This is my neighborhood gym and I love the fact that it’s just seconds away from shadow creek ranch where I live.
This place has a small gym feel with all the large gym amenities. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The trainers are very accommodating and knowledgeable. I’ve been coming to this gym for over a year and compared to few other gyms I’ve been to in the past, this is by far the best from all aspects.

I really love this gym! It has everything you need to kick your own ass plus you can bring a guest for free any time so this gym work perfect for me when my daughter wants to tag along

I love working out here ! This place is the perfect size and has everything you need. The staff are friendly and willing to help, plus it’s open 24 hours !!! They also have daycare while you workout for 10 $ a month I believe.

Not the biggest place the equipment isn’t that great either. It’s open 24/​7, it’s not too crowded but 5 – 7 is a mad house. It’s cheap and has the basics for a work out. If a 24 or golds opens up close by it it’ll be gone though.

I currently have the 3 month pass for about $ 90 for college students, and I am quite satisfied with my purchase. The gym is well maintained, and there is always staff on hand at any hour for questions or concerns.
Body Evolution has all the essentials for getting into shape and strengthening compound movements. They have two power racks, which are perfect for squatting and overhead pressing. There is plenty of space to find room to deadlift, and there are several benches for bench pressing and incline pressing. There are also a wide variety of different cardio equipment from ellipticals to the stairmaster. My only complaint would be some of the weight machines might not be of the highest quality.
I work out about 5 – 6 times a week, and Body Evolution gives me all the essential tools for success!

I have been a member at this gym for about 2 years now. Yesterday I experience something that really upset me to the point of looking for another gym. I am in my mid 40’s. I attend their workout classes during the week and have been doing so since I joined. I have seen so many changes since I have joined but now they are just ridiculous. I can understand down sizing the gym for budgetary reason in space or services/​classes offered but customer service should not be affected.
I was planning on attending the cycle class that was scheduled on their website. When I arrived there was no one in the room where they hold the class. There was no note on the door. I then went to the front desk and asked a trainer if they were teaching the class. They responded no and that they did not know who was teaching that class. They mentioned that the person who normally teaches that class would be out until next week. This comment was something that had already been said the previous week. So do they even know when she is returning? I then asked why did they not post that the class had been cancelled and they did not know the answer. I then made the comment of «I don’t know what to do now». The second person at the front desk then made the comment «oh just get on a bike and play a Youtube video». The trainer offered to train me for a few «bucks» if I wanted them too. I then turned around and went to the room where the bikes were at and rode the bike on my own. A few minutes later another member arrived and asked about the class. After I explained there would be no one to teach it she was upset and had no choice but to just join me. After 45 minutes she left. This class was the reason why she too had gone to the gym that day.
Well if I wanted to watch a Youtube video I would do that at home on my stationary bike. If I wanted a personal trainer I would have already purchased the sessions.
Now as I mentioned before, I am in my mid 40’s. I am not comfortable doing free weights or using the equipment with the weights at the gym alone. Not only because I would not know what moves to do but also because I am not sure if I’m doing the moves correctly and would like to avoid ANY type of injury. This is the reason why I attend the class workouts.
The more I thought about it the more upset I got. Not only was it wrong for one employee to suggest using Youtube but for the other employee to suggest to pay them when clearly you were not working with a customer at the time was just rude! I am sure if I was a perky 20 year old they would have jumped to assist in any way possible. In the past when the scheduled trainer did not show up for class one of the owners would even teach the class. Im not sure that the owner is even aware of what goes on anymore. Some of my the other complaints not only from myself but also voiced by other member are trainers arriving late for a class they are teaching, cutting the class short in time, personal trainers eating while training a customer, and the cleanliness and smell of the gym. I know its a gym but come on!

This is the type of place that eventually grows on you… at first I was disappointed. This place doesn’t have the new equipment that other gyms have, they don’t have a sauna, heck they only have one shower… that I am glad I live so close that I hopefully will never have to use. Its not disgusting looking, but I am not big on using showers at gyms. But I do like the fact that it is friendly… its seems most people are very approachable, everything you basically need is there, its just figuring out how some of the equipment works, finding the perfect time to go to where all the machines aren’t used up. They also offer classes such as spin, kickboxing and boot camps. They also have trainers, nutrition plans, and kids room.

I joined Body Evolution in April 2014, and I’ve been a member for 6 months now. My prior fitness history is not very long; I spent a year at Dynamic Fitness, then almost two years at a local CrossFit affiliate, before coming to BE. Here is what I like about BE.
CrossFit:
I am not their CF (CrossFit) member. But they let all non-​CF members use their CF area and equipment when the CF class is not going on. This is really great, and as far as I know, this is the only gym in this neighboorhood that has ²⁴⁄₇ access CF open gym (CF open gyms are usually available only for a few hours, once a week, and only to their members, in a typical CF gym). Because I worked out at a CF affiliate for almost two years, I feel comfortable to CF on my own, and I absolutely love the freedom to workout whenver I want (as opposed to only when classes are available), follow my own program (as opposed to do the affiliate’s program), and not having to wait for other people to show up to class and set up the equipment (that’s how it was in the affiliate I used to go to). Their CF area is not big, but still big enough to do a short sprint, and you can always go outside to do a longer running. They have all basic CF equipment plus more (they even have a rope!!) Also, although I am not a member of CF, I met some of the CF coaches and chat with them every now and then, and I am very impressed with their knowledge, experiences, and coaching styles. I can tell they are very high quality coaches.
Classes:
I go to morning classes. Most of the classes are taught by either Patrick or Clancie, and they are FANTASTIC coaches/​instructors. They are VERY experienced in training people, and very creative with their programming. And they are tough! I personally find those classes harder than CrossFit classes (but safer!), and I love that their programs work on your endurance and muscle building at the same time. But don’t get scared, you can always scale the workout to fit your fitness level. If you constantly attend their classes, you will see a pretty quick change in your body composition!
Kickboxing:
Patrick also coaches a kickboxing club in BE. It is for an additional fee, but to me, it’s worth it. It is not a typical cardio kickboxing where your forms don’t really matter and the main goal is to burn calories. Patrick really cares about your form, and every class is different. One day he might emphasize on kicks, one day it’s all about basic forms, one day more endurance work, etc… It is a real martial art, self defense class. And great for developing a strong core and lean muscles!
Atmosphere:
The gym is owned by a married couple, Shawn and Veronica, and it’s not a franchise. Because of that, the gym has a very at-​home atmosphere, and I find people very friendly. Owners are there all the time, and they know your name and always say hi. I can tell that owners’ personalities are heavily reflected in the gym. I believe that the owners want to support various types of exercise, and everybody’s body is different and what works for you is the best exercise for you. For example, often I see CFers looking down on non-​CF exercises and weight lifters being anti-​CF. But at BE, you see both coexisting together. Not only that, they also offer real kickboxing and Hot Yoga (Bikram) (both for additional fees). And a very high level of classes (included in gym membership!). And nutrision programs, too.
Overall:
I am very happy I joined BE. I really cannot ask for a better place to workout. Thank you, Shawn and Veronica!

I tried out the Crossfit program at this location for a few months. The Crossfit staff at this location are not very skilled at teaching and program design. Unfortunately, lack of quality instructors is something very common in CrossFit, and this place is no exception.

The facility is nice. It’s not big like other gyms, but it was completely fine with me. Both my friend and I got to pay $ 24.99 monthly since that was what we paid when we were at Dynamic, which was really awesome. The staff was very friendly too which was nice. I was always greeted when I came in and when I left, which made me feel more welcome. When I joined, there wasn’t many people there and I didn’t know anyone so I felt comfortable working out, but although it’s a little more crowded now since they renovated and expanded it, I still never felt like I was being judged there.
Unfortunately, I had to cancel my membership because I didn’t have time any more for the gym since I’m back in school and I work. I only kept going until my year was over to prevent paying the termination fee of $ 150. All my friend and I was there for was a cancellation, and I knew they were going to persuade us to stay which was normal when you cancel your membership. I didn’t need to be told, «You’re going to die at thirty,» because I didn’t plan to work out as much since I’m thinking about school first. Not only that, the guy pulled up my picture to compare me from the time I joined to now and basically said I gained more weight since then. If telling me that I was fatter and I was going to die at thirty was the strategy, I was more compelled to cancel as soon as possible. At least when I was at Dynamic they understood that school was first priority and let me quit without a question.
I’m still giving the gym three stars because it really is a nice and friendly facility, it’s open 24/​7, and has various machines to use, but after that situation, I was not happy and not planning to go back.

Medium size easy to access gym that opens ²⁴⁄₇. It has all the equipments you need to work out. It also has a dance studio aka yoga class and basketball course. Pretty cheap monthly membership too.

Outstanding facility. Always clean and safe. Local owners are husband and wife who are experts at their craft unlike other «chain» operators. WKC obviously a shill for the competition. Been a member 3years and never have felt unsafe or seen any incidents.
Classes, trainers, solo work with a plethora of equipment. This is the real deal. My trainers Tino and Patrick are highly skill, patience and hard working, committed to your success.

Michael is a true professional trainer and motivator. I have been training with Michael for 8 weeks and during this time under his professional guidance I have noticed tremendous results in my body composition and physical performance. Not only has my energy level and strength increased tremendously but I have also seen fat loss while gaining lean muscle. If you seek true results from a professional certified trainer then look no where else! I highly recommend Michael as a personal trainer!

Michael is my personal trainer and I have to say he is a life changer,
My previous workouts were random and without direction. Michael takes you at whatever fitness level you are at and develops a program to help you achieve your goals.
Mine are weight loss and strength training and my workouts with Michael are always perfectly balanced between challenging and (I hate to say it) fun!
I say that because he is always changing things up, using terms like muscle confusion (finally my muscles will match my mind) so this keeps things interesting.
I appreciate that he really concentrates on proper form and I always feel perfectly safe following his lead on how to do an exercise because he knows what he is doing. My energy level is tripled since I became a client.
Before, I would avoid getting down on the floor to play with my husky (she’s a dog people, get your minds out of the gutter) Now I am wrestling her all the time.
It is amazing to me that such a change can take place with the right person helping you. Michael always says he chose this field because he wants to help people. I believe it is really his goal to help every client have a better, more energetic life.

This is a great gym. Friendly staff and lots of variety. They have free weights, weight equipment, treadmills, CrossFit, bootcamp, various classes including Kickboxing, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba etc. They also have ample parking and childcare. Open 24-​hours! The owners are helpful and nice. I’d highly recommend this gym for all your workout needs!

I had a GREAT experience here! In the Houston area for work and needed a place to drop in and workout for the day.
VERY friendly staff. My coworker and I were greeted with a smile and enthusiasm, charged a very fair day rate, and were able to work out.
The gym–
SUPER clean and also very complete. They had everything you needed, and there is also so much space. This is especially nice that you don’t have to walk real close to people lifting to get to a machine or anything. And, it provides plenty of room if you wanna step back and do some lunges, cleans, etc. There were even a couple new machines I had never seen before. The free weight selection was also very complete as well.
Came in here for legs and was able to find everything I needed, and more. Also liked that the squat racks are set up with bars for pull ups-​made for a nice super set.
Anyway, my legs are on fire today so thank you Body Evolution! I highly recommend this gym.

My husband and I were members for about three years. I loved this gym and am sad we are moving away from Pearland. I took a lot of classes here. The instructors/​trainers want you to get in a good workout and push you to progress, up your weights, and build your endurance, yet in a nice way with modifications for those who are new to working out. I really liked how this was a local family owned business vs a chain. Shawn and Veronica are always there greeting members by name and making sure you are doing ok. I’m definitely in the best shape I’ve ever been!

I still believe this gym is highly unsafe and unprofessional. Banks and gas stations have cameras too, yet crimes still happen. So for the owner to claim cameras will ensure people’s safety is questionable. My wife and I along with our neighbors have taken our business elsewhere. I highly suggest you check out other gyms in the Pearland area with REAL 24 hour access with employees stationed at the front counter during operating hours. After reading the owners reply, you can see that he is obviously ignorant to safety precautions and does not treat paying customers with respect nor value their business. He is however great at attempting to discredit my wife and running surveillance videos on her. She was a paying member who simply wanted to do some cardio in the evenings and didn’t buy a key card because we were told its not required, only optional.
Here’s an idea, if a key card is so vital to the safety and access to your gym, why were we allowed to purchase 2 memberships without buying a key card? Why not make it mandatory or just add the cost of the key card as part of the membership dues?
My only goal is to make sure women and men are safe, and your cameras certainly don’t make me feel any safer. I know Walmart has cameras in their parking lots, yet violent crimes still occur quite often. You as the business owner should take every precaution possible to ensure the safety of your members and not just belittle them.
By the way, all my friends and family are now members at Dynamic fitness in Pearland and we LOVE it! They are friendly, professional, and are always fully staffed 24 hours. I’ll gladly pay for the slightly higher membership fees instead of worrying about my wife working out alone with no staff. Take care and God bless.

When I first stopped by this gym (about 2 months ago) I had NO intention what-​so-​ever of joining… I had a pedicure appointment at the spa in the same business center and Only because my technician was running behind 30 minutes did I decide to check out Body Evolution. I’m glad I did — HOWEVER– be warned: if you do not intend, or are not prepared, to commit to a membership at the time you walk through those doors — –DON’T DO IT. They will try any and every thing within their power to get you signed up and involved THAT DAY…
Fortunately for me, I was already in «a place» where I’ve been wanting to make some changes for overall fitness and health. With that being said, Body Evolution had everything I didn’t even know I wanted to help me accomplish my goals and achieve success.
The BEST part: it doesn’t smell like a gym. No «sw-​azz» here… (sw-​azz: sweaty @$$). From the first step inside all the way through to the weight training area and basketball court is freshness. The gym is SUPER clean and intimate. At the busiest time of day, there were ample machines and weights available to do what I would want to do. the staff were very personable and down-​to-​earth. They ALL have a story either once fat now fit or fit but skinny and now fit & lean/​muscular. Something for everyone.
Thanks to Tom, Nate and Veronica, I immediately felt comfortable and «at home» in this gym. I’ve recently signed up for their personal training package. We’ll see how things go for the next 6 months. I’ll be sure to update my review and possibly post some pics but SO FAR SO GOOD.

This place is great! I’ve been a member of other major chain gyms and other independent gyms here and in other cities and this place is top notch.
It’s small enough that everyone knows you. Staff always greets me by name before I check in, they actually know it. They’re big enough to have any and all the equipment and classes you’d need.
The bod pod is pretty cool too. It’s a super scientific and accurate approach to measuring body fat percentage and BMI.
I’ve already recommended it to most of my friends, just saw a negative review (for a pretty silly reason) and had to recommend it here too. Stop by, it’s worth it!
I exercise with a trainer twice a week and couldn’t be more thrilled with the results.
