I asked for a call 45 minutes prior to delivery. the delivery driver called me when he was at the property the first time. obviously I can’t be there. the second time they called me 10 minutes from the property. Another miss. finally a manager call me and guaranted that they will call me 40 minutes when they were from the property– someone called me 20 minutes from the property I told him that I would leave now but it would take me 45 minutes. he agreed that he would wait. I text him every step of the way until I arrived at the property only to discover that he was not there and would not return. He could have let me know before i made the trek, or even when he had to leave. this is 4 hours of my life wasted trying to get hhgregg to deliver I will return my Appliance and buy it somewhere else

The incompetency of this store is beyond imagine. Please take these Unilocal reviews seriously. If there are several one star reviews with valid explanation, there has to be some truth to the matter!!! I recently bought a fridge and once delivered, the delivery workers were in such a hurry that they took apart my doors and the fridge to set it up!!! Once installed it was put on showroom setting without the attachment of a water line. To get someone to come out and fix it was like bashing my head against the wall. The manager informed me that it was my fault because my mother was there to supervise the install. Huh? What? He also refused to give me his name and transferred me to the delivery department. Fernando answered and was bewildered as to why I was transferred there. He was kind enough to answer what he could. To make the situation worse. I was informed that my BRAND NEW fridge had actually been returned before and was past the warranty. It had been on the floor for two years. Apparently they never reported as they were supposed to. Talk about fraudulent activity !!! I’m assuming that is why the manager refused to give his name! Please be wary of your purchases here. BEWARE!!!

I bought a small $ 317 computer on Nov 28 and wrapped it for Christmas. It didn’t work at all once opened so I took it back and they kept it til the warranty was up, said they fixed it but it was so slow it wouldn’t work properly so I took it back again asking for a credit to even buy a better quality computer that could be faster but because by then it was past warranty days, they would not return or exchange it. I am now in the process of buying brand new appliances for my entire home but you won’t catch me going there with such poor customer service. They have to know people start Christmas shopping by November 28 and who would even guess a brand new computer would be defunct? They stuck me with it and I never forget anything good or bad. See my other reviews. Most good. They have no idea how much $$ they lost in appliance sales from me, and now maybe you by just not being honest. Imagine you spend thousands and it just stops working? I just bought a new washer and dryer from Brandsmart.

I purchased our main television set here in 2013. I also opted for the extended service plan (5 years). I am not writing anything about my experience in the store, as I do not remember anything good or bad about it. This review is about the scam of a Warranty service that they offer.
Within a year the TV broke down. This repair order was handled promptly and within a week my TV was working again. This was covered by the factory warranty which is why there were no delays and no problems. Then the TV broke again about a year and a half after that. Now we are dealing with the HHGregg extended warranty and the circus that begins at that point.
They assign it to a local repair facility. That facility then requests a part from HHGregg. I was told that it takes a MINIMUM of 7 to 10 business days to arrive. The company then calls me the next day and asks me to repeat the model and serial number just to make sure they got it right. Then, HHGregg approves the part and ships it from some place in Georgia. 16 days later, 11 business days, I call to find out what is going on.
I am told that the minimum time for the parts to arrive from wherever they come from is 7 – 10 business days but that they have seen it take months. The local repair facility advises me to call HHGregg again and see what is happening with the parts. I call and they tell me it has been approved over 2 weeks ago and that they are waiting on a shipment from their facility in Georgia.
I am still waiting for the part to arrive. This is a ridiculous amount of time and I have been given the run around for too long. HHGregg can only tell me that the part is coming from some place in Georgia and they don’t know where or how to track it down. They cannot give me a phone number to call and they cannot call themselves. Only thing they could do was re-​submit the part request. This is a joke. This is the first and LAST time I do business with HH Gregg. Their warranty repair service is disgusting. STAY AWAY!

This store is absolutely awful. They are incompetent and what seemed to be like the manager was sitting on her ass directing everyone else to do everything while she was eating her chinese food and sprite. Its amazing how these people can deliver such horrible customer service. I had to drive all the way to another store to find out that the store didnt have the product I wanted either. I was so upset. NEVER AGAIN! Best buy or target for me. They have their stuff together!

I would not recommend this store to anyone. My wife was groped by one of the sales man. Also the stove we purchased was damaged. The general manager is terrible. The district manager Thomas Hall is terrible. They should fire all of them. I called thomas to explain my situation and was never given a response. Like everything they do, he blew me off. I know they have good deals but it isn’t worth it. The customer service is horrible. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.
I know when the district manager reads this he will know who it is. I have all there responses and I am reaching out to the CEO of this company so he can hopefully do something. I am even thinking about contacting Channel 7 on your side. It’s not about the money, people need to be held accountable for what they do.
And again they didn’t do nothing.
P.S don’t sign anything, they will use it To there advantage. The washing machine I purchased broke my floor and the lying driver said he couldn’t install it because of my wall and it was because he was lazy. He even tried hustling me out of money to install my items.
DONT deal with this company. Read all the issues. You will be sorry!!!

Only HH Gregg I’ve ever been to. Very unprofessional and rude staff! I’m not easily disappointed but this place sucks don’t waste your time or money! Managers were so rude it was embarrassing!

Purchased a front load Samsung washer and dryer. Delivered in a timely manner. First the washer/​dryer arrived. Everything looked good. Then the pedestals arrived about a week later and that’s where the problems began. Different delivery guys. They didn’t install them properly; the water was not turned on so my husband had to pull out the heavy thing in order to reach where the water turns on. We were not able to push the machine back cuz it’s so heavy. So it’s not in it’s proper space. The dryer was not installed property, it makes some crackling noise where it didn’t do that before the pedestals arrived and it had to be reinstalled for the pedestals to be installed. Then for the worse part: ITS MISSING PARTS! Not one, not 2, but 8 PARTS in total! At first we thought that they just come that way. The parts cover the sharp raw cut metal edges where the feet of the washer/​dryer meet the pedestals. We went to Hhgreg to see how they are installed in the store but they didn’t have the parts installed so we thought «well, guess they come that way.»
5 months later I happen to be in Best Buy, I see my machines WITH THE MISSING PARTS installed! Best Buy had them installed properly. So I took a picture, went to Hhgregg, showed the associate, showed the manager, and they say: «OH YES, WE JUST THROW THEM AWAY!» Really? «Oh and we can’t do anything about it because it’s been 5 months!!!»
Escalated the issue, sent emails, manager was going to call us back. Over 2 weeks and still waiting.
Worse part is we are share holders of Hhgregg :(so disappointed.
Don’t trust them with appliances or anything that needs to be installed. They just throw parts away!

Came in, has I was looking around, I say about 5min. Or so, not one guy stop to help, found what I needed and went to checkout! !Sad and the store wasn’t that busy at 8:15pm:(

Very helpful staff, clean and so much quieter than Best Buy. Prices were the same or lower for the products we purchased.

Wow this store sucks. They don’t price match anything and the general manager is a major douche. No wonder this store is always empty, I’m sticking with best buy or target. I went in and they said they don’t price match on items that are not in stock. I showed him that it was in stock and he decided to change the policy to «we don’t price match on items that are only limited quantities.» This guy is a joke and I just left and picked it up at best buy. Lunch break for the entire store?

My husband and I purchased our second kitchen of Whirlpool appliances within 2 years from HHGregg. This included a Whirlpool oven with Aqualift cleaning technology. I am a heavy cook and this oven does not clean. It allegedly softens the debris and you are to hand clean the oven afterwords. Whirlpool will not replace this oven with one that actually cleans, and blames me (the consumer) for not reading the owner’s manual prior to my purchase, which is not possible. HH Gregg lied to us and said this oven was great for self-​cleaning and high use. They misrepresented their product and will not take responsibility for their unethical salesmanship. Both managers, Manny and Hector, refused to let us exchange the oven for one that is what we asked for. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE! THEY LIE TO MAKE SALES AND WILL NOT ALLOW EXCHANGES FOR THEIR MISTAKES!

I have no complaints with this location. I received nothing but exceptional customer service and hospitality here. My girlfriend bought me a Samsung surround sound system for Christmas. It’s fair to say she is not part of the geek squad so she bought me the wired version when I was looking for something wireless.
Work as of late has been really busy, I have been putting in 50+ hours in the office. So today I finally got to exchange the device. Well out of there 30 day return policy and no receipt.
I received excellence service and spoke to the manager directly who exchanged the system for me and actually found something for me that better suits our needs at home. We went with a surround sound bar of the same brand. For our townhouse it’s a better fit and cleaner install, you avoid all the messy cables and it’s a quick and clean install.
I am very happy and satisfied. Thank you.

OMG! If you spend $ 6,000.00 do you think that these people would get it right?
Well if you are going to buy anything from HH Gregg then you should reconsider. They are the most inept company that I have have had the displeasure of dealing with and I would recommend that you buy your appliances anywhere else.
No one has a clue about how to treat customers correctly and they really need a lesson in how to work with the public. This is just another case of a chain store with their head up their rear-​end and if you want to avoid the pain and aggravation, I would suggest going to any other store!

I purchased washer and dryer there and the representative ronald hausbach who sold me the appliances tells me add the warranty. They cover everything. That whenever someone happens to call them right away and they will send someone to fix or you will get a replacement. I should have known better, since they just say that so they can make the sale. It is my fault that i didnt look into it better. Now I am stuck where my dyer is not drying enough and my waher is making a noise. I called the service department at hhgregg 877−456−9643 (technology insurance company), where i was told by the service rep that they will send someone out, however if they don’t find anything wrong with it that i would be charged for the service call! really!!! how do I know that the service rep that comes is legit! what if they work together, so then they dont have to pay any money out towards the repair!!! I ask the rep then why do I have warranty? I thought a warranty covered you whenever you feel that there is something wrong and needs to be looked at. She told me well if they don’t feel that there is no wrong, that I am responsible to pay. I am sooo aggravated!
IF YOU PURCHASE AN APPLIANCE FROM THEM DO NOT PURCHASE THE PREMIUM SERVICE PLAN ITS A SCAM!!! BY THE TIME YOU REALIZE IT WILL BE TO LATE, SINCE USUALLY NO ONE CALLS UNTIL AFTER 2 YEARS HAVE GONE BY. THEN THEY WILL GLADLY CANCEL THE COVERAGE, BUT YOU WILL ONLY GET A PRO-​RATED AMOUNT WHICH IS CRAP!
