Went here for a free quote after a neighbor backed into our car. Service was quick and pleasant enough. The labor assessment was accurate, to their credit, but the price was the highest in town. $ 105/​hr for labor? Really??? Come on, not even doctors make that! I think they saw a young lady walk in and just saw a chance for easy money… but the joke’s on them, because I work in insurance and while I might not know much about cars, I have friends who know plenty. Ended up calling around, found the best price at Blake’s Auto Body in Novato. Hope this helps someone else.

Prompt, efficient and absolutely smooth process. My full bumper needed replaced — covered by insurance. But I also needed a tail light replaced which costs 260 bucks– ugh! But Gulick’s took an extra step to find me a used part and saved me some money. Only four stars because: The scented candle smell in the office gave me a headache.

I had been told that Gulick’s Auto Body is one of the best in the area. So when my car was damaged in a parking lot, I called and made an appointment to to get it repaired. I took it in on a Wednesday hoping to get it back by the next Friday. I called on Monday to see what progress had been made and to my delight, they told me it would be ready that afternoon. When I got there, there was a beautiful car sitting there, all clean and shiny. It was my car! Ken and crew did an outstanding job in fixing the damage, cleaning it inside and out. I would highly recommend taking your damaged vehicle to them. Thank you, Ken and crew.

I have been working with Gulick’s Auto Body for 10 years, I am an insurance agent, every time a client gets into an accident and they get to go to Gulick’s Auto Body, I get a thank you letter for referring them to Gulick’s. Their service is the best. The car comes back better than before the accident because they detail your car before they give it back. They do the work in a timely manner and you never have an insurance issue with them where my client has gotten a bill because they were not covered for something. I have had them work on 3 of my cars. I would not go anywhere else and they are the only shop I would want my clients to go to. Thank you for being the best Auto Body Shop Debra

Let me start this review off by saying I had really high expectations considering the history of this company my longstanding history of being a resident of this city and always happy to support local business owners. Went to get a quote for my 1994 Toyota Celica that had been in an accident and before he even got out of my car I could tell that I was going to be judged. I walked up to Ken the owner introduce myself he acted like he barely wanted to shake my hand. Literally grabed the top of my fingers as if I was dirty. I was always taught you can tell a lot by a man thru their handshake. Not impressed.
didn’t get more than 5 minutes into explaining why I was there and he simply said I would have to take this apart in order to even give you a quote. I thought to myself no problem so I responded with that would be okay then he proceeded to tell me that the repairs would be several thousand dollars and I should go through an insurance company I explained that the insurance will cover it the car is very old and I just wanted to get it fixed and pay out of pocket.
This is where it gets ugly he told me it would probably be about $ 4,000 to repair the car more than the car is worth. I’m not sure if I look like I don’t know anything about cars or fixing them but I was well prepared to pay the fees that I expected this repair to be and it went downhill from there. I came straight from work and was in complete business attire so not sure what the issue was or why I was treated this way.
Long story short I left extremely disappointed feeling very much judged discriminated against and he treated me like I wouldn’t have the money to fix my own car I’m actually sad that I was teared this way that’s why I’m taking the time out to leave a review. I’ve referred several people to them before but likely will not be referring any other customers to them again.

I had them detail my wife’s car for her birthday and they did an amazing job!

We have done a lot of business with Gulicks over the years. The last time we took my car there for rear bumper and side repairs the paint started chipping off after a week when I washed the car. My husband took the car back and the area was repainted. When we got the car back the windshield had a big chip and was cracking. It was a very busy time for me with work so it took me a little while to call but when I did Jerry did not believe me. They told me that they take photos and would have it In Their file if it came in with a cracked wind shield and there was nothing in the file. I don’t do well with being accused of lying and to top it off the paint is again peeling off of my bumper. Very disappointing.

I swear my car looks better than it did when I bought it! I was rear-​ended on October 3^rd, took it to Gulick’s because I heard nothing but good things about them. Picked up my car Wednesday, 10/​28, at 7:30am — it is amazing! On top of it the car was cleaned inside and out, including the trunk, and you can’t tell that it was ever hit! So happy with the work they did, I will happily recommend them to anyone that needs body work done.

Now I see why Gulick’s have 100% 5* reviews on Unilocal.I brought my 2005 Lexus in on October 26, 2015 to have body work done on the rear bumper and right rear quarter panel. I got a call this morning (October 29, 2015) that the work was complete and the car was ready to pick up. I just now returned from picking up the car and their work is absolutely perfect. The car actually looks better than it did prior to the damage. They not only did the body work but detailed the car and either replaced the headlight lens or some other magic because they look brand new.

I can’t believe how impressed I was by the service that I received. I was rear ended and so I brought my van in and the other insurance company was paying. I can’t drive yet so when my car was ready, they dropped it at my house and returned my rental for me! My van is flawless, it looks fantastic and their customer service can’t be beaten!

Completely professional and easy to work with. My car came back looking brand new, highly recommended.

These folks are the best. Jessica is the ever-​professional woman who does the billing and check ins. The guys are friendly and they’ve fixed all our cars and trucks for years now. Never a complaint. It’s done when they say it will be done and for the price agreed. Can’t get better than that.

Just picked up my car last night from Gulick’s. In the past I’ve always used G & C, but Gulick’s early hours for drop-​off were more convenient and I thought I’d give them a try after reading all the great reviews they get. They were great from start to finish and now I’ll never go anywhere else.
8÷2÷15 update: okay this kinda shows that I can be a not-​very-​observent dork once in awhile, but here it is… I was looking at my car the other day and thinking «wow it just doesn’t look as old as it used to…» but couldn’t figure out why. Then I realized the old yellowed and foggy headlamps looked brand new. I realize now that they were polished while Gulick’s had the car in to do the body work. That kind of service just hardly exists… so so classy and so not expected that they did that.
Denting your ride sucks… getting it fixed at Gulick’s doesn’t.

I had a great experience here. My car was nearly totaled when it came to Gulick’s but the end result was a car that looked like new and runs just as good as it did before the accident. All of the staff at Gulick’s is professional, friendly, and polite. They kept in contact with me and made every effort to accommodate me. I truly feel they went above and beyond, not only with the repairs but with their customer service. They are knowledgeable and walked me through everything. I highly recommend Gulick’s.

Had some minor body work needed on my car and after hearing some friends rave about Gulick’s, I took to Unilocal to see what others were saying. After reading the overwhelming positive reviews, I decided to take it in for a estimate. After getting another estimate, Matt at Gulick’s said it was not as major as another shop quoted, and even fixed part of my bumper on the spot during my estimate! Needed an additional part, which arrived the next day, they got the job done within 2 hours! Great experience, and highly recommend!

My BMW was recently crunched by another car and I went through Gulicks via my insurance. I was immediately impressed from my first phone call, through to the end. The staff was amazing, the shop was very clean and organized, they explained the repair process and called me with updates and had my car completed before the estimated date.
Very pleased!

I can give them a few extra stars! Had an amazing service the other day, I was referred by my insurance carrier and I would definitely save them on my list of BEST service places. Fast service and I was even offered a cup of coffee while waiting!

I was in a pinch and I walked in off the street. The first thing I noticed was how spotless the garage/​workshop was. This is a good sign — it means they are professional and they ‘care’. I went into the office & talked with Ken Gulick himself. He is fair & honest & a straight shooter, no BS…
When I picked up my car the next day, I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was perfect. By the way, a guy named Ernie did the work & he must be a magician. This guy is talented…
The prices are exceedingly fair for the quality of workmanship that you get.

Everything about working with Gulick’s was top notch. They made my life very easy and repaired my crunched truck to make it appear like brand new. When I got in it to drive away after they finished I felt something was out of place in the cab. They had totally cleaned the INSIDE of my truck!!! It had not been that clean since the day I bought it and I appreciated all of their attention to details.
An extra benefit is that they are open until 1 pm on Saturdays which is very rare for an auto body shop.

My review is a tad late since they fixed my Kia’s boo-​boo last fall. I researched 3 auto repair shops in the Petaluma area and based on other Unilocal reviews, chose Gulick. The shop is super clean, have great customer service and their estimate was fair (right in the middle). I hope I don’t need to see them again (for business, that is!); however, I definitely recommend them in case your vehicle needs body repair.
