ve been going to Helene for almost 10 years. She does my skin care, my waxing and my laser treatments. She’s amazing at what she does and always so so sweet. She makes you feel super comfortable. She’s amazing at what she does, I’ll never go to anyone else for what she does.

Helene does amazing things with brows! She is so knowledgeable about skin care, I always have a great experience in there.

I have had services done by Cloud 9 Spa many times and have been very happy every time. I highly recommend this place if your looking for professionalism and a great job!

This place is awesome! I had a facial here yesterday. Helene took the time to evaluate my skin and determine the best treatment for me. She was knowledgable, patient, and made my experience relaxing and enjoyable. My skin was glowing afterwards and wasn’t red or puffy like I’ve seen happen after extractions. I will return and highly recommend!

I was a bit worried about the pain factor, but Helene did such a wonderful job allaying my fears. Her friendly personality completely changed the entire procedure into something fun and relaxing!
Was there pain? Yes, of course… but anyone who goes for waxing should know this!
Note– Helene works FAST, so if you are looking to be coddled and pampered, then best look elsewhere.

I feel a little bad about leaving this review because Helene seemed nice but my experience there was really poor.
When I arrived, Helene told me that she had double-​booked and asked me to wait.
A woman was already in the room receiving a treatment so she moved her across the hall (in a towel) so that she could wax me really quickly. She stayed in the room while I undressed, constantly telling me to hurry up. I had to put my clothing on the table because the other woman’s clothes were on the floor! The wax lasted about 10 minutes and hurt terribly. I felt a bit sore on the drive home and realized that I developed dark red, itchy skin in that area. I have been getting waxed for 5 years and never had a problem with sensitivity. The redness and pain lasted 2 – 3 days.
I realize that Helene double-​booked and that sort of thing happens, but the professional thing to do would have been to re-​book me and do my wax for free. Instead, she tried to cut corners and that’s really not a safe thing to do when you’re waxing someone’s privates. I wanted to give this place another try and see if my experience would be different if Helene wasn’t so rushed but I don’t want to risk it.

I love Helene! I’ve had pigmentation issues around my eye area for many years, and every other product, diet or lifestyle change did not improve my skin’s overall health as much as Helene’s facials. She has gone out of her way to try new products that have also alleviated the symptoms, and most importantly she is a breeze to get along with. A lively and unassuming personality, Helene makes you feel at ease in any situation (even for those awkward bikini waxes!). Her services are located within ‘Amadam’ hair salon so its not a full-​blown ‘spa’ experience, but Helene’s expertise and quality work (at a reasonable price) will leave you satisfied & relaxed regardless. Definitely recommended!

I went to Helene for my first Brazilian wax she is so friendly and made me feel so comfortable I almost forgot what I was doing!!! I recommend her to anyone who needs any type of wax she is great and her prices are good!!! I have also used her for other waxing!

I purchased a Groupon for a facial with Helene. I had been recommended by someone to see her for a facial. The spa is located in a hair salon called Amadam. Helene is very friendly, down-​to-​earth and warm. The spa itself is a no fuss, no frills type of place — she uses Dermalogica products. I think if you have fairly sensitive skin, just warn her in advance because the Dermalogica products can be very strong. However, the results are amazing — Helene is very thorough with her extractions and upon leaving her spa, my skin’s condition has improved. I have to say her extractions are much less painful than other places I have been to, and she really does make a conscious effort to get everything out of your face versus leaving bits and pieces to harpoon you in for additional treatments or to push products on you. She’s got a great temperament. I appreciate her facials although she does leave you to steam and leaves the room, you don’t feel pressured to talk to her during the entire process like in some spas where the estheticians can be extremely chatty whilst you’re getting your treatment. Compared to other places, this isn’t an establishment you’d go to for the ambience but if you’re going to get honest results — this is definitely the place for you. I would recommend this establishment if you have acne prone skin or problematic skin because you’ll definitely see results.

I decided to go to Cloud 9 to see Helene for a wax because of the great reviews on Unilocal.SO glad I did! She’s amazing. Booking an appointment with her is really easy — she does everything via text message. I had a hard time finding the place as Cloud 9 is inside of the Amadam Salon on Central Ave in Pearl River. But I called Helene to ask her where she was located and she guided me right to it. She’s so sweet and funny, and the wax was super quick! I used to go to the European Wax Center, and now I’ll never go anywhere but to Helene. Totally worth it!

Loved Helene. She was so kind and welcoming. She put me at ease and even went further than what I signed up for… great skin advice as well. Such a big change in the morning. Loved it!

Helene is wonderful. She is SO down to earth and when you meet her, it will feel like you’ve known her for years. I’ve only seen her three times so far but I feel so comfortable while there — let’s face it, getting a wax is always a little awkward, but not with Helene.
As for the wax itself — it was wonderful! I first went to Helene with a Groupon and was slightly hesitant but after reading one review here on Unilocal,I decided to give it a go. I’m so glad I did.
Helene also specializes in massages and facials, although I have yet to book one of those services with her

I highly recommend Helene for bikini waxing and skin care treatments. It was my first time getting a Brazilian wax and she was especially friendly and good at calming my nerves. She explained everything about the procedure and left no surprises, which I really appreciated. She also explained to me afterwards how to properly take care of my newly bare skin. I can’t believe how relatively painless my first Brazilian wax was!

I recently bought a Groupon for Cloud 9 Skin Care & Body Work Center for waxing. It was a great deal and the center is close to my home, so I thought what could be the harm in trying!
I had an amazing experience at the center. I walked in and was waited on immediately. More importantly, waxing is an uncomfortable situation but Helene, my waxer, made me feel so comfortable and at ease.
I am so glad I bought this Groupon because I found a new center for all my waxing needs and even other services that I plan on trying.
