I Love this place. I try not to go when it’s busy, but if you can go when it’s slower, you will receive the best pedicure in all of Petaluma. The best. They are the only place in town that will actually scrub my feet completely, clean them completely, and also take care of any ingrown toenail’s. I have literally been to just about every shop in Petaluma and I can tell you that while TNT may not have the best aesthetics when you walk in and yes, it can be very tiny in there, and yes there’s a lot of chatter and conversation that you may not understand, but it is the very best place for anyone that suffers bad feet. They also give the best gel manicures. I always ask for three coats and they give it to me without extra charge. Like I said, aesthetically it is not the most good-looking place, but I can tell you that my job there downtown in a good location and they have great hours. I have been coming here for five years and it is still my favorite place.

The workers were so nice when I walked in! I didn’t set up an appointment and I was happy to see they had time for me despite all the other customers in there. The workers may not speak well at English but talking to them for what they do know is wonderful. I definitely see myself coming back here when I need to get my nails done :)

Love this nail salon! The wonderful ladies at T&T took me as a walk-in pedicure late in the day, gave me quality service and smooth little footsies, and made my much-needed vacation that much better. Will be back next visit to Petaluma!

I have mixed feelings about this place. I read other reviews after i sat in a chair… right when i walked in i was greeted with the STRONGEST odor of products(other places smell like this but it was really strong). It’s a little dingy(old things kind of dirty), definitely among the dirtier places I’ve been to and smallest(feels like you’re in a closet) The girl i got was really nice, even offered me gum haha. She was very friendly and only charged me $ 25 for a gel mani(at first i heard $ 35 and gave her $ 40 but corrected me when she could have kept it all). Gave me a neck massage and did two coats(other places have only done one)… Overall: I’d go here if i were in a HURRY, it was all very quick(did not feel complete for some reason). I would AVOIDTHEGUY! The girl next to me got a mani and was there half my time…(altho it sounded like he only charged her $ 5)… i would NOT get a pedi here either(the chairs looked grosse)

Just wrote a long review and Unilocal deleted it… hmmm will use more valuable time to write a review again because I like this T & T Nail Shop and the people who own and run it… A dear friend recommended T&T Nails when I asked for help with my very neglected toenails… I’m glad I went to see them, as now my nails look groomed instead of a mess! Tammy and team do an fine job at T&T Nails. I have been there twice. The first time I visited with major nail issues due to not being able to reach my toes for years and had just had hip surgery. Tammy and team worked carefully, efficiently, and quickly to clean up many months… at least a year of neglect. I had to move and shift positions many times in the chair due to minor hip pain, and they accommodated my needs with cheerful smiles and assurances that I could sit how I needed and they’d finish. The second visit was also very good. Tammy remembered my name(!) although she likes to add an «s» to the end of it :) Tammy is an «ace» with pedicures. Both Tammy and the young woman who did my fingernails were courteous and professional. The manicure included a hand, arm, and shoulder massage which were also very relaxing. The tubs were clean and chairs modern and comfortable with their massage features. I tipped each one BIG the first visit due to the awful condition of my toes and hands. The second visit also deserved a good tip for good work: $ 5 each. Tammy and team earn their money! They work hard and with cheer. I like their work ethic, attitude, and service. Check out T&T Nails in Petaluma.(They’ve been there 14 years and I’m wishing they have many more.)

This is the most filthiest, unhygienic nail«salon» in Petaluma. STAYAWAY! I am still dealing with a raging staph infection caused by a cut on my toe during a rushed pedicure. I was a regular — moved away — then returned for a visit and decided to treat myself to a manicure/pedicure. I was shocked dismayed by how far down the toilet T&T nails had gone. I’m surprised the health department hasn’t shut this place down. They would have a field day with all the obvious health violations in plain view. While I got my(very regrettable) pedicure, I couldn’t help but notice that between customers the only thing they did to clean the footbaths was squirt a little hand gel into the basin, swish it around with a dirty sponge, then fill it for the next customer. The floor — and EVERYTHING was filthy, dusty and not maintained. Old, thinned out nail polish and poor housekeeping all around. When I arrived, the owner/manager(Tom) was outside smoking around the corner near where I parked. A few minutes later he came back to the«salon», DIDNT wash his hands and then proceeded to give someone a manicure. After he finished giving the manicure he plopped himself into a pedicure chair and proceeded to pick his nose(& flick boogers! Yikes) while mindlessly playing with his iPhone. Obviously the personal habits of the management reflects on the filthy business practices of this establishment. Overall– The atmosphere in T&T nails is dismal — it’s like being in an unkempt, crowded & UNdecorated garage filled with dusty, dirty cheap equipment. They make zero effort to create a clean or attractive atmosphere. The chairs were very uncomfortable as well. What a blight to this beautiful neighborhood. Close it down and get someone in there who takes pride in their business practices and respects their customers health and hygiene. Yuck!!! I should have just run away while I could. This place is dangerously filthy and disgusting.

This is the worst nail salon ever! It was dirty, dark, and the polishes looked like they hadn’t been replaced since the 80s. They said very little to us when we walked in and weren’t friendly. Forget the prices on the wall, Tammy will make up whatever price she feels like for you and then hovers to make sure you leave at least a $ 5 tip for everyone who touched your hands or feet. I got a pedicure and a French manicure which was priced at $ 25 on the wall. She ran my card for $ 33 without asking or telling me she changed the price and then demanded I leave a $ 10 tip… in cash only. I was so shocked I just paid and left, never to return. Don’t go here unless you plan to get ripped off. Update: 2 days later and the polish from my manicure and pedicure is already coming off. They obviously use the cheapest products they can find because I’m not rough on my fingers or toes nor should any mani pedi be useless after two days. I could do a better job myself!

The reviews of this place are accurate. For the price, the mani/pedis are basic, the place isn’t awful but it isn’t pretty or even close to clean. My experience wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great. When I told the owner I had just moved to Petaluma she started talking to me and putting extra effort into my service but it was very short lived as three more people walked in she had to get them set up and my pedi literally lasted 5 minutes. Fail! I guess I’m headed to Spatini for twice the price but far superior service. Also, their cheap lotions and oil products felt toxic and smell awful, I had to go home straight away and disinfect the chemicals off my body. Gross.

I have been going here since I first found them back in nov. last year. I feel like«queen for a day» every time! The prices are very reasonable and when they throw in an extra massage it’s worth a bigger tip. They recently relocated to smaller facility next door, I’m sure this is due to the economy and trying to keep their rates affordable. It is a little more cramped but it will not stop me from wanting to go. They get all five stars from me.

Horrible service. They started too many people without considering their staff size and then made 5 people wait in nail limbo for an hour while they started other people who came in later! I won’t recommend this place to anyone unless you’re desperate

Don’t do it! They were rough and obviously just trying to get it done as fast as possible(there was only 1 other client there, no excuse). She just didn’t care and was super sloppy because of it. Sorry to be harsh but wanted to warn because: A. I’m pissed for paying $ 25 for a nail job I have to get fixed at a better salon tomorrow. and B. there are much better ones on Kentucky St. a couple doors down. just sayin’.

Horrible! Took my grandfather-in-law and they barely touched his feet and did the bare minimum. And I mean BARE minimum. Soaked our feet for a second, no massage, no filing, no spa treatment, and only one coat of paint and no clear top coating for $ 20! NOTHANKYOU! Worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I will never return and would encourage people to not go there!

Awful service, dirty, never going back. Upon walking in for my first time I immediately noticed how dirty and dated this nail salon is. It wasn’t crowded and my friend and myself made an appointment. We were asked to choose a color from their wall first. All, besides maybe 5, of the polishes on the wall were really old/clumpy/off-color. My friend took a pink newish looking one and I took a red newish looking one. We were seated next to each other for our manicures. The staff was friendly but not professional at all. They kept eating around my friend and myself. One who had finished eating in a spa chair then washed the excess food off of her hands in the foot bath then didn’t clean it out. The lady doing my nails seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. She filed my nails so unevenly it was insane. One cut short, one long, one rounded, one squared off. I asked her to re-file them and make them even… she did make them all the same length but still some squared off and some rounded which I had to fix upon getting home. My nails were sloppily done and the lady didn’t even look at what she was doing most of the time, she kept looking out the window or over at my friends nails. Since the polish was old my nails didn’t turn out looking well. No lotion was used so the manicure left my hands super dry/cracked. I personally didn’t like the«back massage»…it wasn’t good and considering how un-relaxing the atmosphere was just made it seem really awkward. Really weird experience all-in-all. Most stressful manicure I’ve ever had.

I have always had bad experiences when trying out new nail salons. When I moved to Petaluma last month I prepared myself for the worst and just went for the closest salon. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the T&T salon did an excellent job on my nails and the prices were very reasonable. The décor is not fancy but they get the job done and they’re friendly! They just picked up a new regular. :)

Did a french manicure and pedicure last Friday evening, without making an appointment. It was just my boyfriend and I when we arrived so the service was quick, efficient and no mess! I had two ladies helping me out and another two with my boyfriend. The ladies were really nice, asking from time to time if we’re doing alright. Uh, a massage chair with your feet soaked in warm water while your hand is given a massage? YES, duh! $ 38 for french mani-pedi? Yikes. Yet I had a wonderful experience at T&T. Would definitely give them a visit again!

I was very pleased when I called to see if I could send my two daughters in for manicures and pay by card over the phone. They went to the salon directly after school. The manicures looked lovely, and the girls had a good time. So why the 2 stars? Within two days after the manicures, both girls’ cuticles started peeling(fortunately only unsightly, and not painful). I asked my older daughter if the manicurists had used cuticle nippers, and she said that they had– a big NO-NO! I understand that if there is excessive cuticle growth, sometimes clipping is necessary, but I know for my daughters that was not the case. There was no need to clip, it was done as routine. I can only assume that the clippers are disinfected properly between each client(they did not develop symptoms of infection, just the peeling), however, there was no need to risk infection by using the nippers. We will not be back, and warn all friends interested in getting a manicure not to go here. P. S. My older daughter’s friend went in the same day and had the same peeling issue.

This T & T is dynamite. Rose did my toes & Cathy was not to chatty. For only 30 I was able to get mani & spa pedi that left me feeling far less dirty & much more flirty. I do recommend this quick, professional nail salon, which also has a HUGE collection of OPI polish for the painting on.

I can’t tell you my excitement about hitting T&T finally. All my friends said it is the best, you won’t go anywhere else. Well, maybe they were having a bad day, but here I sit with polish on the end of my toes and they didn’t even care to remove it. Pros: enthusiasm, neck massage, nice Cons: cramped, not clean(they put me in a dirty chair and got to it when they could); low quality workmanship. I went right before lunch time on a Monday. It was not busy so that wasn’t an excuse. I tipped 20% and the girl looked at it, looked at me and just smirked. Okay then — I was being nice. Next time, you will need to earn it.
