Brian came out in 24hrs to inspect a odor/​concern I had about a possible infestation in my ducts. He and his crew got right to work and evaluated the problem very quickly directing me towards the likely root cause which would be the insulation itself. They could have replaced ducts etc and made it sound like part of the solution but they took the high road and gave me sound advice to correct the root cause. Very happy!

Phenomenal! The best in service and expertise. from the quick response to my first call, over to my house, diagnostics, parts out, new part in, FIXED. FAST as in under 30 minutes, WOW! Josh is an expert with a friendy smile and careful not to overcharge, Don’t mess around just call them.

Adam’s Heating and Cooling is the best! I was having trouble with my heater and Josh came and fixed it. He advocated for me with my landlady who was lagging on getting the thing repaired. He did not hesitate to respond when I smelled gas after the repair. (The heater is old and my landlady does things on the cheap.) He returned to my apartment after regular business hours to fix the leak immediately.
Josh is courteous, very knowledgable and skilled. He is also honest and has integrity. It is hard to find this kind of good old fashioned service. This company goes above and beyond what most heating and cooling companies do. I highly recommend Josh and Adam’s!

My hats off to Brian Adams and every member of his team. They installed a completely new heating and cooling system in my home and it is perfect!
My home is a bit challenging to work in, as I am sensitive to chemicals, yet they went about their work without exposing me to any chemicals, they took all my needs into account.
The system they recommended works like a dream, it is in fact excellent; it is quiet, efficient and easy to regulate. They also replaced the return ducting, cleaned the rest of the ducts, and then had the system tested for leaks, and it passed the test without problem.
The crew was simply extraordinary in every way, Brian, Sam and Dominic are the best. They managed the entire installation with great care for the property and frankly, blew our minds with their capability and kindness. They were here when they said they would be and finished on time as well.
To top it all off, they gave me a discount, and applied for a fat energy rebate for me through the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN), making the new system quite affordable. I highly recommend calling on them for all of your heating and air needs.

I called Adams based on customer reviews, and now want to add my applause. My AC stopped working and Adams came the next day. Josh looked at it and said it stopped because of PGE’s monitor which shuts down AC on very hot days, as was yesterday. He did not charge me a penny and gave me a clear understanding of the nature of the problem. I am grateful, and will call on them again when necessary.

Brian and team are the best in the business. Extremely honest and provide excellent service. We had just moved into a new house this past year and immediately encountered a problem with our Heating system. I called another HVAC company to fix it and when they arrived the technician took about two minutes and told me that I needed to spend $ 1200. I questioned this so I called a good friend who referred me to Adams Heating and Cooling. Within two hours they came to my house and performed a diagnostic and replaced the part (which he had on him) within 45 mintues of arriving. The cost was around $ 250 total. Subsequently I brought Brian back to replace our old ducting and they did a fantastic job. Call these guys they know the value of providing excellent Customer Service.

I’m a real estate agent. My client is in contract on a duplex. The heating/​cooling systems are on the roof. We need a report on their condition and a list of items that should be repaired or replaced with an estimate of the cost. The clock is ticking for the inspections period & my client is going out of the country.
I called one of the phone numbers on Adam’s web site & a real live person answered & said he’d have Brian call me. Within 5 mins. Brian called & understood what we needed. He set us up at the same time the pest inspector’s coming… Friday at 3:00.

These guys are solid! Brian went out of his way during the busy holiday season to pick up an inducer motor in Sacramento, so that my visiting family would have heat. Gus and Dominic also came to clean the ducts and made a few other repairs. They we’re prompt, professional and very friendly. Everything is working great and I couldn’t be happier. I will definitely be using them again.

At first, I was pleased with Brian at Adams Heating and Cooling. Albeit, he doesnt have the best social or talking skills, but I tend to associate that with a quirky honesty. Our first call was what I thought would be a free estimate of what needed to be done to our wall heater in a home we just purchased. He got here, took a look, and said it would be $ 95 to actually diagnose it. I hesitated, because I was under the impression it was a free estimate. So no, he does not give free estimates. He then took a look and told us it needed the heat exchanger cleaned so it will not continue to emit carbon monoxide. His fee for this was $ 300. We asked to make sure that was the only issue with this heater as $ 400 is a lot of money, and we wouldnt want anything else to be wrong with it. He assured us there werent. So, heater fixed ($ 400 is astronomical for the time and effort spend «cleaning» this heater), we moved in to our new house. The first night we started up the heater, it seemed «ok», but loud… whatever, its 30 years old! The second day I smelled gas. Called Pg&e, and they said there were several significant leaks in the valve, and flex tubes. They red tagged our heater and said to have it looked at. Called Brian back to ask him why these problems exist when he told me it was fine. He came out and was hostile, and unwilling to accept the responsibility for missing this extremely dangerous condition. I wanted him to fix the problem and was told he charged $ 250 an hour! plus parts What?! At that point I wanted him to fix it and not charge me an arm and a leg for labor. I was extremely dissatisfied with his demeanor, snide remarks, and general lack of concern. We do not have extra cash flow to pay for the mistakes of others. I felt he either knew there was a bigger problem and didnt want to risk loosing the quick $ 400 or he should have known about the problem (it was a big problem in my opinion) and was therefore negligent in his dealings with my heater. I attempted to contact him via email to resolve the issue. We got another heater company out here and was told the heater was almost not operational, and our best bet was to replace it. We replaced it with a new one with the new company and are happy with that. I requested my money back from Brian Adams for his negligence and never received a response back. Long story long, dont deal with this company. I checked Unilocal in advance and these reviews seems to be for a completely different company! Where was their awesome reliable service when I needed it?

They did an awesome job cleaning our duct work! I spoke with Brian over the phone and had an appointment set up for a Saturday. Low and behold, both my kids and myself were sick as dogs on the day we had scheduled and had to cancel. My wife contacted Brian mere minutes before our appointment and he did not charge us a cancellation fee! I felt horrible for having to cancel but, I felt it was in everyone’s best interest to postpone the work until our family was feeling better. I called Brian back the following Monday to reschedule and he was able to send out Sam and Gustavo later on that day. They showed up on time and were very professional. At first, they were concerned that they may not be able to finish the job in the allotted time due to the amount of returns/​registers in our home. Not only did they finish on time, but they made sure to vacuum all the carpets/​floors in our house to make sure there was no mess left behind. I would highly recommend Adams to any one!

I had a heating problem and called Adams late in the day and they sent out a tech the next day. Josh diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly and professionally.

I called Adams Heating & Cooling on a Friday when my old furnace gave out and he had a new one installed and running three days later on Monday. There were no cost over-​runs. The total cost was exactly as he had proposed up front. He took care of the necessary city permits and the city inspector approved the installation. Brian Adams kept me informed every step of the way. I would definitely recommend Adams Heating and Cooling to others. I am not in any way affiliated or related to Mr. Adams.

Very happy with their service. Temporarily installed a circuit board until they could replace our furnace the following week. Follow-​up call over the weekend to make sure everything was ok. Very courteous while installing the new heater. Very satisfied…

Five stars! First star: the owner Brian called back within 10 minutes of leaving a message with his answering service. Scheduled an appointment for same day in a 4 hour window. It’s running high 90’s today and HVAC service techs are in short supply. Second star: called to update his crew’s ETA from previous jobs, twice! They were able to narrow the window of arrival too. Third star: Josh arrived on time, neat, professional and friendly. Fourth star: methodically diagnosed our AC problem and kindly explained each step while I hovered. Found our problem in 20 minutes, provided estimate and took care of it. Afterwards, ran further diagnostics and tested the system to be sure there wasn’t anything else. Fifth star: Josh retraced his steps to make sure the place was clean, electrical panels closed up and that the work and equipment were properly properly documented. These folks really know what they’re doing, equipped for the work and clean. Adams are my GO TO guys for HVAC work. I agree, Adams is an excellent company!
