Fregene’s Pizza

Let me preface saying that I am TOTAL foodie and a food snob so I do not just eat any food. I especially do NOT eat greasy junky drive-​thru food because I think they are a waste of calories.
But OMG, Fregene’s Abundanza pizza is beyond AMAZING!!! My mouth was having orgasms with every bite I took. The thin pizza crust was absolutely perfect. The crunch reminded me of the authentic thin Italian breadsticks, but with just enough crust (and NOT soggy at all) to hold up all the delicious toppings. I could tell that the pizza toppings/​ingredients were super fresh and of excellent quality. The Abundanza pizza had the perfect balance/​ratio of pizza dough, cheese, sauce, meat, and veggies. The meat toppings were primo and tasty (not greasy and overly salty like most chained pizza joints). The bell peppers, red and green onions, and tomatoes were so finely diced, they subtly complimented the rest of the ingredients on the pizza perfectly. I especially loved that the pizza was topped off with big chunks of artichokes, sliced black olives & mushrooms, and freshly cut basil leaves.
Don’t pass up trying Fregene’s Pizza because of the unassuming store front. I am SO glad to have found Fregene’s Pizza because Fregene’s offer gourmet quality pizza at affordable prices.

After trying a few of the pizza joints in Petaluma, this one has the best pizza. If you want some fancy menu then you might be disappointed. There are a few tables to eat at also. The food is great and prices are fair. The cookies are good too.

Always have freshly made pizza by the slice, they make their own cookies and marinate their wings

Wow this place was fantastic. I asked the hotel clerk where I could find good pizza in walking distance and they recommended this place. Was a bit of a walk and when I got there I was a bit worried. Walked in anyway and decided to give it a go and was glad I did. Great pizza and the owner is a super nice guy.
Wife got a pesto sauce with chicken onions peppers and garlic and loved it.
Kids and I got cheese on their half and ham and pepperoni on mine. Toppings were good but the crust was amazing. We also got breadstick with a home made chipotle dipping sauce that was very good. Prices were reasonable. You can get a slice and a soda for 3 bucks.

Just called to see if they delivered, but was planning to pick up if they didn’t. Guy said we don’t deliver and hung up. What’s with the attitude? Just asking a question.

Grumpy owner serving pizza that tastes like grocery store cardboard pizza. Unimpressed. Pizza is the only item on the menu. Oh, and chocolate chip cookies that taste like they haven’t been baked yet. I thought small town shops were supposed to be friendly and welcoming. Not this guy’s shop!

I’ve been on a mission for good pizza in Petaluma
I liked the Verdure and Carne the best — I recommend grabbing them with the artichokes on top, it gives it an additional flavor kick that’s different but very tasty. I always get a Caesar salad with my pizza, it just compliments the freshness of the pizza ingredients.
I love the crispy thin crust of the pizza. On top of that, the owner is the cook and he is incredibly nice. Its also the cleanest restaurant I’ve ever seen.
So stop by Fregene’s and grab yourself a lunch special or even a whole pie to go!

If you want great pizza at a great price your in for a treat! The owners amazing and he puts his care and attention into making sure your happy with everything. Please give this man and small business owner a chance with all the big corporations out there. It’s nice to see someone out there trying to make their dream come true while making yummy delicious pizza!!!

I would really love to be able to give them 10 out of 5 stars. The food was incredible, as always. Their food is never anything but ⁵⁄₅ stars excellent.
The reason for the other 5 stars? I received the most incredible costumer service I believe I have ever have! I ordered 2 pizzas a salad and drinks for delivery. The man working (I believe the manager/​owner) said he was the only one working so he’d get it started cooking and as long as no one came in he’d be on his way. WHAT? You mean when you say free delivery anywhere in Petaluma you’ll actually lose money to keep to your word?! That was the first incredible part. When I was able to go pick it up I called twice to see if that would be easier. Turns out he had already left and was almost at my house. After he dropped the food off and got back to the store he called me back, having seen my missed call, to make sure my order was okay and I wasn’t calling about a mistake. HE CALLED BACK AFTER ALL OF THAT JUST TO MAKE SURE I WAS HAPPY! Needless to say I was thrilled with my experience and that will be my go to pizza place in Petaluma no matter what.
I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who likes pizza!!!

Amazing pizza and even better customer service! Pizza came thin crust and perfectly baked. And even delivered to our door on a busy Thursday night. Highly recommend this place!

Slice and drink for 3.00. Pretty good since slices are hard to find around here. Get it while your car is getting vacuumed at raintree next door.

Since Fregenes was taken over by Ralph three years ago I’ve loved coming here for the personality and consistency of the food here. I’ve never been disappointed by the food here and have happily been bringing guests and business meetings here for a relaxed amazing food experience.
I recommend this to everyone who loves a personal atmosphere and amazing food at an insane price.
