Pearland Professional Vision

The doctor was kind, but her office manager did not reflect the same. We had difficulty working with the office manager to receive the 1-​year warranty for my child’s glasses. My wife and I had several exchanges with the office manager and were quite surprised at how she cared very little about the customer. Upon reading our original Unilocal review, the doctor immediately responded and corrected the situation. She was very kind and quick to uphold the warranty. The doctor is wonderful, and I think we were dealing with an isolated issue as it relates to her staff.

Staff is reasonably polite. Not super friendly, but nice enough to complete a basic transaction with. The opthalmologist is very friendly. Eye exam reasonably priced. Wait never seems to be too long. Cost of the lenses is good. The frames are crazy expensive. $ 250 for some bent wire and plastic? Geez, no thanks. If you ask, they have a discount frame bin where you can get something reasonable (read: $ 50-​$ 90). They earn top marks for that. I mean what really counts is the lenses. It’s like buying a $ 50 iPod and sticking it in a $ 300 case.

My family has been coming to see Dr. Gisbert for three years. She is thorough, friendly, and never makes us feel rushed. She answers all of our questions in terms we can understand. Although I have not purchased frames from her because I still have old ones I am using, the frame selection is large and VERY stylish. Getting an appointment that fits our schedule is easy. The only downside this year was I found out when I got there they had stopped taking my vision insurance a week before my appointment.

Office staff was VERY friendly which is hard to come by nowadays. I had zero wait time and waited about two minutes in the room for the doctor to come in. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes on a Saturday. The only very minor downside is you have to order your contacts which take a week to come in, so be sure to have an extra pair handy just in case. I have recommended this place to my husband who now has an appointment next Saturday. I will definitely be returning!!! 5 stars is not enough for this place!

Great office, the staff was friendly, patient and helpful. Dr. Gisbert is a breath of fresh air! She has a wonderful personality, she has great bedside manner and she’s very knowledgeable. No wait time and no trouble scheduling.

Third visit with Dr. Amie. It’s easy to get an appointment that fits my schedule and like others have mentioned, it’s so nice to speak to a live person when you call. I recently had to cancel an appointment at the last minute because I got a phone call telling me that a family member had passed away. The staff was so supportive and understanding and I was not charged for the missed appointment. They immediately scheduled me for the following week for the same day and time.
Dr. Amie is very knowledgeable in her field and always explains exactly what she’s doing, as well as why she’s doing it. She is also very good about telling me what my insurance will cover and what I might have to pay out of pocket. Then she lets me choose what I want to do. My daughter recommended Dr. Amie to me, I recommended her to my husband and we all definitely recommend her to you!

This place has it right. Friendly staff when you walk in but Dr. Gisbert is what makes this a great place to check your vision. She is friendly, knowledgeable and takes time to answer questions. Highly recommend it if you need to get your eyes checked.

There a lot of Vision places to choose from, seems there is one on every block. However, there is only one Dr. Amy Gisbert. She is incredible. She has a great personality and truly listens and cares about her patients. I never once felt pressured to buy anything I didn’t feel I needed. I felt she was conservative on treatment options. Her fees are reasonable and the service can’t be matched. I could always be seen when needed and so nice to hear a live person answer the phone when calling. Unfortunately, we have moved about 1.5 hours away and I foolishly sought eye care at another eye doctor and I had a horrific experience. She was even able to help me over the phone with my issues. Since I receive eye exams yearly, I will gladly drive the distance to see her. Thanks for everything!

Dr. Gisbert is by far the best optometrist in the area. She is such a caring and friendly person. She goes out of her way to make sure her patients are as comfortable as possible, is super easy to talk to, and explains everything in detail so that it’s easy to understand. I have been seeing her for four years now, and I always look forward to my appointments. Her staff is also very friendly and efficient. I recommend Pearland Professional Vision to everyone I know who lives in this area, and I even got my parents to make the drive from Missouri City to become patients of hers. They now love her as much as I do! :)

Was here a few minutes ago for an eye exam.
Pros: new technology/​equipment, clean bright office space and many options in glass styles. Dr. Gispert is friendly, knowledgeable (she answered my questions like a patient teacher), upbeat, & provided a great exam experience. I was seen at the exact scheduled time of my appointment.
I’ll update once I return to try the contacts she ordered for me.

Dr. Gisbert and her team were professional and welcoming. I felt comfortable and in good hands. Dr. Gisbert spent time to explain everything to me and was very personable. Her staff helped me find a great pair of frames and I was in and out before I knew it!

I have been in glasses/​contacts since 6^th grade so I’ve been to my fair share of optometrist. Dr. Gisbert and her staff are top notch never felt more comfortable I couldn’t wait to go back for my follow up visit. You won’t be disappointed if you decide to go here.

Dr. Gisbert and her staff are always wonderful.
They have appointments on Saturday mornings which are very helpful for busy weekday schedules. They are always prompt… they basically take you for your work with the technician once you arrive. The office is also very clean and organized. Dr. Gisbert is very friendly and knowledgeable. She will explain vision care to you so that you understand how important it is and how you can play a part in maintaining good ocular health. I highly recommend this office to other Unilocalers in the Houston/​Pearland/​Alvin/​Manville area.

I LOVE this office. Dr. Gisbert is such has such a lovely «bed side» manner. She is very professional, thorough, and helpful with all your eye issues. Terrible customer service. I made an appointment 6 weeks prior because the doctor only was available on one day of the week. I thought I better reconfirm my appointment two days prior and they said the doctor left the practice and no doctors would take the appointment. So I would have showed up and really been mad. Not my type of service.
