Miss Marie’s Maids

I hired the company, in January to come out and clean my house. I was told that I would receive a phone call the day before the service to let me know what time they would be out the next day … should of known when they didn’t call to confirm that something wasn’t right. I ended up calling them the day of the service to find out if they were coming. My service was bi-​weekly. On the next cleaning service day, they just didn’t show up … no phone call or nothing. Save your time and MONEY … and bypass this group.

My wife and I have employed MMM for about 5 months now. Initially, they were pretty decent. One of them actually understood English. After awhile, the cleaning service got shorter and shorter. Soon, they were in and out of my 4 bedroom house within the hour. Last time, we gave them the garage code to get in the house and when I got home, the floors were still littered with cat hair balls. In addition, the bathrooms were not cleaned very well at all. They have a history of sending only Spanish speaking maids so you have to call the main office to convey a message to them. BTW, they don’t ask questions if uncertain. There were very few times that we saw the same set of maids so we had to teach the new maids the cleaning criteria every time. I ALWAYS had to remake the beds following a linen change because they NEVER tuck in the sheets or bedding!

How much cleaning could I need as a single guy? Well, it turns out a lot more than I expected being a single guy with two roommates. While we kept the place tidy on a daily basis, no one ever took time to CLEAN. Miss Marie’s Maid Service came in once a month to wipe down the ceiling fans, mop the floor, clean the refrigerator and just clean and dust in a way that I often overlooked. The best cleaning service in Houston!

I was very impressed with the service I received from Miss Marie’s Maids. Great attention to detail and pleasant service. I would definitely continue to use their services. The prices were very reasonable for the professional service we received.

I just had a baby so I really needed a good cleaning service that was inexpensive. I looked in the neighborhood coupon book and Miss Marie’s cleaning seemed reasonable. Two ladies came out to my home and they stayed for about four hours and they made a complete and total mess. I posted pictures of what my home looked like after they left. I contacted the office after they left and sent them pictures and told the office staff what a horrible job the ladies did. The office staff said that they would send someone back out to clean up this mess but it took a day or so for them to get back to me to schedule a reclean. The initial clean does not include cleaning dust from under the furniture or vaccuming between the couch cushions. It does not include moving the lamps and dusting under them per the manager. I still don’t understand why I had to pay for an initial clean when I obviously didn’t get one. I sent pictures to the manager and they told me the pictures make things look worse than they actually are. They did offer the clean my base boards for free and to clean my oven for free on my next visit. My question to the manager is why would l let you back into my home after you did such a horrible job on this initial clean? I have more pictures of the mess that they made of my home if you would like to see them. Oh and they did come back out and reclean. The reclean was a little better than the initial and from the conversation that I got from the office assistant I thought that my first clean would be complementary since they had to come out to my home twice and waste my time. All in all the cleaning service was not worth the money that was spent.
