A trusted friend recommended Lily and Mint for our wedding at Olympia’s Valley Estate in Petaluma, and I am eternally grateful! Andrea was an absolute delight to work with from the get go. She is creative, thoughtful, detailed, and professional. The floral was truly one of the highlights of our wedding.
I know what I like when I see it, but I don’t know much about floral. That is where Andrea was perfect. She understood my vision and made it a reality and then some. We collaborated over Pinterest which was very helpful. Andrea made excellent recommendations and ensured we had the best, local, in season flowers and plants for our special day. My bouquet was STUNNING. I will be adding photos to this review once we get some professional shots!

I worked with Andrea for my wedding at Copain winery on August 29^th 2015. I literally cannot say enough good things about her. From the moment I started working with her, she showed her creativity and her intense passion for designing the perfect floral arrangements for my wedding. From the pinterest page she created for me to the patience she showed as I tried to change ridiculously specific details while planning a wedding across the country, I was so incredibly impressed with Andrea. I feel so lucky to have found her and would say anyone looking for a florist anywhere in the area, you should MOST definitely work with Andrea if you can. And on top of everything, the prices were so reasonable. She could get away with charging 10x for the amazing work she does!

The piece of advice I got the most from friends when my husband and I got engaged was to hire a day-​of coordinator. Having now been through the wedding and having worked with Andrea, it is definitely advice I will also be extending to other brides/​grooms.
Andrea was key to the day’s success. Two nights before our wedding, the venue emailed my husband and I to inform us that, despite having agreed to provide décor for our ceremony two months prior, they would no longer be providing us with anything. Not only did this mean we were going to get married in front of nothing but a brown curtain, but we had tons of guests in town, many last minute things to still tend to, and no idea where to begin to find an alternative solution. That’s when Andrea stepped in.
Within hours of receiving the news, Andrea contacted us immediately with a list of ideas she had for alternative décor. Given how on top of everything she had been until then, we trusted her implicitly to create a beautiful space with little direction. Knowing she would be resolving the issue, not only was the weight of the last minute bad news lifted, but the décor Andrea ended up providing for our ceremony was gorgeous. (I’d even go so far as to say better than what we had originally planned with the venue!)
Between her last minute problem solving, ability to remain calm during the chaos, and her responsiveness, Andrea helped ensure the day went off without a hitch. She created a detailed schedule for us and all of our vendors, and made sure we adhered to it as much as possible during the actual event. She helped us through all the bumps and hiccups along the way and ensured that the evening unfolded beautiful. Andrea kept us sane, and I can’t thank her enough for that. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly day-​of coordinator for their special day!

I feel so lucky to have found and booked Andrea and Lily & Mint for my wedding! Not only did Andrea coordinate our day flawlessly, she also provided stunning flowers for our tables, ceremony, and bridesmaids/​groomsmen. She is cool, calm and collected which is exactly what you need in your wedding coordinator. I have no idea how she took my boxes of «décor» and random items and turned them into a beautifully decorated venue, but she did! Andrea and her sister were truly wedding day ninjas. Every time I had a question, or needed anything, they would magically appear and make it happen for me :). For example, my now husband wanted to wrap the garter around a baseball to throw it to his guys. Right after he took the garter off I turned around and there Andrea was with the baseball, right on cue! Our day was seamless and even with a few hiccups (medical emergency during the ceremony/​overly enthusiastic groomsmen at the end of the night…), Lily & Mint handled everything and then some. I cannot recommend these ladies enough. If you’re on the fence as to whether you need a coordinator… trust me, YOU DO, and there is no one better than Lily & Mint.

I cannot say enough great things about Andrea. I reached out to her to be the planner and floral designer for my destination wedding in California. From the beginning, I was impressed with the way she saw beyond my vision and was able to provide so much inspiration and creativity to further enhance my big day. She was incredibly responsive and went out of her way to communicate with me. I had absolutely zero anxiety in regards to wedding planning from the other side of the country; until disaster struck and my venue/​caterer cancelled on me unexpectedly. Andrea empathized with my situation but didn’t waste a moment brainstorming a new list of venues and options for me. She formulated multiple lists of venues that I should check out based on her own research and personal experience. She was knowledgeable, fair, and reliable. Lily & Mint was my calm within the hectic wedding storm. Their packages (both floral and event planning) were fair priced and well formulated based on a lot of research I did within the area.
If you’re looking for peace of mind so you can personally enjoy your wedding day (and even the planning process), I would suggest hiring a coordinator. If you’re looking for someone who is well organized, experienced within the region, and capable of executing your vision, I would say look into Lily & Mint Events.

We are so incredibly happy that we hired Andrea to do our last month of planning. Her coordinating pricing is very reasonable as were her floral design pricing. Early on, we decided we’d try to do our own flowers but just weeks before the wedding, I panicked and wrote Andrea to see if she’d consider doing our bouquet and flower crown. Andrea didn’t seem to hesitate at all, which was so sweet of her considering that our wedding was two days after Christmas. Both came out GORGEOUS and oh-​so-​pinterest-​worthy.
As for the coordination — I had a very clear vision of what I wanted our space to look like and I was so impressed at how Andrea (with the help of her sister and some of my good friends) was able to help make my vision come to life. Our wedding also had a ton of moving parts (with the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and dancing portion all requiring different locations in a big house) and not once did it feel like we were off-​schedule. We were also short-​staffed and missing several rental items — all of which I did not find out until our honeymoon. Someway, somehow, Andrea made it all feel seamless! She also helped me follow up with a few vendors who did not deliver what they had promised. I could really go on and on but I’d still probably leave out so many bumps along the road she fixed without us even knowing!
If you want a coordinator who is even-​keeled, kind, detail-​oriented, and easy-​going, look no further than the Lily & Mint!

The wedding planning tip I received most consistently from married friends was to hire a day-​of coordinator. It took me a while to come around to the idea but I’m so glad that I did, and that I found Andrea. I had done most of the lead-​up planning on my own, and the psychological relief of having someone else emailing vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding was probably worth the (very reasonable) cost by itself. On the day of the wedding, Andrea and her sister took care of setting up décor, receiving deliveries, addressing a vendor parking snafu, and breaking everything down at the end of the night (plus probably other things I didn’t even know about, which is sort of the point). Definitely recommended!

Andrea was SO helpful in coordinating all the décor and (god knows) our 10 groomsmen. I would have been a nutcase if it weren’t for her and so would my mom.
If you are iffy on a day of coordinator I am the almost cautionary tale, ladies! Andrea scooped up all my random printed emails from vendors and made my wedding go off without a hitch or a phone call to me day of! All I had to do was show up!
Andrea was wonderful and I am SO happy she was there to make our day perfect!

We hired Lily & Mint Weddings and Events for our wedding Aug. 3^rd. 2013 for the month of planning. Andrea and her sisters were so helpful and went above and beyond the week of the wedding. She met with us in person, contacted every vendor because my fiancé and I were out of the country until 2 weeks before the wedding.
I wish we would have hired them earlier because there was so much stress planning the wedding in less than 6 months. Lily and Mint were there for the rehearsal directing everyone and completely broke down the entire wedding and put everything in order for the vendors to pick up the next morning. I wish we would have hired them earlier to see their full potential of wedding planning beyond the 1 month plan because it makes life 100% easier. I highly recommend them and there were multiple disasters averted like when we ran out of ice, when our lights weren’t working and keeping the entire wedding on schedule.
I saw them help out with getting some guests who had drank too much into shuttles so they made it home. They also kept track of every vendor. I could go on and on. I also posted photos of our wedding on my site here so you can see their work because they put together all the tables and much of the décor for our nearly 200 person wedding.

We originally contacted Andrea for floral work for our wedding, and soon realized we needed a day of coordinator as well. I asked Andrea if she would be up to the task of doing both floral and coordinating, and between her and her team of sisters, they accomplished the tasks as if it were easy.
While planning my wedding, something that I found VERY important when dealing with vendors, was that your vendor has good communication skills. Andrea is a lady that gets an A+ in that department. She was on top of everything immediately. Emails were responded to quickly, and if she said she was going to get something done in a certain amount of time, it was done. She was SO reliable.
Her floral work was beautiful. I am very happy that she did our floral work. If you are someone that likes using electronic communication to your advantage, she is great at that. Her and I were able to share floral ideas throughout the days via Pinterest and Google+. It made things really easy, and helped ensure that our floral visions were on the same page. She did such a fantastic job with all of the floral, especially my bouquet and bridesmaid’s bouquets. She understood what I wanted and executed the ideas perfectly.
As far as coordination goes, Andrea and her sisters made my wedding day stress free (well, in all the areas that she could control, haha). Andrea is a very organized person, and very much on top of things, which allowed me to not have to panic about the details of who would be where and when. If you think you don’t need a day of coordinator, think again. I thought I didn’t need one, and now I look back and have no idea how I would have gotten through the day without Andrea and her sisters. I was able to show up and enjoy my wedding, instead of worrying about the limos, cake, photo booth guy, string trio, the bridal party, decorations, food, drinks, and countless other details that are involved in a wedding day.
The only thing that ended up a little in the grey area was the day after the wedding communication, as far as who had what after cleanup the previous night. With decorations and rented items, it got a little confusing with who left with what. Things were cleared up and everything was figured out, but if I did it again, I would be sure to plan in advance with Andrea who should be leaving with what.
I feel lucky that we found Andrea and her sisters for our wedding. They were professional, affordable, and hard working. They were amazing.

I married my husband back in May. We hired Andrea for «day of» coordination about 1 month to the wedding. She really saved us when our caterer pulled out soon thereafter. She found us another caterer who could basically reproduce the menu and actually offer us more when we had about 3 weeks to the day of the wedding. She was calm and personable throughout the process. She truly was on our side and advocated for us when some conflicts developed with the representative of the venue. We could not have pulled the wedding off without her! Although there were minor issues with details on the actual day of, we were very thankful that we found her. Highly recommended!

I have known Andrea for more than a year and she has planned multiple corporate events for for La Bonne Cuisine Catering. Andrea works in synergy with her sisters and they rock. Always multitasking, always nice, they are very relaxing to work with. Day of coordination, long term planning, help with vendors, I totally recommend their service to anyone in need.

Love these ladies! I was lucky to be involved in a wedding they put on, doing hair and makeup for the lovely bride. Under some challenging weather they made all the right decisions and kept the whole event on track seamlessly. So professional and I am sure the guests never even knew they were there. Very impressed!

Andrea and her sisters are very hard workers and if you have a plan, they will carry it out through every last detail. They are all very calm and cool and so great to work with. I was amazed at how well they decorated and set up the venue and how they kept us all on time. The prices are very affordable and I couldn’t recommend Lily and Mint enough. Excellent.

I can’t say enough good things about Andrea and her sisters’ services! Our wedding was so smooth thanks to these ladies. They did so much work, planning, suggesting vendors, coordinating, set up on the day of, and kept me and the groom on track so we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
