I gave it a try because my friend recommended it. I would say that it’s not a great place to dine in but very good for take outs and enjoying a meal at your own home. I did just that — I ordered beforehand and collected my order. I tried the boneless orange chicken and it was just spectacular, full of great flavors and amazing taste. Would definitely recommend for everyone to try it — super crispy and you would not be able to get over it! The soups were great; the egg drop soup is one of my favorites. Really yummy and awesome!

We recently moved to the area and have yet to unpack the kitchen, so we’ve had a chance to try most of takeout that Pepperell has to offer. We did not enjoy the food at all. The people were very nice, the food is inexpensive and they do deliver, but I doubt that we’ll be returning.

While driving through Pepperell on a sunny Saturday afternoon, I came upon Main Street, which was blocked off due to a local parade. I ended up «pah-king mah cah» in an adjacent strip plaza next to China Express and watched the parade next to this restaurant. The staff from China Express was also watching the parade, so I figured I’d order lunch takeout from here after the parade had passed through(30 minutes later). The place is very old school, which is an order at the counter place with open kitchen and a few tables for eating in. The menu offerings include the standard Chinese dishes and items, most items under $ 10 and house special dishes $ 10.25-$ 14.75. 20 Lunch Specials(served Mon-Sat until 3PM) with pork fried rice, appetizer, and soup for $ 5.75-$ 7.50 and 20 Combination Plates($ 7.75-$ 9.25) served with appetizer and pork fried rice(except D20 Lo Mein). A few dim sum items are offered here too. For lunch takeout, I ordered the L20 Shrimp Lo Mein with Pork Fried Rice, 2 Crab Rangoons, and Hot & Sour Soup($ 7.25 plus tax), which was hot and ready in under 10 minutes. The portion of food was very generous and heavy(packed in a square styrofoam box) for the price. The lo mein dish had tender shrimp(cleaned) with cabbage and lots of fried onions tossed with soft noodles, tasty and on the oily side. The pork fried rice was tender roast pork chunks and onion. The crab rangoons were folded deep fried triangles filled with good amounts of cheese & crab stick mixture, crispy outside. The hot & sour soup had a medium spicy flavor broth with tofu, mushrooms, onion, pork, and bamboo. Overall, the food was very tasty and filling(enough for 3 meals) and a great amount of hot food at a very reasonable price(under $ 8 for lunch).

World of disappointment. Ordered dinner for my father and I for Father’s Day yesterday. The scallion pancake orders were smaller than they use to be and undercooked. The tofu I got was over cooked to the almost unchewable point. I refrained from ordering pork fries rice because I spent well over thirty so I knew I’d be getting a free one. Well they forgot to send it so there went half of my fathers meal. The lo mein was also greasy and sopping wet. This place went from my favorite to I really don’t care for how this last meal was. What a waste of my money. They said they’d send me the free rice next time but it didn’t help that my father had not much to eat and the fact it was pretty bad I dont know if I want to order from them again. Disappointed so badly by this place.

Fast and friendly, decent and relatively cheap. 3.5 stars Waiting to meet up with a friend and craving Asian food, I gave this place a try. The place, although mostly take-out, does have five tables(and a bathroom down the hallway that’s shared with other businesses). You walk up to the counter(or call in ahead of time), place your order, and they bring it to you when it’s ready. They’re not a wait staff, but I kind of liked being left alone while I ate with my dog(they didn’t say anything when I walked in with her, nor did they say anything about my lack of shoes, always a plus!) Anyway, the crab rangoons are pretty darn good. The pork buns are pretty close to traditional Chinese, but not exactly what I’m used to… Too much oyster sauce. The shrimp Thai noodles(Pad Thai) was really good and a really big portion, but I only got four shrimp in it! Since I ordered more than $ 15 worth, I got a free egg roll. It was huge and pretty not bad. All the food must have been cooked fresh, it was almost too hot when I started eating it. No water was given to me(until I asked for a cup) but the complimentary tea was pretty good. All in all it was better than what I expected when I walked into the place. And the girl working behind the counter was very nice and friendly to me, the shoeless girl with her dog.

Got a lunch special(egg foo, PFR, rangoon & egg drop soup) here today at 2pm. Nothing special. The kid behind the counter was very nice and actually ran out into the parking lot as I was pulling out because he forgot the 2 crab rangoon which came with my special. This kid deserves 5 stars. I’ll try this place again during the lunch rush as I’m sure the food will be fresher.

Really good and combo plates. I’ve never gone wrong with the crab rangoons or the spare ribs.

Excellent. Went here to grab a quick lunch between soccer games in Pepperell. Their lunch specials are an incredible deal, and the portion was huge. I’ll likely get at least another meal, maybe two out of what I brought home. The food was cooked fresh and came out piping hot. The sweet and sour soup was pretty good, often at these hole in the wall Chinese places it can be bland. The chicken stayed crispy under the sauce as well. Service was friendly, the dining room bare-bones(no wait staff), but this is primarily a takeout place. Cannot be beat for the price!

I have ordered take out a few times from this restaurant. The food was fresh and still hot when we brought it home. We tried a few of the rice dishes and pad thai. You get huge portions for cheap prices. The service is very good and noticed we were repeat customer’s. I can’t speak for the dine-in experience but great takeout!
