About two months ago, I was travelling from Portland, Oregon back to Socal when I encountered a car accident. I apparently fell asleep at the wheel during rush hour traffic and rear-​ended a stopped vehicle. I don’t remember much about the accident since I was temporarily knocked unconscious when my head slammed on the steering wheel. Fortunately for me, my PPO insurance is widely accepted by hospitals out of network. I was referred to doctor Ackroyd and he recommended me for a sleep study for sleep apnea. It turns out I have severe sleep apnea and was given a CPAP with a full mask. The last month and a half has been wonderful since my boyd has seen rapid improvement with the use of the CPAP. Thank you, Dr. Ackroyd, for your knowledge and expertise.

Dr. Ackroyd has been my sleep doctor for many years. My primary care provider had highly recommended that I see Dr. Ackroyd and I was fortunate to do just that. The doctor is kind and considerate, attentive to my needs, and a professional in every sense of the word. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about his field and communicates very well. He guided me through my sleep study and subsequent treatment beyond that. When I have needed to call or speak with him, he makes himself available and answers my questions. His appointments are never hurried and he will spend as much time as needed with me. I have always been pleased with my treatment and care. For anybody needing help with sleep disorders, I recommend seeing Dr. Ackroyd for all your needs.

Saw this con man for 15 minutes. All he did was show me various machines people use that have sleep apnea. He kept asking me which one I would want to order. It was very odd since I hadn’t done the sleep study yet there was no way he would know if I had a sleep disorder. Was told the sleep study would be free (as all sleep studies are). I didn’t even have the sleep study done as I canceled ahead of time then 4 months later he sends me a bill for $ 325. I received absolutely nothing. Good thing I didn’t have the sleep study since he had already made up his mind that I would be purchasing expensive sleep machines whether needed or not. Stand up to these corrupt doctors. Doctors are suppose to help people or they shouldn’t be doctors.: (
