I was really happy with their service. They adjusted the scheduling to suit my needs and fixed the TV in no time. The team is very responsive and skilled. I would highly recommend them.

My LCD tv starting having a big square section flashing like a grey strobe light. SOS was very responsive and quick. The owner, Elie, had me take a photo of the screen and email it to him. He knew exactly what was wrong and brought the right parts. It was fixed in about 20 minutes. The service was very professional. I felt very comfortable and was very happy to have my tv fixed. I am completely satisfied.

SOS Electronics was assigned to do the warranty field service on my Samsung television. They quickly setup an initial appointment to inspect the TV and arrived on time. I believe the individual that performed the service was the owner and he was very knowledgeable. He immediately identifed the faulty component and provided a time frame for when it would arrive (in my case three business days). The part arrived on time and was replaced the same day without issue. Their arrival time for the second visit was within five minutes of their estimate and their time onsite was perfectly reasonable considering the extent of the repair. I could not have asked for better service.

Great work on my Vizio LCD. Although parts are hard to find for this brand, They managed to get what I needed. 5 years ago they fixed my Samsung LCD. Tried them again and same reasonable price great job.

Had a problem with a Samsung plasma TV under warranty. Samsung put SOS in contact with me and a few days later I was contacted on the scheduled date of repair.
It was nearly 10AM, and my repair window assigned was AM. They wanted more pictures than what Samsung wanted emailed to them. I sent one in, but the issue does not photo well (due to the frame rate.) They told me that they wont order parts or service it without a good picture and told me if I didn’t like it to tell Samsung. Called Samsung, who apologized and is scheduling a different company to service the issue.
It seems they try to do as many warranty repairs as possible without actually visiting the homes as to save time. The person on the phone was rather glib and had no intention of honoring Samsung’s warranty policy.
Avoid SOS Electronics and try a different repair center.

Shawn, their Master Engineer, is awesome! When the main board on my 46″ Samsung LED went out, Shawn quoted me a reasonable price for a replacement and install, but he didn’t pressure me to buy. Instead, he encouraged me not to decide right away, but to take some time and research all my options, so I could make the best choice for me. I did, even spending a few days considering whether or not now was the time to upgrade to a new TV (which I had been considering before my TV stopped working). In the end, I decided to repair the TV I had. SOS was expedient in obtaining the replacement part. And because I could not take time off work to be home for the install, Shawn came in on his *day off* to do the install for me at a time that worked best for me. There was no extra charge for this. Now, my TV works perfectly, and I couldn’t be happier with SOS Electronics.

I would avoid them like the plague. They were assigned to me by Samsung when my TV had issues. They came in twice to replace the main board and never updated the record at Samsung so when the TV went bad for the third time and I called Samsung, I was told they had no record of previous repairs and just had 2 cancelled tickets. This time I asked Samsung to assign me to someone else and I am glad I did — Affordable Electronic’s Frank is the most honest person I have worked with and was very upfront with everything including paper-​work for Samsung.

Had white/​black spots on Samsung DLP due to defective chip and was covered by Samsung for repair/​replacement.
Service was outsourced to SOS Electronics, who came out the next day (called into Samsung in the evening)
SOS Electronics Technician Eric Flanders was knowledgeable, friendly, fast. Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced… wish all service vendors worked like this.
Highly recommend their services whether you have an warranty repair or not.

I needed to have my Samsung TV repaired and SOS was the easiest part of the whole process. Samsung tried to put me through the ringer… I’m not going to get into that.
SOS is a Samsung certified technician. After getting my repair ticket via Samsung, I received a phone call from SOS the same day. They scheduled a time (within a window… pretty common) to do the repair. They called before arriving and were on time. Both gentlemen were light, professional, and you could tell they had this process down to a science and new what they were doing. The whole display replacement took less than 15 minutes. Everything was returned to the way it was when they arrived, they cleaned up all their scraps, and were on their way.
The display samsung had sent was problematic and they had to come back two weeks later to repeat the same procedure. Their second visit was a seamless as the first.
I would definitely recommend SOS for your TV repair!

My Samsung 61″ DLP had a color wheel go out. Was goign to do it myself as I have replaced the lamp bulb before with no problem but, I had read on blogs about numerous secondary issues after replacing this part so I decided to let these guys fix it and I am glad I did as there were other issues after replacing the wheel. The screen was freezing which necessitated a new digital board also. They did order the wrong part which helped make the repair over two weeks. They did come replace a small temp control switch that was bad also but at no charge which was nice and they did give a discount because of the extended repair time. Its only been about a month but, so far, no problems.

My Samsung DLP developed the White/​Black Dot DMD chip failure. Samsung assigned the repair to SOS. Their tech, Sean, was prompt and very professional. He took the time to show me how the TV works and how to maintain it in the future (i.e. change the bulb without damaging it or the TV). It now works like new.

I don’t want to rant so I’ll just say the facts.
1. I dropped off my radio in March 2011.
2. I did not get a call back for almost a month so I called them. They said they had left me a message (they did not) and needed permission from me to order a new part.
I said, YES, order the new part.
3. I call them again, over one month later, they said the part «will be in later this week»
4. A month or so passes, still no word. I call. They say «oh wow, I just talked to them, the part gets in tomorrow».
5. Over a month passes again, I go in person, they say, «oh they sent the wrong part and we sent it back. Do you want us to try again?»
??? (were they lying? i don’t know)
I say no.
I dropped it off in March and picked it up in September, that is ½ of a year.
Why did I put up with this? Because they are the only Panasonic approved repair place in the area.
I asked them for a discount for the repairs and I would go ahead and wait for the other part to be sent to them… and he said NO. I said, even if I have waited 6 months? He said it would be the same price.
I did get my deposit back.
Long story short my poor radio is still broken.

Elie (pronounced «E-​LEE») is a really good guy. Although communication may be challenging — he knows what is is talking about and is the most fair electronics servicing place around. I refer any of my customers to him that have TV issues (

Very few in-​home service providers can honestly give you an exact time they will be there. A 3 hour window is reasonable. He’s a small outfit so please support your local business!

I will confirm the fact that the guy on the phone is very difficult to understand becuase English is not his first language. But really, I can’t hold that against the guy. My Samsung TV was out of warranty and doing the same ‘clicky’ thing that Summer’s was doing. I called them and told them exactly what was going on and that I knew how the problem would be fixed. They agreed and came out with the proper tools and fixed it easily. They showed up at the beginning of the 3 hour time window they gave me, it cost me as much as they said it would, and the technician was a freindly guy. If you need a house call TV repair, these guys seem pretty solid.
Pros: On Time, Paid Exaclty What I was Quoted, Friendly Tech
Cons: TV Repair is Expensive, Won’t Give You an Exact Time of Arrival (You Get a 3 Hour Window)

My Samsung TV failed with the on/​off problem Sunday night. I called Samsung, who told me SOS would call me in 2 – 3 days. They called about 9:30 Monday morning and the tech was at my house by noon. The tech was great and fixed the problem quickly.
The first person that called me wasn’t friendly, didn’t speak English as a first language, and wasn’t very good at explaining how the billing with Samsung/​SOS would work. However, their speed in addressing and fixing the problem was outstanding.

I discovered these folks by accident today. Our 16-​month-​old Samsung TV decided to quick turning on, just clicked and clicked like a bad alternator in an old car. We called Samsung who plainly told us they could do nothing for us other than send out a repair service. That service was to call us within 2 – 3 business days. (Wha?! There’s a Cowboys’ game this weekend!)
Well, within two *hours*, Lee from SOS Electronics was on the phone with me, ready to send a technician over to help us out. After I told him what the TV was doing, he gave me a quote over the phone and scheduled the repair.
The technician showed up the same day, fixed exactly what they said they would fix, and charged exactly what he said they said they would charge. Awesome!
I think I spoke to Lee four times on the phone today total, and each time he was friendly and very helpful.
Would definitely recommend and use again!
